  • Let this day 20 day motivate you to stay on the path, dear one. 10 days left. Today’s session could be special, inviting you to be still… in so many ways.
    Building on the last few practices, we continue to work on finding action within alignment and continue to mindfully build on core strength. As our vocabulary grows, maintain your connection to the foundation. Remember, it doesn’t always have to be harder, faster, stronger.

      Yoga With Adriene I notice that I have been on my phone so much that I lost myself a little bit, and when we stay in stillness I realize I haven’t been paying attention and love to myself and my mind. Thank you Adriene for all of this and your hard work 🥰💗💗

      I've noticed that stillness is very much welcome as I tend not to be still outside the mat (a lot of obligations and now it's an intense period of year as my exams are close). It was surprisingly good to be still. Thank you for today Adriene and Benji! 🥰❤

      It feels so comforting, like truly being comfortable in my own skin, finally - at the age of 42 I can finally say that I love myself and my body for everything that it gives me and does for me. True gratitude for where I am in life and my health. Love it, thank you for encouraging us to evaluate these feelings and traits within ourselves. Namaste ~

    For all my plus-sized, chubby, fat, bootylicious yogis around here: I'm struggling as well. It's okay, we are trying to do our bests. Please don't ever think yoga's not for you, like I did.

    This practice brought a peaceful clarity. I woke up this morning feeling scared, anxious about not just my day but my whole life. I was tempted to not allow myself the time to practice today - ‘it’s a yin style practice, I won’t be burning calories or toning muscle’ - but I committed and showed up. What I burnt was my anxiety, and what I toned was my selfawareness. Lying in shavasana I felt a wave of guilt and quietly said to myself ‘I’m sorry’; I then replied ‘it’s ok’, and you know what? It actually was. I can find stillness, and I deserve peace. Thank you Adriene 💖

      I don't know about not toning or burning calories. I'm no athlete but there are visible differences in a couple of months' worth of practice.

      This feels like an impossible time, Im trying to look at it as an opportunity. Nowhere else to be right? Might as well do a lot of yoga rather than living your anxiety. Your comment is most of us now. Thank you for sharing.

    Day 110!!!!!!! I'm breaking out of my daily routine today and running a semi-compliated errand before work. I'm nervous, but I think this practice helped. It was very difficult to keep still and impossible to keep my mind still, except for maybe three or four seconds... anyway, thanks for the videos and wish me luck!

    The best thing I like about Yoga is that there is no target, no goal to reach, no perfect shape or weight to attain. You are home every day, every time you practice. That feeling of connecting with yourself in a wholeness is priceless! Thank you Adriene, for sharing these classes.

      I’m also doing the 30 day programme during lockdown here in Liverpool, UK. I find myself really looking forward to practice each day, especially this one. Stillness was exactly what I needed.     Such a useful practice for me. I am always anxious. Planning, pre-planning, pre-pre-planning. Even during the practice, my mind goes to all the things that I need to do, how to do them, etc. I realized in multiple moments to question it, in a loving way, and it gave me a bit of peace. I also felt gratitude in the last seated posture when you said notice how you feel. I felt gratitude to myself to have come here and made myself experience this with you. thank you so much Adriene.

    I started the HOME journey on the first day of mandated shelter in place in Chicago - so when you start with "it's day 20", that's not just 20 days of yoga, but 20 days of Quarantine. I can't believe it. But I'm thankful for the practice, birth for the benefits of yoga and a way to keep track of time in this bizarre life.

    Before I started this on the second of January I had two ideas about myself: that my body is stiff and it is really difficult to change that and that I'm 'just not a work-out person'. I'm finding out now that both are not true. Thank you Adriene for this wonderfull gift!

    This is the first time I made it 20 days of ANY exercise/ practice without missing a day. It is such a wonderful feeling! Something like making a special connection with yourself, finally becoming friends

    Started doing yoga with Adrienne whilst in lockdown in the UK. Never done online yoga before. I love it now do every morning. Adrienne is a lovely person who explains the asanas with clarity & humour. Thank you for helping me whilst in this surreal situation. I will continue even after lockdown is lifted. Namaste

    2/3 of the way there everyone. I'm on the mat and ready for action. This one looks delicious to do on a "lazy" day. I'm just fascinated of how much of roller coaster 2020 has been so far in this first month. Love the yummy positive vibes, Adriene. It really gets me thinking deeply about how much my body needs this sort of self love. We're nearly home everyone. Time for some gentle self love. Namaste.

    My whole entire life I’ve always tried to make myself smaller, if it wasn’t weight it was the amount of space I would take up, or quieting my voice. Or even trying to physically make my bone structure smaller by never fully stretching my body and just crushing myself into a ball. With all that being said, doing yoga with you everyday has helped me start to learn to take up more space. To allow myself room to grow. It’s so crazy but today was the first time I felt my entire pelvis touch the ground while in Sphinx pose ( you said to widen our legs to allow more room and once I did my pelvis opened up.) it felt so good. Just thank you so much. I will never go back to not doing yoga daily.

    Today on my 28th birthday, I gave myself the gift of waking up early and do this practice. I had a little extra present as I saw the sunrise along with a very thin crescent moon through a beautiful curtain of grey clouds through my window. I was thankful and appreciative for this little moment, and I think your teachings are a big part of the little moment of peace I felt (those are quite rare). Namaste, Adriene.

    2 years later, and I’m trying to complete this 30 day challenge for the 3rd time. I will complete it. I loved today’s practice and it was the 1st time I ever remember sitting in a butterfly position comfortably. I love you and this community so much!

    This is just what I needed today, to shift inward and explore.🙏 I am going through some childhood papers and things at the moment and I was feeling very overwhelmed and found myself having a hard time parting with a lot of them. Today I am going to let go. And keep only the most precious💖 Thank you Adriene (and Benji🦴😁) for giving me support off the mat, too.

    I’ll admit, I fell off the wagon after day 19...not happy about it but it happened! Finishing out the last 10 days strong! It doesn’t matter how many times you fall down in life - what does matter is how many times you got back up!

    I struggled a bit with the side to side movements today, so I moved to child’s pose for a bit, and found stillness. Thank you, Adriene, for teaching us to honor ourselves where we are each day. 🙏🧘🏼‍♀️❤️✌🏻

      It was so hard for me, too! I only could stay through one on each side. I think my obliques haven't gotten any attention since my baby was born.

      @@a.i.firefly7845 I struggled too. Baby is almost 1 now bit this practice helps me building up my core back slowly. I went on my knee for the last couple and it was the compromise that helped me keep up.

    I just finished day 20 today. A little bit behind but hoping to catch up by the end and loving doing it. :) That moment when Benji stares into your soul! He started walking towards the camera and I half hoped he would come join me on my yoga mat. :)

    It was "YogaCamp" program back in 2016 that introduced me to "Yoga With Adriene"
    It was the one and only program I finished LOL
    But this year, my simple workout goal is doing yoga every single day!
    So after finishing "Home", I plan to complete all other 30-day programs!
    Home, 30 Days of Yoga, YogaCamp, Revolution, TRUE, and Dedicate = 6 months of yoga!!!

    Okay day 20! *breathing out* I'm definitely becoming frustrated by my core strength....needing to pause and breathe many times while Adriene would shift from hip to hip, or between plank and cobra. But I know I need to meet myself where I'm at! I think I need to refocus and remember that the goal of this is not be able to do a certain pose or movement, but to simply experience, breathe, and focus on the here and now. Going to keep with this journey, and hopefully continue to grow stronger. I've been writing a comment after each video along the way, as I feel like it helps keep me accountable :) Hope everyone is staying safe!

    I’m leaving from the US on a big trip to Africa for a month. I have had a lot of things to do in preparation and this cleared my thinking.

    I had no idea that just showing up every day would make other aspects of my life change as well. When I don't "do yoga" for exercise or weight loss or with any other goal in mind other than to just show up today, my mind reaps the benefits. Thanks for bringing us on this journey, Adriene!

    Day 20! Good morning/evening everyone!!!!! In my busy hectic life it’s not easy to take the time to be still. Today was simply lush remaining still and focused and to empty my mind of all thoughts of the coming day. I feel like I’m starting the day with a blank canvas. Thank you 🙏

    Today I came to the mat with a heavy and cracked heart. My body and soul were restless all night and all morning. It felt lovely just resting for a moment. Listening to what my body needs from me. I feel the love I should have fully given to myself for the past year. Namaste

    I made a commitment to do complete a 30 day yoga journey this year, I’ve tried a couple of times and normally fail around day 15, but this time I was so eager I started on the first, (with one of Adriene’s other videos) and now for me I’ve done 21 days, I’ve attended a public class, I feel calmer and able to tackle life with more balance emotionally and physically and today I made a decision which will see me taking on a new challenge in my career. I can see that daily yoga will not stop for me on day 31, this is a habit and I’m very grateful to Adriene for creating this platform

    I have never stuck to a challenge like this one, not even the previous YWA challenge. This one feels so manageable to me! I haven't done them every day, but I haven't given up on the challenge. I have wrist and thumb pain, so I need to modify everything from cat/cow, theough plank to downward facing dog. But I show up almost every single day and I love how strong I feel. Keep on going everyone 😎🤩

    I am loving Yoga with Adriene during the shelter at home time. I have never enjoyed or benefited from yoga as it always hurt and I wasn't sure what I was doing. I am learning more and getting fit now. Thank you Adriene for coming into our Homes!

    This session was perfect. I'd disappointingly been feeling a little of the ME fatigue in the last few days. I had to talk myself into showing up today but I am so glad I did. I can feel my strength growing and the moments of stillness were gorgeous. It did take my dogs half the session to become still though. Haha. Thank you Adriene. Have a terrific tuesday everyone.     Yoga helps me channel my strengths. It helps me focus, concentrate on the things that matter and just let go of the unnecessary worries, thoughts and preoccupations. It is a practice where I cultivate the ability to stay present and alert, be the best version of myself while staying calm and collected. Everyday on the mat I build confidence, I take some time to appreciate stillness in motion, relaxation in muscle tension, and disconnection while being fully awake. Thank you, Adriene, for guiding me through this truly empowering practice :)

    Stillness has always unnerved me. I've always said I can't be alone with my thoughts. This is the byproduct of abuse. But today I really enjoyed finding the shape, tuning into the breath and noticing how stillness made me feel. I will take what I learned off the mat today and take time to be still. Thanks for all you do Adriene.
