Im amazed that something that size makes that much heat in a short time , im not so sure about the waste oil thing but im sure you'll figure it out know problem. Your videos are perfect for explaining things .
I was with you all the way until you said you were going to try to burn used motor oil. I encourage you to watch some RUclips videos on others that have done just that. You may want to buy some spare gaskets and learn how to take the heater apart and clean out the crap that is left behind from the waist oil. Then ask yourself is it worth the savings. Great video on getting started with these awesome little diesel heaters. Looking forward to seeing how it works out for you in the colder winter days ahead.
I did this by adding 6' of coiled tube before it exhausted out of my garage. I even added a bend that dipped into a water trough. It recovered too much heat because there was unexhausted water that had condensed in the tube that interfered with the combustion gasses getting out.
PS...don't put a fuel line in the bottom of a tank...it WILL leak. Use a standpipe, draw straw or whatever you want to call it. Many have also had the junky green hose fail.
Will the unit turn on and off by itself like a house furnace? I read a review that claimed this, but would like to know for certain. Thanks for the info!
Don't have the air intake that close to the exhaust! You will suck exhaust fumes into the air inlet and produce carbon monoxide from the air outlet into your workshop.
The combustion air inlet never gets into the workshop, it just gets burned and exhausted. It does make it less efficient though when it's sucking exhaust.....
don't recommend putting it inside the garage but put it outside because you're going to get fixated by diesel you're going to feel light-headed and you're going to get Intoxicated by diesel fumes I recommend putting the unit outside

I am working on editing the used oil burn video right now. It worked great! (crazy)
Other fuels can be used but need good filtering and a blend. Many say 25% to Diesel
good idea with angle on the fuel tank. keeping the outlet a bit higher. avoiding sediment going into fuel line! :)

I only did this once. To many have warned me it is a bad idea, so no more used oil. Thanks for watching
Thank you
You're welcome! Thanks for watching.
If you need to prime a long line...with hose disconnected near heater short tiny bursts of air into tank will pressurize and push it
Guess that would work. Thanks for watching
Jim, maybe add a heat recovery system or device to the exghaust pipe?
I watched a video of a guy that did that. Maybe in another video. Thanks for watching

Question where can you get repairs parts
Never tried to buy any, I think there are some on Amazon

Yes it will if you set it to temperature mode
Check the instructions, if I'm not mistaken the fuel pump should be angled the other way. Not 100% sure but it's worth a look.
Great vid… how much fuel does it use?
i saw a guy doing same with a vevor one and used oil, He damaged the burning chamber, he used 100% used oil.
I saw that too definitely don’t think you can use 100% used oil. Thanks for watching.
Hi, I have two questions. 1. if it smells like diesel from the warm air? 2. how hot does the exhaust hose get?
It smells a little when it lights up, not sure how hot the exhaust is. I think I checked it it the other video I made of it burning used oil.
@DIYJIM thanks 🙏👍
They output about 200-250 deg air
Don't have the air intake that close to the exhaust! You will suck exhaust fumes into the air inlet and produce carbon monoxide from the air outlet into your workshop.
thanks for the tip, I have changed it since the video
@DIYJIM good just need you to be safe. 😊

Unless the exhaust is leaking ya won't notice anything. It's NOT a torpedo heater
