I had the 1.3 95 version. This was very quick and the sound amazing. Sadly Mitsubishi stop to product this car

And the fuel consumption will be about 25mpg compared to 43mpg at 110km

Great, thank you. I own the same car. Bought for my wife. Really like. A good car, low fuel consumption, unexpectedly spacious, with a convertible interior. The rear seats are fully folded or easily and quickly dismantled, the front passenger seat is moved forward, the backrest also leans completely forward. There is a lot of space, you can transport oversized cargo. Tall interior, enough headroom, can fit any tall person. I fell in love with this car, a great car for the city and a small family.
Nice car, spacious, comfortable, reliable, very pratical and very economic car...

Beautiful car. Love these test of affordable cars handled as everyone of us would do. This Mitsubishi was a good car but nowadays most of them seems to be partially destroyed like the first generation of Smart Forfour ( both models shared the engines, advanced and with a very good performances) Good test, thanks!!!!
It's not beautiful imo (appearance wise), but it's clearly a good and reliable car for everyday driving
@@FStan-co8vv You're right. It's a good car with good engines( better petrol than diesel, wich is a rough and noisy engine). The matter is that the cars I've seen with more or less fifteen years of use, have a rather bad aspect. Sun-dull headlights and body with adjust problems (not for accident). May be like the Smart Forfour it's not a car for many years of use....i don't know....

Ich hatte zwei Mitsubishi Colt. Den Ersten, den A150, der mit 70 PS nur 160 km/h schaffte wegen der schlechten Aerodynamik und dann ddie 3.Version, mit 1,6l und 113 PS bei 959 kg Gewicht.
Bergab lief der 225 km/h (nach Tacho) und beschleunigte wirklich gut. Das war ein tolles Auto. Ich habe es mit über 220 tkm und 25 Jahren noch verkauft. Der Motor lief wie ne 1.

It helps that it's a 3 cyclinder motor - they love to rev and once you get them high enough they sound like 6 cylinder motors at idle!

@STEALTH эти тачки комплектуются 1.1, 1.3 и 1.5 моторами. Последний спокойно разгоняет ее до 200. Лично владел таким 6 лет. Ещё у них бывают 1.5 турбо.. точно такие , но спидометр правда другой .. типа под спорт

Hello from the UK , i have a 2007 CZ1 3 door Colt same 1.1 engine but its very odd i can hit 95kmh in 2nd gear at rev limiter and 170kmh in 4th and onto top speed of 200kmh on M40 Motorway here in the UK is it because the 3 door model is a lot lighter due to not have the extra 2 doors at the rear ?

I have the 2008 version, done some mods like new intake system and exhaust etc, manage to get it to 121 mph, also got some weight reduction done to it
I got 190-195 kph as my highest speed in my colt 1.1 (75 hp). but i'm going to beat it till 200 kph when i'm in germany next time. wish me luck guys

I live in Germany and commute from Nürnberg to Mainz. Black 1.1L 2-Door 75hp with a K&N Sportfilter (inlay) and 16” Brock rims and just hit 50tkm. 190km/h max on straights. Taking out the rear seats (again) and would love to find a nice little turbo and exhaust kit for it. Great car. I do recommend the max size wheel/tire combo (or at least low profile) for stability at 170+.
@@fumakage1654 Seems like A3 got almost no speed limit, maybe 10% if the map is correct. If you commute often, a faster car like an A6 would make more sense than maxing out the colt.

У меня такой же 1.3 и я честно говоря удивлён то что эту табуретку разогнали до 180,я больше 130 ее ни когда не разгоняю страшно 😁!Эта тачка очень надёжна и мало расходует топлива каки у любой машины есть свои плюсы и минусы!Но если когда то поменяю ее точно буду вспоминать ее хорошим словом!
210 разгонял на ней , тоже 1.3 движок . Тачка надежная ничего не скажешь ! Неубиваемая даже можно сказать

I've the CZ3 version an 1.3 with 95PK and 950 kg. I love driving with it! For me it's the poor man's Mini Cooper :D

Have you seen how the repairs are done on the cooper?? timing belt is a nightmare...am not found of the central speedo...i like the mitsubishi much better...

I am driving a Vauxhall Corsa C with 1.4 l and 90 hp. Driving it on the German Autobahn is almost the same like this car. Maximum speed is also around 180 km/h. The engine is very loud and you think it is going to explode in the next few seconds. There is a huge difference of driving 180 kmh in such a car in which you think that you fly in a jet or driving 180 km/h in a newer and bigger car such as in my dad's car which is the newest C class of Mercedes Benz with even only the smallest possible 160 hp engine in which you think you cruise casually while driving 180 km/h.

I have a jdm version of this with a bench seat and a column shifter. Its probably the most comfortable Japanese hatchback out there. Its surprisingly stable at high speeds too, but it takes quite a bit of time to get to those speeds lol still a great car and i love it to bits.

I always try lightweight builds (last 2x were PUG 106 and 106 XS). I would like to keep the little, light motor in my colt (1.1l 75hp - 2/3door) and just add a turbo like back then the Daihatsu Charade gtti with a 3 cylinder 1.0l motor and turbo ending with about 101hp. If I ever find a turbo I can fit onto this thing…

75PS from 1.1 litres wasn't too bad for the mid-00s. I had a 1993 Nissan Micra which had 75PS but from 1.3 litres.

Reason those new Corsa's are so slow is because they got fat , the old Corsa's were way faster , do you remember the Mk1 Corsa GSI ? that was a rocket ship
