Measure Resistance and Voltage of 12V Relay WITH MULTIMETER

Determining if a 12V relay or relay is good is vital to solving electrical problems in the car.
With a digital multimeter we can measure the resistance of the coil, whose value should mark between 75 and 120 ohms for a 12V automotive relay.
If the value is very low and close to zero ohms then the relay is shorted but if it measures very high, more than 10 kilo ohms then the relay is open.
It may also be that the relay is fine, but does not activate because it does not have 12V at its ends.
