We're swapping out the exhaust setup for one of my dream exhausts! More JDM goodness from A'PEXi with the N1 Evolution Extreme catback exhaust. This thing is absolutely beautiful and I expect nothing less from A'PEXi! What do you guys think?

Single exit exhaust is such a 90's JDM look that's just simply timeless! Exhaust sounds great as well! Apexi have been in the game for a long time now. They've only grown to develop such amazing high quality products since their first available products. the added exhaust cover from Apexi Definity shows how much attention to detail the development team has.

I got the TRD exhaust on my FRS and now have it on my 860, just a beautiful throaty sound to it.

I added the performance exhaust when I ordered my 23 premium manual. After listening to a few cars on RUclips, with headphones of course, I like the sound. Not even sure if I'll do any upgrades yet, since I'm still waiting for it to arrive. Hoping it arrives by December, but not holding my breath.

@@K03sportright, I will not get the smaller tips design. Looks no where near as good as a large tips that completely fill the bumper.
The dual exit ver. sounds amazing paired with uel headers. No drone. All grins.

damn this looks good! the only thing that discouraged me to get a single exit exhaust was the bad covers available for the gt86 but this one looks amazing and flush!

@@kevinnguyen4293 There is some drone but not enough to bother me. I previously had a Focus ST with catless dp and AWE track catback. This is tame comparatively.

I think as long as the empty hole is covered, single exits can look good!
The single apexi n1 seems like it sounds better than the dual. Seems to have the least of that raspy/tinny sound that most aftermarket exhausts have.
The dual APEXi N1 sounds really good as well. A bit more quiet though.

When you installed, did it have a burning smell? I saw the bit of smoke, which mine had too. I’m new to exhaust installs (was my first one), but went for a drive when I finished and it had almost like a paper burning smell. Is this maybe just the resins/oils and stuff in the manufacture and shipping processes burning off?

Sounds great. Not sure why it needs to be louder or needs moar pipez!? The single exit stands out as long as it's functional. The dual exit or symmetrical look is sort of gaudy since you're not pushing that much exhaust flow.

That's because the rest of the exhaust is stock. With most other exhaust when you change the rest of the exhaust it drones and is too loud.

I absolutely love the new exhaust. So subtle and much more intake noise! Is it 3in pipe?
No, it's 2.5in. You don't really need a 3in exhaust on this car unless you boost it and are looking for big power.
@KevinVo, I keep getting conflicting answers. Some people are saying the new 2.4l loves breathing through 3in exhaust, and some are saying it doesn't need it, lol. 3in gets dumb loud so quickly, I'll probably end up going 2.5in when I finally get something permanent.
Where did you get that lift tho
if I had a set of quick jacks, my wife would be a garage widow..but on second thought, with quick jacks, things I do wouldn't take as long so I would actually get time back as things would get done faster...cannot wait to hear the exhaust under load...just revving seems too tame.

Prefer the Tomei more for the slightly rumble feels, and mostly doesn’t like the single exit. But on general the exhaust sound still very good
I think once I install a new header and front pipe it'll sound even better.

Mostly for sound, although their is some weight savings as well. Any HP gains would be negligible.
What are you going to do with the Tomei exhaust? Gotta ask!

It needs a high performance cat up front to liven up the sound. I just can't see Kevin, (middle name) subtle symmetrical, Vo, living too long with the single exit.

Engine is reliable. Unless you’re tracking the car hardcore and or not maintaining the car properly, you won’t have issues. Don’t let the fear mongering of a couple of cases sway you away from one of the last best affordable ICE sports cars.

Got use the sponsor stuff, but this exhaust is a no no. I would rather use the original. Taking out a Tomei or AWE to install this one is nuts.
I'm not obligated to run their exhaust on my car. I run it because I thoroughly enjoy it. Everyone has different preferences.
This whole changing everything that you had already modified just so that its "JDM" is a bit lame reasoning IMO. but most of the mods do look good, and its your car, do as you please.
Tomei is a JDM brand tho I don't know why he still changed it lol

That looks shit. Twin exit is the only thing that looks good on this car.
I'm not a fan of the quad exit either but a quad exit would look better than this single exhaust.
