We're finally getting rid of the stock wheels and replacing them with some aftermarket wheels! Before we do that though, we're also going to swapping out the stock fender garnish for something a bit different!

Those garnish are one of the most aggressive mods I’ve seen so far, man they look good with the cutout behind the front wheels. The wheels look fantastic too, can’t wait to see it finished with the front splitter and whatever else you have in store, definitely looks worthy of sema

True true diversity is always nice. Probably look pretty sweet with some throw back silver color like back in the late 90s early 2000s days. I’m almost 40 so silver was the thing back in my early car modding days.

I'd like the fender garnishes if they didn't have the red add-on at the top, makes it look a bit chintzy to me. I just went with the APR CF covers.

They certainly don't come cheap haha the stock wheels weigh around 22-22lbs.

The side garnishes are cool, but they would have been 😘 if they came in dry carbon.
...but they are....dry carbon is not how they look. It's how they are made.

Far from stock suspension haha I'm on coilovers and have replaced almost every single control arm 😅
How's the fitment for the 18x9.5? I see that these are +40
It will require some work if you don't want to trim the fenders. I've replaced all my control arms to allow for aggressive fitments.

I really like carbon on white cars, but I don't like white cars. Lol
I'd probably paint one of these orange. Or wrap it, but either way, I think carbon would still be okay in places on any color.
@@Magnosummit I have a white 23 BRZ, just put the HKS splitter, carbon Varis skirts, and have a carbon Zebulon Swan Neck on order....might have to get these garnishes as the finishing touch.
@@Bones12x2 I think Voltex has the cleanest splitter/skirt/spoiler combo, but they're pretty pricey. I looked up the stuff you've got and they all still look really cool. I hope you like how it looks once you've got that spoiler on it! I like the swan neck style, but I haven't seen one I really like for the BRZ/86 yet.
Bro. Just my 2 cents. Your channel will keep declining if you don’t change the type of your content bro. This ‘new wheel’, ‘new bumper’, ‘new shiftnob’ are not the type of content me personally is looking for at least. It’s just more suitable for the ricer type of audience(May be more suitable for the old gen owners). But man the gr86 and the new brz definitely has a more mature type of feel that you would need to amp up the sophistication of your content bro. May be more engineering aspect, more of driving physics aspect, more of technical issues and fixes aspect,… would work. But this as of now… I don’t even click the link bro. Everyone has the right to their opinion, but to call the content for the "ricer audience" is distasteful to me. I appreciate your constructive criticism, however, the channel has been rapidly growing with the content I've been producing. I pride myself in sharing detailed install processes for the majority of the products I install and I truly believe that helps the community feel more comfortable working on their cars no matter their experience. If you're looking for technical engineering explanations on things than this is not the right channel for you as I'm not an engineer. I'm just a car enthusiast having fun with my car 🤷♂️
