Vitamin E has been a life saver for me. He says that studies show there is no effect when it comes to use on the skin. My personal experience (and that of many others) says very differently. I have had eczema for most of my life and vitamin E overnight healed one of my worst bouts. I challenge his take on this in a big way.
im not sure abt this episode, cuz ive been using vit e cream for years now, it relief my skin irritation, as much as a skin brightening ingredients, plus keep my skin supple with no excessive oil buildup, its my go to product for any skin issues...if you ask for a fast result, dont use vit e, but if u want a slowly but surely anti aging product, vit e is my answer.

There's % population that have contact dermatitis so skin reacts negatively to high dosage of Vit E. 3. @@danyelo9032 for me within the 1st week I can see a difference in my complexion. But in small amounts bc, like what was said in the video, it can irritate the skin. After applying the rest of ur moisturizer routine, I apply a bit on each area of my skin in which it is needed & pat it in the skin.
My aunt used vitamin E when she first became diagnosed with vitiligo .. and it’s the best thing ever! Her skin is soft and even. Just beautiful. But we use the capsule from, puncture and release the oil.

I use vitamin E oil from the capsules on my scar from an accident. It does help alot, it is starting to fade. Don't expect it work overnight, consistency will get you results. I sometimes mix it with coco butter.

Body shop the toner plus the mask, I don't apply the oil on face, body OK. When oil on face keep it Rose hip, Calendula, Marula, jojoba, coconut can't be applied to face too oily it's for hair body. Oh latest is Squalene oil. Take care. Sunblock no 15 just won't do no more, 50 to 75. Tip if u end up sweating all your sunblock off coz I live in Hong Kong so hot. Go into a cosmetic store, drug store, and as for the sunblock section. Apply as if testing and it works. Plus if u put sunblock water proof sweat proof. U must double cleanse yup. I use an Oil u must wash off the sunblock first. Den scrub, peel, wash another's the round. I have great skin I gate to say this, simple don't wear make up. I just don't like it, coz I'm o.c.d. clean. Simple money does pay off no Botox no way. I'm 44 I got my face lasered, no freckles lines for I hope for life. I get my eyelash done 3D, so no mascara, Don't style it hair crimp bleach die. I look good Coz I don't pile up chemicals on my face. Simple brow brush clear mascara. I truly agree with this. I have sensitive skin and i used vit e moisturiser before. After a month, I stop using it because my skin feel so irritated 👀 and it’s so hard for a student to keep vit c refrigerated 🤭. Ngl i feel jealous on people who have a great experience with vit e. Well for me it's the ONLY thing out there that does not irritate my face. I've tried many kinds of brands, even those that's made for sensitive skin but they all give me this hot burning sensation after applying. I used to think that sensation meant it was 'fixing' my skin when it was literally the other way round. Anyway back to the vitamin e oil, I never expected anything when i bought it but i noticed it didnt give me the hot sensation others do. So i use it everyday..as a face moisturizer. I didn't notice but my skin actually got so much clearer. I usually apply right after shower when my skin is soaked, that way it makes it easier to spread. I'm looking forward to try other vitamin e oils brands..
I thought I was the only one that had that burning sensation with certain creams! lol I never thought of myself having any sort of sensitivity in my skin, but after this, I dont think I will be using these burning creams anymore. Thank you!
Ive had stretch marks on my tummy from my child…. She is 5…once i started using vitamin E oil that I got from while foods, my marks started fading… im now using a 28,000 IU cream on a scar i got from burning myself on the stove and it seems to be healing quickly

Yup. Sama la sis, sy guna moisturiser cosmoderm je kat perut sepanjang pregnancy. Alhamdulillah takde stretch marks. Skin care pun pakai luminous pearl set. Alhamdulillah pun elok jugak. Tp sy setuju je dengan apa yg doktor cakap. Plus, vitamin E ni light-sensitive vitamin. Dengan kata mudah, vitamin akan rosak kalau terdedah dgn cahaya matahari. Sy sendiri pun tak faham kenapa company cosmoderm buat clear bottle packaging utk produk2 vitamin E (jenis oil). Patutnya packaging pakai brown bottle tu (boleh compare dgn standard produk vitamin E kat pharmacy mcm Garden of Eden, etc). Mcm yg sis atas ni reply, sy pun rasa doktor hanya refer pada produk spesifik sahaja. Biasa la, setiap company ada flagship product dan kebetulan produk yg doktor review ni la flagship product bagi cosmoderm (major revenue dari produk ni most probably). Kita sebagai pengguna berhak memilih dengan bijak. Anyway, sy support je cosmoderm sebab ni local company and halal-certified. Produk2 nya pun sy suka pakai. Cuma produk yg oil2 memang sy tak beli (dah try n tak suka sebab packaging concern issue tu and oil-type ni rasa melekit post application). My (humble )personal suggestion, sis boleh try guna vitamin E cream (1,000 i.u.) sahaja. Apply daily, preferably lepas mandi n sebelum tidur (this is what i did during my last pregnancy). InshaAllah it will works wonderfully to you 🙂 Sometimes, less is more. Tapi kalau sis rasa nasihat sy ni tak ok, sis boleh amalkan rutin sis semula (cream+ oil). Tak salah mencuba sis, mana tahu kesan apply cream sama je dgn kesan apply cream+oil (u can save a lot of money in a long run). Anyway, sy doakan yg terbaik utk sis. All the best 🙂
So, I understand that you're saying it doesn't work, however, I was using it along with ti tree essential oil and it helped my skin tremendously. I've used ti tree essential oil on it's own- for it's anti-microbial and anti-fungal properties - and it didn't have the same effect. I used vitamin e with rose essential oils for it's hydrating properties and then used it with sweet almond oil - and the former was better for my skin. So I'm not debunking your theory, but I am disagreeing with you because it really did help my skin alot.
Curve ball for you: clinical studies are financed right? Are they ultimately done for the greater pursuit of the truth only or also done for ulterior motives only? Would it be wise to say that it could be both?... now, I been prescribed antidepressants for most of my life until I found testosterone. Antidepressants hid the symptoms... testosterone injection cured all the symptoms I had for me. Depression free for years now and no more anxiety which I had on a daily basis before with panic attacks. A wise person would understand the correlation I am making now.

Totally wish I had watched this BEFORE ordering my vitamin E oil about a week ago. 100% oil put on legs after shaving and have had a rash (bright red spots) for about 4-5 days. 🤦🏼♀️ 47,500 IU’s
I had the exact same issue with vitamin e oil! My legs were getting super tangly and itchy it was not a nice feeling. And it gave weird spots. I now use shea butter and i love it on my legs!

Here from ig story. I support you dr. Cosmoderm should take this advice from a professional dermatologist to better their products. When their products are good, surely dr inkey would recommend it again.
I recently started experimenting with vitamin E for skin care of my face and after about 6 weeks I see clear beneficial results. BUT, I didn't buy a creme, I bought organic palm oil. It's rich in vitamin E, and maybe more importantly, in the kinds of vitamin E (vitamin E is a complex) that I understand is more effective as an antioxidant. There can be many explanations why this topical treatment works to well for me, that I'm not aware of. Other alkaloids present in the organic palm oil for one. But since the different kinds of vitamin E isn't addressed in the video - I thought it worth mentioning. Science is great, I would love some links to the scientific publications you mention. How ever, organic cold pressed palm oil has work great for me, my skin is smoother my facial pores are contracted and my skin glows a bit. I stopped using tea tree oil a couple of years age, it didn't work wonders for me - but I loved the smell! Maybe I'll get some organic tea tree oil and mix it with my palm oil. :)
I also suggest that you google it yourself. His credentials as a doctor is more than enough already. Plus he's not imposing his knowledge to us anyway. But if you still doubt it, then maybe you should research it yourself. If you are generous enough then you may share your gathered info here.

Science and medicine , like everything, is not perfect and doesn’t have a clear cut answer on everything.

I have to disagree with the assessment of vitamin e cream in this video. I live in Canada thus we have long cold winters. I put vitamin e cream on at night and it helps soothe my red dry skin. My skin feels so soft and smooth by the morning. Nothing better than vitamin e cream for dry skin.

I develop horrible dermatitis with contact with Vitamin E. The last time it was a lip gloss that seemed really lovely. I used it twice and within a few days my face swelled up so bad my eyes almost swelled SHUT! I had to go on steroids and it took 4 weeks before I looked anything like normal again.;

Sir, you are totally wrong. I have had Acne & Rosacea issues for years, and have tried countless products to no avail. Someone suggested Vitamin E cream, ( I was having a particularly bad outbreak at the time), so I tried it. Overnight my condition went away, and hasn’t come back ( with continued use). It also took care of some small scaly lesions that wouldn’t heal. So, don’t know where your research studies came from. But it’s wrong.

i dont think it is a problem because if you watch any other dermatologist or anyone talking about skincare it’s always like that. besides that, it’s his channel to begin with.
I used new york skin solution before i used tdf product from uk . But my acne gone bad to worst.. then i use cosmoderm for cleanser .. and serum vit c.. and my skin has really show a lot of improvement.. diff people has different preference..

Saya pernah guna cosmoderm vit E. Saya guna sebab nak hilangkan parut kesan daripada chicken pox. Tapi condition kulit makin teruk, area yang saya letak vit E tu kulit jadi tebal keras dan merah. Saya terus stop guna any cosmoderm product after that huhu
I knew there was a reason I hated Vitamin E on the skin. If I see it anywhere near the first ingredients on a skincare product I avoid it. It's just too oily.

My use of vitamin e pure oil together with organic virgin oil reduced my hyperpigmentation by 85%it has faded so much my skin feels and looks amazing

After a month, I stop using it because my skin feel so irritated 👀 and it’s so hard for a student to keep vit c refrigerated 🤭. Ngl i feel jealous on people who have a great experience with vit e. Well for me it's the ONLY thing out there that does not irritate my face. I've tried many kinds of brands, even those that's made for sensitive skin but they all give me this hot burning sensation after applying. I used to think that sensation meant it was 'fixing' my skin when it was literally the other way round.
Anyway back to the vitamin e oil, I never expected anything when i bought it but i noticed it didnt give me the hot sensation others do. So i use it everyday..as a face moisturizer. I didn't notice but my skin actually got so much clearer. I usually apply right after shower when my skin is soaked, that way it makes it easier to spread. I'm looking forward to try other vitamin e oils brands..
I thought I was the only one that had that burning sensation with certain creams! lol I never thought of myself having any sort of sensitivity in my skin, but after this, I dont think I will be using these burning creams anymore. Thank you!
Ive had stretch marks on my tummy from my child…. She is 5…once i started using vitamin E oil that I got from while foods, my marks started fading… im now using a 28,000 IU cream on a scar i got from burning myself on the stove and it seems to be healing quickly

Yup. Sama la sis, sy guna moisturiser cosmoderm je kat perut sepanjang pregnancy. Alhamdulillah takde stretch marks. Skin care pun pakai luminous pearl set. Alhamdulillah pun elok jugak.

Patutnya packaging pakai brown bottle tu (boleh compare dgn standard produk vitamin E kat pharmacy mcm Garden of Eden, etc). Mcm yg sis atas ni reply, sy pun rasa doktor hanya refer pada produk spesifik sahaja. Biasa la, setiap company ada flagship product dan kebetulan produk yg doktor review ni la flagship product bagi cosmoderm (major revenue dari produk ni most probably). Kita sebagai pengguna berhak memilih dengan bijak.
Anyway, sy support je cosmoderm sebab ni local company and halal-certified. Produk2 nya pun sy suka pakai. Cuma produk yg oil2 memang sy tak beli (dah try n tak suka sebab packaging concern issue tu and oil-type ni rasa melekit post application). Plus, sy rasa item ni overpriced n overrated (because of the '30,000 i.u.' highlight).

My (humble )personal suggestion, sis boleh try guna vitamin E cream (1,000 i.u.) sahaja. Apply daily, preferably lepas mandi n sebelum tidur (this is what i did during my last pregnancy). InshaAllah it will works wonderfully to you 🙂 Sometimes, less is more. Tapi kalau sis rasa nasihat sy ni tak ok, sis boleh amalkan rutin sis semula (cream+ oil). Tak salah mencuba sis, mana tahu kesan apply cream sama je dgn kesan apply cream+oil (u can save a lot of money in a long run).
Anyway, sy doakan yg terbaik utk sis. All the best 🙂
So, I understand that you're saying it doesn't work, however, I was using it along with ti tree essential oil and it helped my skin tremendously. I've used ti tree essential oil on it's own- for it's anti-microbial and anti-fungal properties - and it didn't have the same effect. I used vitamin e with rose essential oils for it's hydrating properties and then used it with sweet almond oil - and the former was better for my skin. So I'm not debunking your theory, but I am disagreeing with you because it really did help my skin alot.
My skin also works well with the vitamin e oil,, maybe majority of people have problem with it

Totally wish I had watched this BEFORE ordering my vitamin E oil about a week ago. 100% oil put on legs after shaving and have had a rash (bright red spots) for about 4-5 days. 🤦🏼♀️ 47,500 IU’s
I had the exact same issue with vitamin e oil! My legs were getting super tangly and itchy it was not a nice feeling. And it gave weird spots. I now use shea butter and i love it on my legs!

Idk… I like it. I mix vitamin e oil with my daily moisturizer or almond oiland it worked well for me and I noticed my acne scars disappear and helped with dry skin in my body💁🏾♀️ maybe it just me.

@@moonmoon1019 there is actually a few studies that shows that applying high dose Vit E and not applying it shows similar results to the scars. However it is great that your scars actually reduced.

I recently started experimenting with vitamin E for skin care of my face and after about 6 weeks I see clear beneficial results. BUT, I didn't buy a creme, I bought organic palm oil. It's rich in vitamin E, and maybe more importantly, in the kinds of vitamin E (vitamin E is a complex) that I understand is more effective as an antioxidant. There can be many explanations why this topical treatment works to well for me, that I'm not aware of. Other alkaloids present in the organic palm oil for one. But since the different kinds of vitamin E isn't addressed in the video - I thought it worth mentioning. Science is great, I would love some links to the scientific publications you mention. How ever, organic cold pressed palm oil has work great for me, my skin is smoother my facial pores are contracted and my skin glows a bit. I stopped using tea tree oil a couple of years age, it didn't work wonders for me - but I loved the smell! Maybe I'll get some organic tea tree oil and mix it with my palm oil. :)

Yes, you can see it..improvement. It helped me a lot. Scars are not the same as just face skin. It help me with psoriasis.
I suggest dr ingky cites some references to further prove the myth of vitamin e for anti aging. Maybe give us links from reliable articles.
I also suggest that you google it yourself. His credentials as a doctor is more than enough already. Plus he's not imposing his knowledge to us anyway. But if you still doubt it, then maybe you should research it yourself. If you are generous enough then you may share your gathered info here.

Science and medicine , like everything, is not perfect and doesn’t have a clear cut answer on everything.

I have to disagree with the assessment of vitamin e cream in this video. I live in Canada thus we have long cold winters. I put vitamin e cream on at night and it helps soothe my red dry skin. My skin feels so soft and smooth by the morning. Nothing better than vitamin e cream for dry skin.

I develop horrible dermatitis with contact with Vitamin E. The last time it was a lip gloss that seemed really lovely. I used it twice and within a few days my face swelled up so bad my eyes almost swelled SHUT! I had to go on steroids and it took 4 weeks before I looked anything like normal again.;

I have had Acne & Rosacea issues for years, and have tried countless products to no avail.
Someone suggested Vitamin E cream, ( I was having a particularly bad outbreak at the time), so I tried it.
Overnight my condition went away, and hasn’t come back ( with continued use).
It also took care of some small scaly lesions that wouldn’t heal.
So, don’t know where your research studies came from.
But it’s wrong.

I used new york skin solution before i used tdf product from uk . But my acne gone bad to worst.. then i use cosmoderm for cleanser .. and serum vit c.. and my skin has really show a lot of improvement.. diff people has different preference..

I knew there was a reason I hated Vitamin E on the skin. If I see it anywhere near the first ingredients on a skincare product I avoid it. It's just too oily.
