I see a lot of well produced videos about lighting but they usually know more about producing trendy videos than they know about lighting. You did a great job here!

😊 I took my team’s head shot using what I learned in this video. I used a speedlite on a diffused reflective umbrella, canon m6mkii with sigma 30mm lens, all bought 2nd hand from the socmed marketplace.

I like what you do with wraparound lighting. I will try your method. I'm also interested in rim lighting, but I can't get the look right when I place my soft box directly behind the subject and point it at the camera. Do you have a video that addresses this?

A great tutorial. I learned a lot. But the links in the description don't go to what was used in the video.

Why are you fixing your main light source beam directly on the model? Aiming the center of the beam of your main light directly at the model a basic set up. A more advanced photographer would know to use the edge of the beam to light the model and use the center of the beam to fill the reflector. At that distance you can exert greater control over the amount of fill by varying the angle of the main light as it strikes the reflector. Without changing the distance you can change the value (power) you are getting from the reflector.
