Best thing was meeting you in person sending you a coupke cheapo snes games / bits to compete games that you needed and being a vlog that my Mrs tolerates because of the family side that you’re so proud of (and rightly so) I came to Retro Ghetto when I think it was a lot of 360 type content and the 2nd ever iteration of the room? Was a good while ago but it’s going from strength to strength I love to see the the growth of the channel the happiness it clearly brings people and viewers stepping in here and there to help you out. You know why we do it? Because you’re a genuine family man who loves his games and loves sharing his passion and knowledge and that resonates deeply more than ever as we can feel the authenticity and the love and want to give it back. Started watching in early 2023, found a load of video game collecting/hunting channels but RG is the only one i still watch. Think thats because the others uploaded too often and were just the same thing over and over, its also because you just seem really down to earth.

Glad the package arrived safely and am happy to help your collection grow. I found your channel through Theo's. I started collecting vintage toys a few years back and I found out about so many different toy lines through his channel that I never knew existed. Game collecting is my no. 1 hobby though and I started following you after he visited your game room.
I'm also chasing Sunset Riders. It very rarely shows up here and when it does it is prohibitively expensive. Seems to be many more copies floating around the UK and Germany.

It’s been a great year and for me the highlight was the arrival of Ghetto Junior 2.0. When a new arrival comes along it’s a cause for celebration.
It’s also been good getting to know you more over the course of the year and seeing the channel grow and grow. A real inspiration for me going forward, 2024 the year I move away from the safety of the ol’ pickup video.
As for playing games it’s been a poor year for me. Though 2024 is going to be an improvement. That’s being said I had a blast getting stuck into Fire Shark.
Anyways take it easy Callum and I’ll hopefully catch up with you in 2024.

Looking back I think I started watching your channel back in feb or so.
I had just started proper collecting 6 months or so before and used your channel as a reference and inspiration. Had never recalled charity hunter and used Cex before . It’s been a great year and have very much enjoyed sharing in your year too :)
Also picked up a few games off your recommendations and all have been bangers . My top game of the year was botw for me. Took me the best part of 6 months to finish but so good .

I found your channel about six or seven months ago and became addicted. Funny thing though, I have no interest in computer games, I collect comics, but its the way you created and developed the 3.0 over time has given me ideas for my upcoming Comic Book Room 3.0. I have over 20k comics (contained in 13 (soon to be 14) black filing cabinets and other 'stuff' I will be moving in 2024.

I suspect the days of picking up steelbooks and limited editions for the same price as the standard game at CeX may be coming to an end. I picked up the steelbook of Bioshock a few weeks ago for £1.50. At that price, why not? Went in the same store today and it's now listed as the "Tin Edition" for £4. Standard edition is still £1.50. If they're doing that for a low value, 15 year old game then I imagine they'll do the same for most other steelbooks. Definitely seeing more on the shelves priced separately. A shame, as the chance of finding one of these for the standard price is one of the few reasons I go into a CeX these days.
What with the price increase on delivery and their persistence in charging multiple times for postage when shipping multiple items in the same parcel it feels like CeX are really tightening loopholes and squeezing every penny.

your leaky window has not been sealed correctly by the builders. It shouls have silicone sealant both in and outside the building. you can fix this yourself quite easily and will cost you under a tenner. sealant gun and a tube of sealant and 15 mins. suprised its not leaked before now but it does take horizontal rain to show leaks. im not a glazier by trade, i speak from experience. keep on keepin on brother.

Managed to build up cex vouchers throughout the year and finally had enough t for a PS5 and some games so my final game of the year to complete is Hogwarts Legacy (what a game!), although it will probably be early days in Jan by the time I complete the main story and already nearly 40 hours in with all the side quests etc...
