The Canon CP1500 can also print instax sized photos as well as tiny sticker photos just in case somebody wondered about that. I hope to find a good black Friday deal on it next week 🤞

A good alternative to the index tabs are book darts! A recent discovery for me and are an instant favourite. They're also thin metal tabs, but don't protrude from the book - useful for me since I carry my journal with me often and don't want tabs snagging in my bag. I use them for books as well, for marking passages that I can then write in my commonplace book or reading journal. Some of my favourite books have book darts in them permanently, pointing to favourite scenes.
I also use book darts! I forgot to mention them in this video but they’re also nice little page markers, I’ve been meaning to use them for reading (which I think is their intended purpose)

I love my Selphy cp 1500 and the selphy square. They're both great investments, I think. However I also bought some stickers label sheets and will print from a regular printer on those for things like book covers or podcast covers to put in my journals.

when you said that pencil costs $45 my heart nearly stopped because i KNOW i would lose it somehow lolol i'm very proud that you still know where it is, especially because of the size
haha yes it is pretty tiny! Having a pencil case where I always put my stuff definitely helps
That little pencil clip is a unique way to reuse brass shell casings.

That’s a great idea, they would be such a lovely gift!
So even with that instax you can edit your photos so that they come out not grainy looking it’s kind of a pain to have to edit them sometimes if you’re doing a few of them at the time but they don’t have to be grainy, but if that’s what you like then you know it’s not broke don’t fix it.
I have a couple of printers myself and I love them. You can use the cannon to print other sizes as well.
I am using the Selphy Square by Canon and absolutely loving it!

😮I've never seen writing smaller than half a 5mm grid. That's some small notes. 👍🏻Those Midori tabs are superb. I use them a lot too. I do want a portable photo printer but just cannot make my mind up as to which one to get.
actually the pictures from the canon cp1500 are supposed to last for 1000 years! It's mentioned on the canon site :) and it's possible to select different sizes, e.g. similar to instax. But, cp2500 isn't travel friendly.

I love the Uniball One F's body as well haha. It feels surprisingly premium for a rather not-so-pricy pen, and they come in washed-out colors too which is great. The original refill though, I just have to admit I do not really like. I've been using the ones originally used by the Signo 207? I think. Which ones do you use?
I use zebra sarasa refills in 0.5mm in the colour brown grey! And yesss there’s v solid for a plastic pen body! Also love the clip!
Do you know of thin glossy photo papers? Like the ones used for magazines?
I’ve only used canon photo paper, I’m not sure they make anything that thin

Do you find the cost of photos to add up for the Canon Selphy? Especially in Canada where our deals are worse haha. Just wondering what your experience is. I’m wondering if I should just go for a normal printer and get photosheets
Hmmmm I haven’t run a cost analysis of printer vs selphy bc I didn’t want to replace my laser printer/buy a new one. It probably depends on how many photos you print, as well as space! The selphy is much smaller than a standard printer so also something to consider
can I know what refill you use for the uni-ball pen? cause mine dried up after only a few usages.

I have the selph cp1500 and the photos are always dark and with a blue ish tone...kinda disapointed
I find they can lean blue too, so if a photo has a really blue photo, I edit it to be a little less saturated and I find that helps

This particular TSL case is my most favorite ones of ALL the ones BK / TSL has EVER made! 🤎 It holds so much PLUS it just looks GORGEOUS.. 🤎 ACTUALLY I was waiting for the undyed one to be re-stocked at "Nomado Store"- BUT after seeing yours, I guess I'm going for the "tan" one as well 🤔 It matches the Camel TN perfectly! 🤎
Ordering from BK (when you're based in Germany) has been gotten even MORE expensive now which is actually TRAGIC since there isn't another shop I like THAT much 🥺 Basically EVERYTHING they offer, every brand & especially their "own" BK artifacts / TSL collabos are just AMAZING 🥹 I'm even excited to receive the "BK Love Letter" every month 😅
I recently got that same Instax printer - and bc it's my VERY first bluetooth printer ever PLUS the refills are quite pricey, I thought I'm going to choose this particular one since it's A BIT less expensive than the other INSTAX ones and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE it! 🥰 Adding personal pictures to your journal spreads makes memory keeping SO MUCH more fun! ❤ Also got the matching Instax CASE for it, really recommend getting it❣️GREAT for storing your printer / taking it with you when traveling ❤ It also LOOKS VERY PRETTY & I like how well it protecs your Instax since they're using some kind of hardplastic "underneath" that lovely fabric! ❤
