Hi from Maryborough Qld. My Mum has recently gone into a nursing home, fortunately we can continue to visit. The staff are all friendly and caring, and our family are grateful for them every day. So thank you to carers who do such a difficult, important job every day.

The most underrated PTX song. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday because the focus of it is to give Thanks. For me this song hits home as both a Christmas song and a Thanksgiving song.
Taking the music of Jingle Bells and completely re-interpreting it into this brilliant piece of music is simply pure genius. They've used Kevin's cello on several of their tracks over the years, but the addition of Scott's piano is icing on the cake. And a special cameo by Kirstie's three dogs, including the adorable little Floof (if you watch the various PTX behind the scenes videos, you'll get to know Floof really well) was the amazing final touch! You're reaction was exactly like mine the first time I heard it...and I'm a 56-year-old former American football player!!
I wanted to also add one last but most important message and that is, I work in a hospital specifically with Cancer patients and I can tell you it has been so very hard with COVID trying to take care of our patients that are not only dealing with this sometimes deadly illness but also having to deal with this new outbreak! So THANK YOU PTX for giving me and so many others the strength, courage, and the hope to keep fighting!!!

Yup..you had me 😭😭😭...All my family got covid-19 in November...it's the scariest time I've ever been through..the knowing one of us or all may not make it ...we were very sick but thankfully we are all doing ok now after five weeks...I am so grateful and thankful for my daughters, nurses and doctors who got us through this...we are so blessed 🙏🙏...I loved your reaction ❤️...thank you for everything you do ❤️💕

This was without a doubt the best reaction I have seen to this song. I have been listening to and watching reactions to this, and now Morrisette's new single, for the last week or so and both have hit me pretty hard in the feels. This will be my third Christmas since losing my wife of 26 years. The holidays were always a joyful time for us and now they rip my heart out. Both of these songs have driven home one thing, never miss an opportunity to let those in your life know how you feel about them. I thought my wife and I had many years ahead of us since she was only 47. But, we expressed our love for each other every time we spoke, that is the one thing that sustains me. The line that hits hardest is, "Like the winter leaves, I can't survive without your light."

Working as a physician at an emergency hospital in Sweden I myself am thankful for colleagues and comrades during this hell of a Year with the same insight as you give proof to us in your reaction. I’ve been a nurse for 36 years and have never, never seen anything like this before. It’s a tragedy that people cannot be together in their darkest hours and the most trying times of their lives all because of this virus. I have had to take phone calls where family members are begging to be able to come in and see their loved ones in the hospital and have to tell them no. Older people were often times isolated even before this year and this has just made it even worse. It’s hard to watch. Worse is having to FaceTime with family when their loved one is dying. I feel your distress. This beautiful song just allows you to let the tears flow and release all that sadness while promising a better tomorrow and allowing us to thank those in our lives who have made it even a little better.
