Part 1 is here: • Build: Mid-Century Nig...
The night stands are DONE! In this episode I finish building the drawers and drawer pulls, and do the final sanding and finishing with wipe on polyurethane. Then I get these bedside tables into the bedroom and OUT OF MY SHOP! Leave your questions below for the Q&A video I'll post in a week or two.

I loved this series. Shorter, well produced installments the stayed to a single theme. Excellent!
Sweet build! Thanks for sharing!
Wow, love everything about them. Design, wood selection, use of grain in finished look and your videos.

As a born-n-raised Santa Cruz native, it’s great to see someone back home killing it.. The end result is amazing and super clean. Stoked that I found your channel. Good work bro!
So good... I watched a couple parts and got sucked into binge-watching the whole series. Thank you for the amazing content!
Blake, hats off to you, your work ethic, and your positive attitude. I've particularly enjoyed watching the craftsmanship of your editing grow and mature with each video.

Really impressive - probably the best looking night stands I have ever seen. Great use of the grain patterns.

Fantastic build! I have definitely enjoyed your videos, more work less talk, explaining the important things. I think the angled banding was a perfect solution and it turned out great! Cant wait to see your next project.

Rikk Annis thank you!
Great job on the night stands and I believe you have my stapler.
Ohhh, man, I could have used those boxes - I need a pair of nightstands! Beautiful pieces of furniture - looking forward to more projects!
Paul Weissich lol sorry! They’re still in my recycle bin if you want to grab them lol.
OK this editing was fantastic and made me laugh when you got to the polyurethane slow motion with the dramatic music shift. That is just fun.
Your work is spectacular and meticulous
Violent ending!
Full screen with headphones, great build.
roubaix1962 Awesome ;)
Great series of videos. You are however, probably glad to see them finished.
fcschoenthal thank you! Yes totally.
Nice project. Nice video. Thanks
Bert Hatton thank you!
I could imagine different kind of wood ( dark one ) for the legs on your night stand to be used to add some contrast.
Love the handles!
Way Woodworking thanks a lot!
Absolutely beautiful nightstands!! Being a child born in the fifties I remember “mid century” furniture being everywhere, even in our own home. But I can honestly say that I’ve never seen furniture built in that time that could hold a candle to what you built! It all came from Sears or Montgomery Wards. Works of art they are. Your stuff, not the Sears and Wards stuff I mean.😊
Hooper57 haha thanks man!
Nice design my man.
Ah, come on! After a year of faithful service as night stands, that’s how you reward those cardboard boxes? LOL!. I did the same thing years ago. My yellow lab loved them because she could get at my socks to her hearts delight. In the end, it was to the trash can they went.
Kidding aside, great work! Love the grain on the drawer fronts and the retro style is really nice. Great work Blake!
James Davis thank you!
Good work! Even with dust collection attached to the sander, I’d still use a respirator/dusk mask especially if you have the garage door closed.
Joshua Downey that dust collector is so efficient on my sander that you can’t even smell the sawdust. I’m pretty sensitive to it so I always mask up when I need to.
Ok Mr. Webber you are my new favorite woodworking youtuber. I'm not sure if you have seen Steve Ramsay woodworking for mere mortals but that guy is pretty funny and has a lot of cool projects. But the boxes at the end of you video was special for me. Thinking of the movie office space the guys taking a fax out to a field and smashing it up its seemed like I was the movies over again and I love that movie so thank you. Those are amazing cabinets and the time and effort you put in to them makes them priceless. Truly an amazing nice job
Thank you! Yes and Steve only lives about an hour away from me too.
You deserve wayyy more views. I subscribed after I saw your first video, of building your workshop. Your videos are quality, editing is outstanding, great engagement and personality for any audience and your craftsmanship and skill is impeccable. I hardly ever leave comments but this here sir, provoked one to encourage you to keep them coming! Thanks my friend!
Joshua Garza thanks a ton man! My channel grows slowly because I can’t post too regularly.
For the first time I miss school a little bit and it's because of woodshop...I have a bowl drying in my locker right now 😂
Glad i found your channel.
Me too!
Nice tribute to office space at the end there 😂😂
Lovely
Ronna Keil thank you!
Came across your series from another video I saw on night stands and the figure of those night stands caught my eye! Pun intended, lol! I have to say I loved the series, and you have a new fan from South Australia here! Keep up the great work, Fergal 👌🏻
Awesome, thanks!
Great build series! Any plans or future video on that bed? Love it too.
scott shevlin not unless I build another one some day. Did you watch part one? I mention it there.
Loved the journey, inspired!... nice kung-fu on the boxes!
G DC thanks!
a little "Office Space" at the end nice.
Had to do it.
i been watching this build from the beginning. they are absolutely beautiful. you did such an excellent job on them.its so good to see how awesome they turned out..im sure you wouldnt but, i think you could sell those for some serious money. i always look forward to your videos.keep up the killer work
Doug Johnson thank you so much! I have sold my work in the past and don’t have the desire to do it ever again.
The ending was friggin' hilarious! I wasn't laughing until the last 10 seconds, and your second go at hating on those cardboard boxes, yah the angry stare with those bitchin' glasses on, just made me LOL. f-ing great, I'm enjoying your attention to detail, Blake. Thank you. 2-day old subscriber, and I look forward to learning more from you brotha.
Glen Haas awesome lol thanks!
AMAZING WORK!!! I just came across your channel. I watched the into, then sled vid and then jumped to this one. I have to go and watch them all from the beginning.
I know you can't answer my biggest question right now, and that's 'How in the frack can anyone thumbs down this vid?'
LOL they probably missed! Thanks!!!
Beautiful Work! Just discovered your channel! Subed!
CCS and Sons Workshop great thank you!
Nice!
Brian Fedie Thanks!
Love the ending lol
Roostercluck 95 Thanks ;)
Brilliant! I loved this whole series, from the thoughtful design videos to the step-by-step implementation. Since you might be answering questions, curious if you did anything to cover the screw heads behind the drawer fronts, or is it just something you'd never notice? Really awesome work Blake!
Jared Hubbell short answer: no. I’ll put that in t he Q&A vid though, thanks!
cool~!
Good shit man! I'm up in SF and impressed with your work and shop in SC. Might have to make the move myself haha. Better waves that way anyways 🤙🏻
Aaron Tourtellot thanks!
I just found your channel. I'm a very new subscriber. 3 days ago or so dig your content. Impressive small shop .lots of inspiration. Have ? I noticed an incra miter sled on the wall to the left of the garage door but you seem to gravitate to your home made cross cot sled.i also just found when you got it.
It looks amazing. Great job. Maybe next you could make a similar style wooden lamp?
Zdunchyk is like to do a lamp some day.
Un grand bravo ! 🤟 Je me suis abonné 😊
Thank you!
frickin nice..
Thank you!
this video was good all the way to the end of the project
dessertaz gotcha! Thank you!
You do some nice work. Love ambrosia maple! How many coats of wipe on poly did u go with
Blake,
I watch the camper build and was impressed, very nice job. You are going to enjoy the Blackstone too I have had the 36 for 7 or 8 years and I love it.
I noticed in the nightstand build you have a Inca LS positioner. I have one on order as well as the miter 5000. I ordered the router table on the right side and I noticed you hqve it on the left side. I have no idea what I want. Can you talk a bit about why and you thoughts about this?
Thanks
Somebody help me... "That link box thingy" is just a small link at the top. How do I make it full size? I can do it at the end of the video but maybe not in the middle?
This guy seems to explain the process well, the video is a couple of years old, but it seems to be "current enough" - ruclips.net/video/Q4dYiyCg6q8/видео.html - looking forward to the next series.
Joe Eible thanks I’ll look into it!
Awesome to see them totally finished, came out super nice. My question is: how does it feel to be a gangsta?
Shaun Boyd I’ve never known it any other way. 😎
I dig it.
BTW, the Home Depot boxes are innocent bystanders.
Hazem Bata they had to go.
Excellent work, just a TIP, you can remove the hot glue, with a jet of alcohol, it comes out alone
Those are super gorgeous. You did a fantastic job on them... but you already know that because you've stared at them a lot. Tell me I'm wrong. :)
Darin Beard not wrong ;)
I have that incra lift, did that little standoff come with it? Is it just for easing your work into the bit?
ReferenceThisObject I’m pretty sure it came with it. It makes starting a cut much safer.
👌👌👌 desde Chile
Juan Carlos Olivares Villalobos 👍🏼
I thought I had invented the Popsicle spacer trick 👍😄
RIP boxes, LOL.
LMAO that office space sequence was perfect! On a serious note why did you take the draw fronts off after you hot glued them on? Is there a reason you didn't just drill and drive the screws without pulling them off. Great videos man, I enjoyed this whole build series. I completely understand limited time in the shop(comments on other videos), I've got two little ones(1 and 4) as well as a full time job so I understand why it takes time to put the content out. Take care and keep it up.
Dairy Barn Woodworking thanks! I’ll put your question in the Q&A video when I get around to filming it, hopefully this week!
😮ooh!🆒👌!!
Adrián Peralta Thanks!
Have you seen my stapler? 😂
I was hoping you;d shoushiban the old night stands...
Taylor Hubbell I’m more of a hands-on kinda guy.
What bit did you use to make that big round over??
MrKking33 I’ll put that in the Q&A video, thanks!
those are fucking majestic
Marcus Östlin thanks 😎
Finally it has taken you ages to male thees but from the thumbnail they look grate is the entry way cabaret the next project
Timber Guy I have some other projects I need to do, that one will probably be this winter.
Blake Weber ok thanks
Bad fuckin ass!!!
