Awesome video boss, but I’m having a hard time adjusting chain, I’ve loosened the bolts then spun the hub and can confirm that the adjustment markings are moving but the chain doesn’t get any tighter or looser, any idea ?
You make it look so easy sir! Great video and great lighting too. Really appreciate your attention to detail. How many hours does a chain and sprockets typically last for you? I ordered the exact same parts you installed! Thanks for the discount too!
For me with racing i usually do 2 per season the one i take off ill keep on the shelf for the practice quad and run it some more when it needs one. Anytime thank you
Great video and angle as always. Always like seeing what products you use and the insight of installing them. I just ordered me a Glann case saver today actually 😁 also got a Rath XC front bumper as well. What do you think of the Rath XC heal guards they make I was leaning towards getting a set of them soon , but was trying to get some opinions on them? Thanks again
I think they offer a pressed link as well if not you can buy one and press it on. These are the way to go IMO way easier if you need to ever take the chain off for something.
@ononewheel7 I seen someone had some new oem chains on ebay brand new takeoffs for really cheap like 15 plus shipping was going to look at see if I'd be able to get it on without cutting a link
Its the same mud plugs i use for the outside i get these ones from bnr motorsports its his carbon fiber mud plugs then wrapped in graffix from spider graffix all you need to do is drill a hole in the center for the axle!
@@ononewheel7 cool, I have the dwt g2 single beadlocks, gonna try something along those lines or cut some foam to fit in the rim and put some sort of clamp on the axle to hole it from coming out.
Yup they have everything for pretty much any quad! And I’ve had great luck w them w racing i wna say for my setup its like 160-170 i run the better chain which is like 90 or so alone its the atv xring chain they have cheeper ones but this ones the best bet i think!
For the practice quad and my local riding inuse this one the glann one will get smoked quick as our local trails are super rocky but tyler is correct my new quad had one and my new 2021 build will also have glann’s!
How do you count a chain? I bought a 100 link chain and my YFZ needs 96 links. I removed 4 links (2 inner and 2 outer) and then added the master link. Did I do this correctly?
@@rooster4609 Lol your buddies must only ride track or somewhere with no rocks. Tell them to come ride out in Arizona with no sprocket guard. I've had my newest steel skid for 3 months and it's already dented and scratched to shit.
You are very efficient at working on your bikes! This would take me at least an afternoon and 4 to 6 beers just for me to finish it the next day
Hahah thanks man
I do know these machines pretty well as i have built so many.
10:41 how could you throw away the stickers????!!!! That the best part of buying parts 😂😂😂
Take a guess how many stickers i have in my tool box 🤣🤣🤣 if you guess correct i will ship them all to you haha i cant fit anymore in there 😫
500???
I will have to count and see 😬
280 stickers
@@ononewheel7 lol if I win my toolbox and yfz will be covered lol I’m a sticker addict 😂😂

Try moving it backwards. If your chain is super old it may be stretched out and time to replace it. 98 links also for the yfz450r chain.
love how you explained everything
Thanks for watching!
Perfect camera angle 👌 do you tighten everything to torque specs
I have my impact set pretty close to specs. The sprocket/guard i do tighten a little more vs stock.
Definitely loving the real time stuff!
Thanks man!

Thanks man! I run the rjr heal guards and pegs they are pretty nice and really solid i have yet to break one 🤣🤣🤣
Can you replace these with ones that don't have the master link. If so how hard? Just take the front sprocket and the front roller off?
I think they offer a pressed link as well if not you can buy one and press it on. These are the way to go IMO way easier if you need to ever take the chain off for something.

@zachwilson7061 ya that works
great video, best of luck!❤️
Thank you!
What are you using for rear mud plugs on the inside of your rims, that something homemade?
Its the same mud plugs i use for the outside i get these ones from bnr motorsports its his carbon fiber mud plugs then wrapped in graffix from spider graffix all you need to do is drill a hole in the center for the axle!
@@ononewheel7 cool, I have the dwt g2 single beadlocks, gonna try something along those lines or cut some foam to fit in the rim and put some sort of clamp on the axle to hole it from coming out.
So a lot of guys at the races w a single beadlock rear wheel use a foam insert and its a snug fit in the wheel so it wont come out!
@@ononewheel7 Right on, sounds like the best bet!
Would you ever do the a 350 raptor motor if so how much would you charge
It all depends what kind of build it needs i have done engines for people ranging from 250-450 depending on whats needed plus parts!
@@ononewheel7 it's all original I would like it to be the same but up grade the piston and you could post it on RUclips if you would like
I’m pretty sure u use the best chains and sprockets...Would that chain work with my raptor if so what’s the price bruh

@@ononewheel7 imma definitely check that out
What size socket do you use to remove the axle bolt
I actually have the tool from tusk for the axle nut not sure off the top of my head what it is id have to look and get back to ya!
what camera are you using?
Gopro hero 9
What is the jack you are using?
I have an aluminum atv jack from harbor freight its a sweet jack then the quad itself in on a pneumatic motorcylce/atv lift also a sweet setup!
Did you stop using the glann innovations sprocket digger, Jw I just noticed it wasn’t the digger, you inspired me to get it lol I love that thing
If not mistaken he put that on his national build that he sold. I bet he will have one for his 2021 build.
For the practice quad and my local riding inuse this one the glann one will get smoked quick as our local trails are super rocky but tyler is correct my new quad had one and my new 2021 build will also have glann’s!
educational video, really like it!
Thanks for watching!
where did you buy your camera?
I use all gopros and direct from gopro i am actually sponsored by them 😎

Yup thats the way
@@ononewheel7 Thank you for confirming man I've been going crazy trying to figure this out.
Anytime
you fixed my day.
🤘
How do you shorten the chain???
Chain tool
Or
Grind off a link/ links
Zip tie on the cotter pin👍 what no tape on your axle nut?🤣 I do that though. It works!
I think i had black tape on the axle nut or at least i usually do hahah!
@@ononewheel7 👍
great tutorial
Thanks!
Always amazed at how these chains last as long as they do. The are completely tortured each race.
Oh ya i usually don’t let mine go too long prob change mine 2 or 3 times threw out the season!
Primary drive any good?
@@Ecast23offroad first one I have had, so far it is working well.
Ive snapped primary drives in the past 😬
@@ononewheel7 what's the top of the game? (Chain and sprocket)
Dude my anxiety was so high when you were using the box knife to get the hub pin out, and then you slipped and cut yourself which I saw coming 😭
plz tell me a sprocket guard is a must need lol
I think for racing it is for added ground clearance under the swingarm!
@@ononewheel7 ive been saying this to my buddies thank you!!!

What did you think of the angle? I didnt use the tripod i use the chest mount 😁
@@ononewheel7 Not bad! At some point you miss the main point, but this is normal. I would do 2-3 cameras from few angels 😉
