Car sitting for too long without getting driven then brakes rust and if you move the car and not drive the car properly the rust gets deposited to the pads and sticks to the disc. In my case they were overheated as I drove the car and the pads were stuck to the caliper carier and did more damage that way instead of just cleaning the pads 1st before drive
