Thanks for watching Ame! Yes, the timing couldn't have been better and I'm so grateful. I think my favorite item from this video is the TSL TN - it happened to be quiet on the second floor when I stopped by and I loved coming up with ideas in that space for a custom notebook!
What is the TSL Kurashiki? Is it a store like Baum K that does customizations? And the Starbucks Roastery? Is it a Starbucks that also sells TCN? I am confused (newbie) btw the special
Editions of the TCN that came out in 2019-2024 vs these other items that aren’t SE but are sold regularly but only in the stores?
Hi there! TSL is short for The Superior Labor, which is a Japanese lifestyle brand that makes leather, canvas and brass products among other items. They have a store in Kurashiki, Japan where you can customize brand new traveler's notebook covers with their patches, leather pockets, etc. TSL partners directly with Traveler's Company to do the in-person customization service and is the only officially endorsed customization service by Traveler's Company.
As for the traveler's company notebook covers, there are a few that are only sold at specific Traveler's Factory locations (Traveler's Factory stores are official Traveler's Company stores where they sell all things TN). For example, the Tokyo Station TN I bought is only available in person at the Tokyo Station Traveler's Factory. The Narita Airport Traveler's Factory and the Kyoto Traveler's Factory have their own exclusive traveler's notebook covers as well that you can only get when you visit those stores. I found them in the Tokyo Station Traveler's Factory, but that was back in March 2023. I was surprised to see them there at that time because I thought they were sold out!

Thanks for watching! I unfortunately threw away the receipts long ago and don't remember the exact prices of everything. If you're interested in the Traveler's Company items specifically from Japan, you can see how much the items are in yen on their online shop (www.tfa-onlineshop.com/) and do a quick conversion to USD. Please note that the Japan online shop does not ship internationally, but Traveler's Company USA (travelerscompanyusa.com/) ships to USA and Canada.

Im going to japan in october, where is the kurashiki store? I never heard of it!
It’s on Google Maps as T.S.L Kurashiki and is about half an hour train ride away from Okayama station. The store’s Instagram is also in the description box - hope that’s helpful!
