The first migration of brahmins included Dikshitar, Nambudiri, and original Soliyar Brahmins who wore front kudumi / purvasikha. This is attested in Sangam literature (early centuries BC - early centuries AD) , which describes brahmins wearing front kudumi. Some of the early Alvar were Soliyar Brahmins. Nambudiri brahmins still practice srauta rituals. Very cool

He didn't say it was a Christian symbol or that it was from Christianity, he said it was like the Christian symbol. He was making a comparison for people so they could understand the similarities.

I cannot believe that it was our ancestors that built such grand temple complexes and lead such refined life which of course had its extremes.
India today is an anarchy. It's sheer chaos and mess. Architecture is in shambles, the order in society is broken. There is harshness in speech, there is frustration in behavior, there is no sense of beauty!
Cannot believe the grand visionaries of this land who built this temple ever imagined that society would forget the Principles of Beauty and Divinity that seers saw in Orderliness of society.
Just looking at our cities, it's uninspiring, soul crushing madness

@@somaskhan deekshitar is a Sanskrit equivalent of andhanar. Andhanar literally means brahmin. So if you're agreeing that andhanar has been mentioned in tamizh literature, you are indeed agreeing that Brahmins have been a part of the ancient thamizh society and we're very much revered. Appreciate the acknowledgement
