The volume button are swapped around if you are on some Android tablets in portrait mode, the lower button doesn't lower the volume.. I hate it. I don't know if I want an iPad, my sister has a quite new one and it seems like a retarded device
Honestly I got the air 5 yesterday, my first time ever using an apple product and let me tell youit exceeded my expectations, I was really intimidated by the fact that it is 60 hz and that's I'm used to use my smooth 120hz budget Samsung phone but honestly it is somehow so very smooth??! I couldn't even notice a difference between it and my phone which is crazy I'm really happy with it
Yes, iPadOS is really well optimised, so everything feels smoother by default! And you really will love the iPad experience if it’s the first time… even for simple things like content consumption to games or complex tasks like video editing! Dw it’s average Android user getting shocked by iPad OS or iOS smoothness. Hence why I don’t really care about 120hz in my iPhone and iPad. I was as shocked as you, 1 year ago when I first switched from Android to iPhone lol. Never looked back.
That volume button lock is the WORST and I yelled at 2 Apple employees on the phone for this. In the Sounds setting there used to be an option called "Fixed Volume Control Positions" Which locked the volume buttons the way they should. I HATE that in landscape mode the volume down button now becomes the volume up button, it messes so badly with my muscle memory. But guess what. Apple removed that feature SPECIFICALLY on the Air 5 and the Pro 12.9. For no god damn reason. And I about returned my iPad on the spot because of that feature being missing.
I know, even I hate this feature now .. especially when your iPhone doesn’t work this way.. I am always pressing the wrong volume button!! Wish Apple adds that setting to turn this feature off back again!!
You can make it work .. but you will probably have to delete some to make room. Games like PubG and COD will take over 10GB once you start building your profile. I made a video about storage on my channel, please check that as it might help further 😊
I can buy an iPad only 2 or 3 years later, when I get accepted in Masters. I prefer the 2022 one, IPAD 5, not the 2024 one. I want purple. I feel like they won’t sell the 2022 purple one in perfect condition anymore though 😢

Thanks a lot. I am in the process of making a video showing exact battery consumption for performing various tasks on the iPad including gaming! However, really tied up at the moment .. so will get to it soon! But coming to your question, gaming usually consumes a lot more battery than other stuff especially online resource intensive gaming .. I have seen the battery go down by 15-20% for an hours gameplay!

@@kaun_parth like I said .. games do take up storage .. and coming to study material.. save all that on a PC or laptop and see how much storage it takes .. then decide! In my personal experience, with 128GB you can be a bit more relaxed with what you store, but saying that you need to spend at least 200£ more in order to get that bit of extra storage .. see if you requirement deserves that extra cash!!

I beg to differ .. as it is priced at that perfect mid point .. giving you all the features which most people need .. borrowed straight from the iPad Pro so you don’t have to pay pro prices to have that all screen design with usb c port and Apple Pencil gen 2 support! In my opinion .. Apple should really cut the price of the 10th gen iPad as it is priced very close to the Air making it a bit pointless!

With Air, everything is good, just the base storage is measly 64GB which you need to make do The Pro on the other hand is expensive but you will get 128GB base storage, better speakers and promotion display But, whatever you decide, at this point make sure you are getting discounts on either models as new iPads will be announced soon .. might be in June .. and if you want, you can wait for the new models!

The iPad can’t fully compete with a laptop yet .. maybe performance wise, the M1 chip is far superior but for work stuff, especially for Microsoft Office suite of apps, a laptop still is going to be the better option.
Yes, it is .. but iPadOS by default is pretty smooth and unless you do a lot of games or you are an artist who’d benefit from the promotion display .. I’d suggest not to use just that one factor alone whilst deciding to buy the iPad Pro!
Yes…. not just the air but all iPads have them. Movies are shot using widescreen aspect ratio and iPads have more book-like dimensions. So you will get black borders. I show this in nearly all of my detailed iPad videos on my channel.. please check so you get a better picture on how it looks 😊

iPad Air M1 really is the most iPad that anyone needs .. but if you have the budget and want additional storage, then M1 iPad Pro is the one to go for.
Ya but mine now seems less responsive. Slow to respond and low battery capacity. I love Apple products always continue to download latest versions with updates but I think mine had reached capacity.
Not to worry.. that still is a decent iPad .. my partner still uses that. Yes, you miss out on few new iPadOS features, but the iPad still runs very smoothly and you should definitely get software updates for a few more years and security updates for even longer period!

Well .. owing both the iPad Pro and Air .. I can certainly say that it’s not a deal breaker without ProMotion .. especially considering how well optimised iPadOS is and how fast the M1 processor is!!
Absolutely.. you can connect the iPad Air to any external monitor or TV and using stage manager, you can get full screen display, without any side bars!

Cellular gives you the ability to add a data SIM card to the iPad and you can use internet whilst you are on the go. However, adding SIM card to the iPad only makes you access internet, it will not turn your iPad into a mobile phone. So you can make normal FaceTime calls on the iPad but you can’t make cellular calls. I’d suggest don’t go for the cellular version, as you can use your mobile hotspot and connect via that to access internet on your iPad in case you need it when your are outside.

I always use on mine and trust me it did protect my iPad when it fell face first onto a metal stand … also, it will keep it free from finger prints .. coz despite that anti-finger print coating.. the screen still gathers really stubborn ones .. I show this is quite a lot of my iPad video on my channel.. plz do check 😊
Nope .. usually, I recommend getting the WiFi only version and you can tether your iPhone to it if you need internet whilst you are on the go. The cellular version of the iPad gives you ability to add a data SIM card so you can get mobile internet but they are more expensive than WiFi models and you still need to get a mobile data plan plus .. even with all that, you still will not be able to make cellular calls on your iPad .. so it’s better to get the WiFi version and use your mobile phone as hotspot to get internet when you are out and about .

My ipad air 5 doesn't want to take the USB-C pencil . I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I tried watching videos it still doesn't connect
I would say do a hard reset .. and see if it works. If it still doesn’t , contact Apple support in your country!

Nope, it should just work. Try restarting your iPad and if it still doesn't work, format the drive and try again.

Yes…. not just the air but all iPads have them. Movies are shot using widescreen aspect ratio and iPads have more book-like dimensions. So you will get black borders. I show this in nearly all of my detailed iPad videos on my channel.. please check so you get a better picture on how it looks 😊

Not to worry.. that still is a decent iPad .. my partner still uses that. Yes, you miss out on few new iPadOS features, but the iPad still runs very smoothly and you should definitely get software updates for a few more years and security updates for even longer period!

Oh.. mine works perfectly fine.. are you making sure to use the pencil menu on the screenshot? If it’s still causing problem check with Apple support and see what they have to say.

Well .. owing both the iPad Pro and Air .. I can certainly say that it’s not a deal breaker without ProMotion .. especially considering how well optimised iPadOS is and how fast the M1 processor is!!

iPad does support Dolby Atmos .. for music and the Apple TV app.. Netflix iOS app doesn’t support this yet!

What’s the difference between the cellular + wifi option and just the wifi on the iPad Air 5?
Cellular gives you the ability to add a data SIM card to the iPad and you can use internet whilst you are on the go. However, adding SIM card to the iPad only makes you access internet, it will not turn your iPad into a mobile phone. So you can make normal FaceTime calls on the iPad but you can’t make cellular calls.
I’d suggest don’t go for the cellular version, as you can use your mobile hotspot and connect via that to access internet on your iPad in case you need it when your are outside.
@@RaavMediawhy not just get the WiFi only version and tether it to your iPhone for cellular data & calls? This is what I’ve been doing when needed since 2018 on my iPad 6. This is my 2nd regular iPad. Next year I want to try the iPad Air or Pro. I just hate that the pros only come in boring colors.

I always use on mine and trust me it did protect my iPad when it fell face first onto a metal stand … also, it will keep it free from finger prints .. coz despite that anti-finger print coating.. the screen still gathers really stubborn ones .. I show this is quite a lot of my iPad video on my channel.. plz do check 😊

Do I need to have a SIM card for my iPad to work?
Nope .. usually, I recommend getting the WiFi only version and you can tether your iPhone to it if you need internet whilst you are on the go. The cellular version of the iPad gives you ability to add a data SIM card so you can get mobile internet but they are more expensive than WiFi models and you still need to get a mobile data plan plus .. even with all that, you still will not be able to make cellular calls on your iPad .. so it’s better to get the WiFi version and use your mobile phone as hotspot to get internet when you are out and about .
