yeah, what the heck?? He kept repeating the same thing over and over and then started rambling about things that had nothing to do with the iPad bezels
As you mentioned, the bezels on the iPad serve a purpose. They make it easier to hold the iPad without risking accidental touches. For that reason alone, I don’t think Apple will ever shrink the iPad’s bezels to the size of modern smartphones. If they were going to, I believe they would have done it by now. They’ve already reduced the bezels on the iPhone, Apple Watch, and even the MacBook-adding a notch in the process! By the way, I felt the video ended a bit abruptly. I think you've done a great job by asking a question to engage viewers and adding a clickable link to a previous video, but the ending could feel smoother. If I were you, I would consider: - Asking viewers to leave a comment with their thoughts. - Thanking them for watching until the end and for their support. - Explicitly recommending one of your previous videos (maybe your first one, since it performed impressively well). Here’s how I’d approach it: - After your final question, say something like, “Make sure to share your thoughts in the comments below!” - Add a small beep or another sound cue to signal the start of the ending segment. - Show an outro screen with your animated character, plus a link to one of your previous videos. - Thank the audience out loud, and maybe add a personal note, like, “I’ve read all your comments and…” or mention upcoming plans for the channel (keeping it brief). - Close with something like, “If you enjoyed this video, you might want to check out my last video on…” Of course, this is just a suggestion, and you should adapt it to suit your style!
Actually the Matepad Pro from Huawei bezzels (idk how you spell it) are super thin, and as far i saw from a ipad user u boxing video, it worked perfectly fine.
Wow! The improvement in quality since your first video just a week ago is incredible. Your first two videos were already great, but you've really leveled up. I love the redesign of your animated character-it looks so much more modern. Keep up the fantastic work!
Apple could remove the bezels that make the iPhone so thin, but here’s the magic: they could use dynamic bezels that appear only when needed, adjusting for different apps. You’d have a full-screen display for videos and games, and bezels would appear when necessary for reading and other tasks.
so dynamic bezels like the dynamic island? would there also be an option to screenshot/screenrecord the screen without the bezels also appearing on the picture?
@@levimcneil4136Apple still has to take into consideration that there are many Folio type cases out there that don’t have protection on the edges, you’r still touching the bare frame of the iPad. Folio cases only cover the back and front of the device, and only one side when covered. And many people out there use their iPads, even iPad Pros, with a folio case, or even a Magic Keyboard and folio case combo for when they need and want to use the iPad off the magic keyboard case. Maybe you don't have experience using any of Samsung's "Ultra" tablets. They have a notch. But they also have 14 inch screens. On a phone that is a maximum 6 inches or so, a bezel to house the cameras eats into a bunch of that space, no matter how much you shrink it. But you're already familiar with how, over time, people all agreed that the notch seems to "disappear" during use and you don't notice it (not so much for the 5 inch iPhone Mini) On the tab Ultra, you are working with 14 inches of screen. The 11 and 10 inch Galaxy tabs have uniform bezels
The large bezels saved me when i raged at a game and stomped on it, There was a hole in the bezels! And it was still useable with some sellotape, Phew!
Here me out dynamic bezels oled screens can get completely black so if they just made it so when ur playing games or doing anything else with they would just go completely black and give u the bezels we are used to but when watching content they would magically shrink I think that would be sick
I do have an idea though: a “Dynamic Frame” where they create a notch for the camera, but hide it by emulating the thicker bezels, and implement certain UI elements inside the “frame” like Procreate shortcuts, sliding through photos, live activities, status bar icons, etc. kinda like the Touchbar and Dynamic Island, but it loops around the screen, now that’s something I’d pay good money for

After 3 or 4 years of using my m1 iPad Pro as my primary device (after retiring my gaming desktop), I’ve come to really like it’s form factor. I normally leave it in the Smart Keyboard case and use it as a sort of “touchscreen MacBook” type setup, but when I do take it out of the case and use it as a tablet, those bezels really do come in handy. I don’t think I’d want them to shrink. Like you pointed out, it’s a place to grab on to and they are symmetrical, which really comes in handy when using drawing apps and you need to frequently rotate the ipad to get the right angle with the pencil. I’m still kinda shocked I was able to replace my desktop with a tablet (although “tablet” isn’t exactly the right word here…it’s the M1 Pro model with the larger 12.9 screen that has the pro XDR panel, laptop shaped keyboard case, and Apple Pencil….its more of a MacBook Pro with touch controls and passive cooling). For your information, the Galaxy Tab S10 ultra also made a notch, but it also added an option to cover the notch and make it flat. I think it would be better to turn off only that part of the screen if Apple wants to make a notch and be natural.
I think apple is experimenting with Dynamic Island on iPad, because on mine, I used nugget to get it on my iPad, and it’s square, and acts different than iPhone Dynamic Island
Apple could make the bezels really thin but implement a bezel mode where it adds fake bezels and make them symmetrical to also hide the notch. and then when its on a stand like with the keyboard cases it activates the blacked out pixels for the full display
Apple wouldn't for that. Why? OLEDs while cheaper now than before are still expensive. The normal iPad is a cheap device, so is the mini. OLEDs won't come to these for a long time, as realistically they can't charge the same amount of money and keep the profits they bring. The air is more but again still supposed to be the pro but cheaper. The only way this will happen is when Apple can realistically add OLED to the entire line up and is willing to spend the extra millions of dollars to pay their staff to maintain that code. Also, the blacked out pixels on OLED are just pixels that are completely turned off. Doing it like that would result in pixels that would be significantly brighter than the rest. Which would make people think there is something wrong with the display and somehow eventually result in class action, as in the end the people would win. Why do you think no one has thought about that before?
But just like you said, you need them to hold your iPad and I used to get on the phone. It was a nightmare. I would just shoot randomly or I’ll just get out of the game randomly. I’m unless there’s a setting where parts of the screen are not affected, but that would be kind of destructive to the whole look.
In all fairness though, the iPhone's Dynamic Island height is only ~6mm, compared to the 7mm bezels of an iPad, so there isn't much of a difference, but it is a better difference nonetheless.
It would be cool but really doesn’t make much of a difference to me, no accidental touches are nice and it really does feel like there are in theory no bezels as there are no hole punches or notches it does just feel more natural I am using a m1 iPad Pro and I love using it

Because it's important that prevent to mistouch side screen, imagine that tablet android or ipad without bezel, feel like more annoying because mistouch or swiping screen on finger.
They should leave the bezels as they are why change it if it already works me as a person who plays on a tab (same bezel size) its just nice having those
this is my idea of how they could make the bezels thinner. make them thinner and make the area of the display that would be un the bezel not work so u can't accidentally touch it, BUT the bottom and top dose work because that's were u swipe to get out of apps and for control center. and make it dynamically change every time u turn the iPad to a new direction.
5:51 by the time apple “perfects” the feature and release, other companies would’ve perfected way before because they created it and added it so they can improve it as they go.
@M40M40Y1NP31 You know fold phones have already became way stronger. Less easy to crack when folding, more dust proof, less lines. (I don't have one, but reviews give all the proof)
smart touch rejection is a concept already used by many devices in past, apple just lacking behind as usual. examples you might ask? well samsung's curved displays, xiaomi wraparound display, the huawei mate xt (tri-fold), all of them use that concept
on the under display camera, can't they solve the blurry images issue with A.I? like the screen is always there, it's just a constant, just use A.I in the image processing pipeline to remove that constant and get a clear image. That would be a very useful way to use their A.I bs
Dunno about the oled/lcd justification. But yeah, tablets need thicker bezels or they need to improve touch rejection when it is needed. I got a small tablet with thin side bezels, and it is hard to hold it without triggering something.

They should leave the bezels as they are why change it if it already works me as a person who plays on a tab (same bezel size) its just nice having those
The crazy thing is that the new ipad pro is thin and light
Damn another banger keep it up
this is my idea of how they could make the bezels thinner. make them thinner and make the area of the display that would be un the bezel not work so u can't accidentally touch it, BUT the bottom and top dose work because that's were u swipe to get out of apps and for control center. and make it dynamically change every time u turn the iPad to a new direction.
This already exists, I can speak from experience it sucks. I'd rather have a thicker bezel on my tablet, and thinner bezels on my phone.
How the fuck is this channel so new? Really good quality!
He had a channel previously, he has experience in editing, or thats AI editing
Nice video bro!
One of my 3am thoughts 😂
the bezels on the 2019 air and 2017 pro were too thin
5:51 by the time apple “perfects” the feature and release, other companies would’ve perfected way before because they created it and added it so they can improve it as they go.
So far no one has perfected the folding phone tech, it still has many flaws, a lot of gimmick innovations also die silently ie the popup camera
@M40M40Y1NP31 You know fold phones have already became way stronger. Less easy to crack when folding, more dust proof, less lines.
(I don't have one, but reviews give all the proof)
Keep doing what you do. Amazing videos bro!
Just put the fries in the bag bro😭😭
Medium or large?
Because its so you can hold the big tabelt without touch the screen
smart touch rejection is a concept already used by many devices in past, apple just lacking behind as usual. examples you might ask? well samsung's curved displays, xiaomi wraparound display, the huawei mate xt (tri-fold), all of them use that concept
It's almost like you had some extra space to fill to hit the 8 minute mark to enable monetization...
Great vid, you should talked about why almost no ones bought motorola phones nowdays on future vid ^^
What’s the name of the 2nd music used?
Apple really needs to fix their Magic Mouse charing port location.
on the under display camera, can't they solve the blurry images issue with A.I? like the screen is always there, it's just a constant, just use A.I in the image processing pipeline to remove that constant and get a clear image. That would be a very useful way to use their A.I bs
5:47 iphone 16 just entered the chat
honestly I think the best sized iPads are the iPad 1 and 2
Just give it a forehead and chin and THIN bezels on the sides. I don't need to be told how to hold an iPad. They failed in the design.
Dunno about the oled/lcd justification. But yeah, tablets need thicker bezels or they need to improve touch rejection when it is needed. I got a small tablet with thin side bezels, and it is hard to hold it without triggering something.
I can’t wait for Apple to stop edging
It’s a palm thing I believe
0:50 they are playing ZZZ. I love that game.
i think its also because phones sells much better than ipads thus they put more effort into the bezels. Same as with monitors and tv's
i like the thick of it
