I have Seltos GTX plus. There is one aspect of the car which I am really missing. I like every other thing. I sit at the back and I do not have any control over the infotainment system. Even the voice commands work only when the button is pressed on the steering wheel. Any possibility of getting the hardware remote control for the system?
Hi Prashant, Voice commands are more of a feature that helps keep the driver's eyes on the road and hands on the wheel. When the system is updated to the new software once it is available in India, you will be able to use a wake-up command "Hey Kia" to use the feature.

I have Recently Booked GTX+ version, but after going through some of the comments in their twitter account I see a very significant number of complaints regarding KIA Seltos's After sales services. Like the dashboard is not working properly, some glitches in their Infotainment system, Engine getting heated up and many more issues. Can you please make detailed video About it. Thank You
Update : Got GTX+ Last December. The Car is amazing, so are the infotainment System. Touchwood haven't faced any problems yet. Really in love with this Car. :D

I got my car on Nov 07, and it is a wonderful car. But please be aware that the UVO doesn't work well. Before i left the show room, the team had to reset the UVO on the car. After that it worked for a few hours, then stopped again. I then called the dealer and he asked me to bring the car in again, to once again reset the UVO in the car. And he says that apparently told the dealers have been told by KIA to teach the customers to do it themselves....what?????...this for a car for which you pay 16L+?
Hi Bharat, The working of the app would be identical irrespective of variant but only if that variant is quipped with the feature. The engine stop-start would only be available with automatic versions of the Seltos, or in fact any connected car with the feature. This is due to the fact that the car will always be secure in 'P' mode, where as the manual may be parked in gear. Hence as a safety issue, it is only offered in automatic versions.

Hi Suryanch, in the Seltos, the feature is available in the automatic versions only. However, as the Creta also offers the technology with both - manual and automatic transmissions. Although, it would only work if the car is in neutral.

1 thing to note, the app is not fast is sending response. A start/stop, door lock/unlock takes about 30-45 secs to respond.

Hi Harsha, the Remote Engine Start Stop is only possible with automatic options. It is not available with a manual gearbox.
