Really only Thomas Ian Griffith can play the character properly, so having a different actor portray how terry became silver in karate kid 3 would be a waste to me.
This scene was referenced in Cobra Kai S5, namely where Terry Silver's Asian minion coerces Tory Nichols into hurting her hand badly to punch through STONE, and then in the final confrontation between Silver and Daniel, Daniel remembers these lessons shown here to defeat Silver, from decades ago, remarkably.
