I find people always think 4a hair is heat damaged. They don't understand how the hair can be both Afro textured with clumped spiral curls and uniformed waves...they think the curls/waves are a a result of heat damage. I think this is also an offshoot of everyone thinking that all Afro/cottony textured hair is 4c. As you will see a bunch of people claiming their hair as 4c, and the actual 4c community is like bruhhhh!!?? You're absolutely correct in saying, hair might look the same but it's not the same.

U missed the whole point of the video. She clearly states that its nobodies business what she does with HER hair, and that she prefers not to wear it natural. To try and pressure someone into conforming to make one group of people feel better about themselves is really rude and she says so. Let HER decide what SHE feels most comfortable with.

I don't get the people complaining about more then one person being near your head? When I went to Nigeria that was how it was, like at first only one person was working on my head but by the end of the night the amount multiplied to four.

I really think the idea of growing your hair isn't to comb/break/burst it but let it rest. Corn row for 2 weeks or braid for a month, take out, wash the dirt and grease residue out and repeat process.

Some people don't know what it's like to have hair that doesn't see heat much so it doesn't know how to behave 😂 . One flat iron in 2 or 3 months does not heat damage make. Lol.
Also you had a better time at that salon in Korea than I had at one here in the US. I went for a blow out and although she got it clean, even without using a flat iron she ran that blow dryer SO FREAKING HOT I smelled heat for a few days. Next time I trusted my gut and did it myself and the girl who did my protective style said she noticed more thickness and volume than the other time. Do you girl
