The majority of the material used should be sand and the melted plastic should only be used as a means of binding the sand.

Very smart great idea you need to change the mold into stackable so you could build tiny hut houses

Using PET bottles for me has been a disaster. The brick creaks. I am surprised you can do it with such ease

interesting for application in shower or swimming pool maybe , the process has to be improved and the quantity of plastic should be lower . interesting

My concern is in form of a question. Considering the percentage of plastic in the brick, should one be bothered about the it's denaturing or changing of form when exposed to high temperatures particularly on hot days?

Not to mention the potential dangers in cases of fires - poison smokes, melting structures... agree on bricks/building material but prolly just for outhouses, small garages or storerooms.

It's not for building a room that's for sure but maybe pavements and land scapping, PET has a melting point of 250 degrees Celsius so don't worry about them ever melting or deforming on a hot day my dear.

@@2165-d6n These bricks are not eco-friendly as they can't be further recycled. There are better ways to make bricks, and better uses for recycled plastic.
