This sounds stupid but i hope maybe in the future they’ll allow customization.
Not in the sense like, letting you wear bunny helmets and stupid shit like that but customizing how you wear your gear. Giving yourself a sense if personality to your character.
Like having your sleeves rolled up, pants tucked in or out of your boots. little accessories on your helmet or insignia. How you wear your knee pads, vests, whatever. Little things.
Wish Battlefield was like that

It's also early enough that we could still see variation in camo pattern. Woodland MOOP suits, MARPAT MCCUs, coyote plate carriers or the older Woodlands, I've seen some guys during the invasion wear six-color desert helmet covers.

You never thought Call of Duty 4 was a thing?
There's no customization because we didn't have customization in the service like in videogames. You get issued your weapon, you may or may not have an attachment, and that's it. You don't get to "modify" your weapon normally (Things may have changed as i retired due to injuries in 2016). The only time I did any modifying was when I was first in the service in a career field I later crosstrained out of to the Engineers. When I went to the Engineers, you got what you got and that was it.

One can request a fore-grip with pressure pad from armory but thats about it.

Very true. I know infantry men who have iron sights. I know I rocked iron sights, then a CCO then an acog back to a CCO then to a saw with iron sights. Saw other units with an acog on their saws I was amazing and jealous. Now I’m a dismount rifle man at a new unit with an m4 rocking iron sights.
Edit: the only modifications I’ve seen and done myself was custom butt stock and foregrip.
No one wants to experience a horrendous real war. It is boring, unsatisfying and true waste of time for everyone.

I wonder if we'll get the US army added at some point? Most people don't know, but the Army did take part in the battle alongside the Marines.
The Army was in charge of securing the city's southern perimeter, and holding it while the Marines pushed into the main city and drove the insurgents into the army's waiting positions.
I'm guessing they will introduce missions like that, as they're looking to add more parts of the battle beyond the doorkicking.
David Bellavia is a Medal of Honor recipient who was in the Army during this battle. His story is incredible. I hope they at least have an interview with him in the game.

There must be some kind of Single player... with or without AI mates. For family, working people and elderly gamers it would be a nightmare to gather each time a team... they might simply avoid game...

No AI for single players bummer, think that was a big mistake from the Dev,s.. will be a night mare unless you have friends to play with. It is not the kind of game you want to play with with just who ever comes on line. I'm a Vet and looking forward to this PTS game. Still will get it. All the work, love and heart brake that went in to getting this game out! Peace...cu all in Fallujah :)

There's still gonna be a full singleplayer campaign to play through, the gameplay that's been shown off and will be accessible before launch is just a side mode from what I've heard

Game looks and sounds very promising but $40 for what is currently offered is very steep. I know it's EA but there's barely a game here.
There are 4 mission types and while the exterior looks similar the insides are very different each time

Wouldn't reccomend it in it's current state. Feels very floaty and lightweight, player controller is overall very clunky
40$ is a lot tbh, ill buy it, but tbh its too much, RoN is cheaper, tarkov is cheaper, squad is sometimes cheaper, ground branch is cheaper, all games offer more

@@Meme-to2qq Well Tarkov has actually awesome systems, like the hunger, weight and loot. Singleplayer mod was really fun and immersive. There are some things i don´t like or found stupid, but the survival aspect of Tarkov is amazing.
I want it but I'll wait. With just terrorist hunt and no kit customization as of yet I feel it'll get old fast. I will be incredibly excited for AI teammates, kit customization, new enemy types, weather changes, day/night, campaign, civilian considerations, and new missions. We shall wait and seeee
You play a soldier, he doesnt get customize weapons.
it does get a little old if your stuck with the same kit everytime, but it's not bad so I would recommend getting it
I agree about kit customization. I would really enjoy a ranking up system that included functional weapon modification. I just want to choose my kit loadout at a minimum.
Think I'm gonna give this a few months and see how it turns out. So many new games coming out its hard to justify a 40$ purchase on an early access with no friendly AI.
I feel like the roadmap content would hold the price point in a fair spot. Everything currently in the game feels like 30$ at most especially when there's no roadmap dates. It does seem promising though!

Me and 2 of my friends buyed it and only thing we really hate is the timer. You get 15-20 minutes missions while we could spent even an hour going room by room, house by house looking for caches, IED's and enemy combatants instead of that we kinda had to rush everything just because of timer.

It's kinda supposed to be like that, since it's recreating this event in which they had to sweep the whole city. They had to keep moving on and didn't have time to break which added to the tension of the assault
The time limit really is necessary to make the game actually challenging. If you can take it absurdly slow the game would be too easy.
Yeah, the timers should scale according to your team size. Trying to move and clear quickly enough when there's only two of you is practically impossible.
If the map procedurally generates it isn’t Fallujah, arma 3s altis is based on a real island. It could be called the battle of limnos.

@@cezarstefanseghjucan it’s JUST a shooter set in the Middle East, there’s nothing unique or that ties it to Fallujah. It’s been done so many times before, squad, battlefield, call of duty, insurgency sandstorm, csgo they all have Middle East maps.

by biggest turnoff is the weapon.. only m16 is kind of meh. even though it is accurate historically.
the only reason I would want to play an historical tactical shooter is the story campaign - and if that is locked and who knows when it will be available (like in RoN)
I would prefer it not to be accurate with more gameplay options.
Also the fact that every tactical shooter is so Co-op oriented is really annoying. it is a niche as it is so it is very hard to find likeminded friends to play with.

The only one that I found that did it great is deep rock, otherwise devs dont think about. So next time you write a reply like that think twice and write something useful instead of that crap that has no meaning.
I’m the same as you man, I LOVE these kind of games, however none of my friends who I regularly game with are interested in this type of game so whenever these games come out I just feel like I have to miss out if it doesn’t have a solo option. Sucks big time. Hopefully one day they’ll allow you to play with AI or something.

Well people that are hard fans of tactical shooters will still be playing and waiting for content. This isn’t for a lot of gamers it’s a niche group

What will happen is people will play for a week or 2 complete the current content and then stop playing until no content is available. Games like RoN or GB have had mods to help keep people playing, this won't have that. The facts are even within the niche group it's aimed at it'll get boring very quickly and people will stop playing.
Size needs to be increased from 4 to 12 or 16 players to clear these buildings to create that squad clearing this area feeling maybe 3 teams of 4 get put in a match. they use close proximity chat to communicate and a designated fire team leader can communicate with the other fireteam leader through radio. Would be a great idea an would cause blue on blue more as I assume call of duty players gonna run around a bit more and shoot their teammates adding to the chaos 😂

Loved that game. But 6DiF is way harder... and I love it too!
In the future they should add a little more weight to the characters and guns as now the movement feels a bit too unrestricted for someone wearing 60kg on his back at least + full equipment. They should also allow for loadout customization in the lobby as it would allow players to approach the missions in creative ways.

Ever since COD MW2 (original) came out and reignited my interest in FPS I've been saying that procedurally generated AI was needed in order to give games replayability. This looks like it has the makings of a truly great game, I've taken a chance and purchased it hoping that it will one day be "the" fps shooter to rule them all.
Amazing sound, scary cqb and a opportunity to make new comrades
The game is fun but too many teammates are impatient and don’t understand the impact that grenade have for clearing building, in the actual push grenades were tossed in about every window and threshold possible. Didn’t always kill everything but it was pretty damn effective. It is in the game as well.
For $40, I'll wait a year and see what's added. Right now it has no long-term playability.
I honestly say buy the game is you want to support the devs in the making, and support the boys who fought the fight or if you just wanna try it out because it is fun, and it is difficult. However with the 4 scenarios only and the convoy being so easy, there is not much to do yet. Civilians are not a thing yet which lowers the "risk factor". Overall it's a beautiful game I have waited for though but needs that buffering.
No AI teammates is a deal breaker for me. My friends are interested in the game and I don't have enough gaming time to spend searching for a team that may or may not suck.
They're planning AI teammates, so you can get it now or wait if you like.

Fun if you don't mind dying a lot. Brutally tough in single player, most I have killed in single is 4-5, they flank, run back and forth, disappear. My biggest issue is they are all markmen, no one is that damn good with a gun. Headshots are fun and simple, you have to reduce the movement % to 20 so you can aim better. But all the AI are marksmen, I like smart AI, but marksmen too.
Fun fact the marines weren’t the only ones in fallujah and it’s surprising how many people don’t know that
People know it. At least the educated ones. The devs will add Iraqi forces and army down the road map. Also a lot of the army did read security i know the 10th mountain did at least.

Why bother reviving this? When Konami cancelled it. It was supposed be Super Gorey, Destructible Environments, a Campagn as U.S. Soldiers as well as the perspective & story from the Insurgent POV. This is a generic piece of junk in comparison to the unique ideas of the original game.
Let me sum it up real quick, it is the single greatest millitary experience I’ve ever had in my entire life of gaming

It seems like customization is a controversial topic in regards to this game, but I think it would add a lot of replayability. I think first and foremost, we should be allowed to choose our class while maintaining the limit of one player per class. Nothing fancy, nothing crazy. Just let us choose our class, take more grenades (or less), etc.
UI is unintuitive and looks like a PowerPoint presentation.
But the gameplay is, while buggy, is pretty good. Really makes you appreciate the brave men and women of our military.

as of right now i think it's still too EA to justify a purchase, and more likely than not if you're looking to buy Six Days, you probably own Ready or Not which has way more content in it
people need to stop crying about lack of weapon customization. You get what the Marines were issued. It's not like you have a big table laid out with every attachment known to man. You want that go into SF.
So to clear some stuff up- AI team mates will be added- A Campaign Story will be added- weather will be added- and Upon console release, the game will have all these things already added when console players get it?
Followed by the complaining from the console peasants.

Not even. Maybe in its current Early Access state if nothing changed. But there is a ton of planned additions that would get this game a massive replayability value.

It's a toggle, you can go back and forth between aim modes.
I didnt make it very far and died alot, I wouldnt buy unless you have 2 or 3 friends to play with. Id say its harder than battlefield 2 mc for 360 in early days. Campaign still locked hopefully see a full release soon.

Running irons or ACOG is history accurate, but I want Holographic or Red dot Aimpoint T2 or something else.

Well, this looks awesome very fine and has great squad combat/dynamics and close-quarters firefights but I will wait for this to leave early access or in a later stage so as to have AI teammates and the campaign - a story or something because I have one friend that plays games and only PS5 games and I don't know if would find other teammates to play or there would be more like friends teams to play and people will struggle to find a team to play. You can't play solo this game looks super hard and realistic so is not an option but after so many years that come out now after they canceled the game back then it's so promising and to have Iraq's second war and Falluja like this is like a dream came true and thanks for the vid TG.👍👍

As a console player this seems to be the case, however when we get access to the game it should be polished up with all the content added- unlike PC players in early access missing lots of content in the mean time

there is a timer on the missions so u have to rush everything ai is ok some have spinbot bug and spin when walking no civilians either only 3 missions too pick it up in a few months

I cant help myself, but from all these videos to me, the enemy AI has insane accuracy.
I would say, it is not worth it since there is no weather system, and even with the fact that the map layout is changing, it looks still way to same to me. Also Ground Branch offers way more things right now so i just don´t see any reason why buying Six Days.
The sound in 6 days is unmatched as well as the atmosphere. Also the point was to portray a conflict and what it was like. Ground branch is about being a fictional high speed operator so you get all the fancy attachments and gear unlike a standard foot soldier

Until that add good AI teammate I wouldn’t recommend. Playing with friends is amazing but it’s unplayable 9/10 of the time with random and make it very frustrating
i wish they had an multiplayer version tbh just maybe like 16v16 and map is the same but keeps changing or like playing as all sides, us marine, al qaeda, civilian, special forces

40 bucks is too much for what its offering now. im lucky my friend was willing to buy it for me so we could play but with where it is now, even being early access, i think its worth no more than 20-25. they could increase the price up to the current 40 down the line when the game has more content but yeah

Too expensive for what we get at the moment. And no MP makes it less interesting. More of a Docu-Game than a game., If only Squad could incorporate the same mechanics in procedural generating different city environments
Eh, some of us don't like PVP anymore. I gave up on it years ago because of hackers and children ruining games. If I'm going to play any sort of online game now it's PVE or nothing.

Honestly id wait. With the 4 available missions it will get stale fast. The missions have been in the same buildings and same paths even going to the main menu, its a clunky game atm. This should of at most been a tect demo
Full release in 2025 if you're lucky. They led console players on in the forums to believe everyone would get it at the same time and then pulled this. 40 quid is a joke for early access. I bought the game off a key site for much less. I don't know what the content creators played, but so far it's a mess. Audio is messed up. Optimization is poor. Hold off, save your money.
