Tip #1 is slightly off, they can't hear you reloading, checking your mags, the sound of your mags hitting the ground, your character yelling about reloading, the sound of you holding your breath, and certain character dialogues/reactions can't be heard by everyone, especially the enemy team.
Checking your mag actually does make noise.

Bullshit. Just something people repeat to be cool. Good CoD player is going to be good at Insurgency after just a short while to familiarize themselves with the differences. I have seen so many examples of this.

Got one of my own tips to share here. shooting through walls is a good way to see if someone is in a room, just fire 3-4 shots and they will cry out because of the suppression effect and fireing through walls can be used to GREAT effect when someone is in a staircase because of how tight the space is you can mag dump a staircase though a wall and kill them basically every time or at least get them to run away (not all weapons are capable of shooting through all walls like 9mm usually cant punch through a stone wall but 55.6 can)

Tip #28 If you’ve never smoked ciggs EVER before playing this game, I suggest you start now. You’ll have cancer anyway.
50% of everyone will develop cancer in their life time.
You can hit melee while sprinting to charge shoulder bash. Very useful to hit doors and enemies with force or even quickly making your character dash forward to dodge. You can also do this off small ledges/boxes etc while sprinting and it will launch you similar to the knee slide
I found a couple problems with these tips:
Tip 8: armour does help with bullets, no armour will di in 1 hit to any rifle, and most pistols, will also die to 1 knife hit. Lights armour makes it take 2 hits with most things, heavy armour adds an extra hit for the lower caliber weapons on top of what light armour provides. Wearing light armour is highly recommended because it increases your survivability by about 3x. HOWEVER! Armour is mostly to do with explosives and other damage sources. The radius at which a grenade is lethal while standing goes down by about a quarter while wearing light armour, heavy armour halves it. While prone, as long as your head is facing away, you can survive a grenade blast from about 5m with heavy armour, without it you will die. In PVP I highly recommend light armour, but would advise against heavy armour for the cost to use ratio
Tip 9: LASERS DONT INCREASE ACCURACY! Now granted he might have misspoke, but lasers only show where your shot will land, guns are 100% accurate, where you point them is where they hit. In PVP, just don't use lasers man, its not worth it, and if you are, keep it turned off until you actually enter a close range fight, but even then the enemy will see you rounding the corner before you actually even do it. Also Guns are hitscan below 100m, and become physically simulated over 100m, which means that drop and travel time come into play
Light armor gives you like 10% more resistance against grenades at best and with the TTK being so fast in insurgency, using armor against bullets just doesn't make sense most of the time.. Not saying it wouldn't help you survive some situations, but overall it's just not as good as it should be in this game...
When it comes to tip number 9 you just misunderstood my words. I said laser sights help you hipfire accurately (which it does by offering visual aid of where the shot will land). I never said that it makes your weapon more accurate!
I have survived many sprints across a hot intersection because of light armor. Being able to take at least one hit is invaluable especially to a new player just saying
No, that's not right. Medium calibers like 5.56 and 5.45 always take 2 shots to the body regardless of no armor, light armor, or heavy armor (excluding extreme ranges). Light armor can buy you one more shot against rifles like the FAL, G3A3, Tavor, etc. With all the disadvantages armor brings, it is just not worth it 9/10 times. (If you're dying to SMGs a lot, though, use it. You'll take 1 more round.)

Armor also protects you from granades, you should use at least light one, I would agree that heavy is not worth it though

No, armor really sucks. The difference for light armor vs explosives is not worth the weight, expanded silhouette, and supply cost. If you keep dying to pistols and SMGs, sure slap it on so you can take 1 more round. Beyond that, leave the armor.
I started playing sandstorm 3 days ago. ( cod main ) and I just played 10 hours of local play to get used to recoil and speed. I'm pretty good at the game now
Tip #n+1 switch your AK to semi-auto. It will train you to be more accurate & will save you a bunch of ammo

Most important is steam input and linking focus an ads an fire an focus link. For good measure throw in intimidate on fire also. Also link your guns an equip all to your Y button.

This video is a year old, but you can also use game replays to learn spots that you could get shot from, instead of assuming you're safe because you're in cover, you can still get peeked from certain angles regardles of where you are👍
I learned tip 20 the HARD way when 80% of my team was plastered against any nearby object by an A-10

I served in the Australian military ( not going into all the details as I do not want people knowing who I am. Just privacy reason. ) and recently started playing this game and the biggest tip I got for people is play like you’re in a fucking war zone. I can’t tell you how many people I’ve seen just run into building and not clear them first or just simply run across a street with no close cover.

At tip #19 I noticed that you used your laser to aim and shoot the door hinges like the "point and shoot" training that comes with the night mode that we have in the game now. However you're clearly using it on a day map. How did you do this? Is it an attachment or something just for that shotgun?
That is actually an insanely good question because I have no clue😂 Looking at the map I'm in I Might have been in the firing range... maybe thats why I can use it?
Another tip I'd like to add: if you run into an enemy right in front of you just shoot without aiming down sights. Aiming down sights will make you waste a valuable 0.5 seconds in wich you will get killed.
Unless you have the aiming grip attached. In increases your ADS speed by 50%. 8/10 times I won the firefight in CQB from this, however your statement is also not wrong.

First bullets on flesh is usually the winner. Pretty hard to aim whilst hot metal is going through you lol

Just visual aid, once you get familiar with the guns you can hip fire from pretty good distances with great accuracy. Also moving makes you lower your gun a bit. Coop is good for aim practice anyway. I use coop to warm up before pvp
Heavy armor does make a clear difference, you need 1 extra shot to get down
+ When throwing a nade, the objective icon on the bottom is dead-center
Against some weapons yeah but it also makes you slow and it costs 3 points! Much more viable to just use the points on an extra nade and be quicker overall
@@JereZiii usualy my loudouts are small ammo, heavy armor, prim weapon with foregrip and a scope), ALWAYS 1 frag and 1 smoke, no pistol (except insurgent), gas mask (always on).
Have 1500 hrs and still didn't find a better loadout combination and you are not slow, but, thats my case, still good vid

I do have a question maybe someone in the comments can answer.
I noticed if I shoot before the gun finishes its ADS animation, and if my crosshair placement is good my shots will accurately hit the center of my screen, even though the gun hasn't fully finished the animation of moving the gun up and looking down the sights. It looks janky, but it feels like basically as soon as the fov change happens from the ADS process, my bullets are going to go towards wherever the center of my screen is regardless of the crosshair. It being effective only works if the crosshair placement is good, but if it is and you pair that with a aiming grip, you can basically play the game like Battlefield but everything one shots. I'm only asking because that's not been the gunplay from other games I've played where your either can't shoot at all or can't shoot accurately until you fully finish the ADS animation.
I've noticed a bit of the same! Definitely a weird thing..

Idk about armor, with heavy you take 90% reduced torso damage, you might not notice it in the moment but it will save you

what I don't get is that in your background video the enemies see you for a good second and then they shoot you but in my games on single pixel exceeds the corner and they shoot me right in the head in 0.35 seconds

Have a breacher friend give you an IED, then use the grenade throwback repeatedly
#1 is off. A lot of sounds like reloading, reloading voicelines, mags dropping, etc. are silent.
#4 Don't always cook your nades, because the enemy can hear you pull the pin and release the spoon, and will then peek you and kill you.
Also, you can pick up magazines from dropped guns assuming it is the same caliber (and in certain cases magazine type - an AUG mag will not work in an M16, despite both being 5.56).
As someone who has over 200 hours in this game, use the armor💀
Cooking your grenades does not work in this game. The spool does not come off until it leaves your hand and that's when the timer starts.

@@JereZiii yeah, because of the performance issues back then & they couldn't balance the firefight in sandstorm's new map design, it was balance in source becuase the map layout, design & core mechanics were different from sandstorm but still I think & believe if they add CS defusal game mode it'll not only be just competitive it can also surpass CS defusal in my opinion becuase it'll be little bit slower pace as compare to CS defusal & less stressful also competitive & fun to play at the same time but the NWI have I don't what ego issues or what they don't wanna do it 😑

Armor is useless? No it's not.. it is not as useful as everyone would think, but armor light and heavy could save u from a single hit except to ur head that would otherwise kill you.
Yeah it can save you from a single hit in a game where recoil doesn't exist and it's super easy to land that second shot anyways! Armor can be argued to be effective against explosives but even then I'd rather take the extra movement speed..
@@JereZiii getting saved from single bullet in a game where single bullet can kill you is a massive advantage if you think about it. I alway go with full armor except at the start of the round as rifleman

It's mostly just useful against explosives but yeah it can help you survive against long distance snipers or someone with absolutely horrible aim but in the end it really only makes sense to use in coop.. depending on your playstyle tho!
I don't like how you can't pick up your mag after quick reloading, even if it has rounds still in it.

Armor can take 2 shots of 5.56 and 4 shots of smg and pistol, without armor you will always die on the first shot and two shots with pistols, throw that armor on. This is a horrible "tip" your just getting people killed more often, people wonder why they never win gunfights cause they listen to people online telling them armor is useless🤦♂️
