I have short hair and I want it to be as long as possible. Does a trim every month really make your hair grow faster? Because I'm afraid that the hairstylists will cut off too much hair and I'll end up with shorter hair which is the last thing i want.
@@jj-of3vk It's a bogus suggestion to get you in the salon more. Cutting your hair just means you lose hair. It's not magically stimulating any more hair growth, if that were the case, we'd probably all have longer hair already.

hehe it is a combination of everything! Good genes, good diet, proper hair care, proper washing and handling of hair as well as protection from the natural elements and most importantly GET RID OF STRESS (it stops hair growth and causes hair loss regardless of how well you take care of it).
Lara Hyland yeah, the cartoon pic of growth in 30 days piqued my interest as well! I’ve never seen anyone’s hair grow so fast! Menopause also slows the growth of hair & changes its texture. Well, for hair oil, Indonesian has three traditional oils. Coconut oil, Kukui Nut oil, and Urang Aring oil. You can search it in Google, if you want to. I love to use Kukui Nut oil and Urang Aring oil, because it make my dark hair darker. I'm Asian which makes my hair is dark brown to black hair naturally. Also, for me, because I'm wearing hijab is my hair sometimes stuck on my hijab (because my hair is very easy to fall). And yes people, I have hair under my hijab so I always taking care of it, including to use hair oil once a week. I also washing my hair once on every three days. I have normal thick hair, but no. I choose to cover it with hijab because I want to.
I had bob cut 2 yrs ago. I regretted for cutting it. Then i came across this video. This helped me so much and i have hair till hip. Thanks bright side
I disagree, @Wendy O'dell. Grey/white hair is a category of its own. Not only does it change the texture of your hair, but it needs hair products with NO yellow dyes and requires regular maintenance with a blue/purple hair product to counter environmental discoloration.
RL Beam Well, I guess my Mom is one of a kind then. Her hair is fine, she keeps it cut short in a boy cut. It looks cute on her. She definitely falls into the light catagory but thanks for sharing.
Wendy O'dell I’m curious as to the brand of shampoo & conditioner your mom uses. Many women with grey, silver or white hair do use a purple or blue shampoo weekly to keep it from yellowing due to environmental factors. Those who are smokers or live with one may use the purple shampoo 2-3 times a week. I think is awesome that her hair is soft. Was she a natural blonde? Graying hair does change hair texture, however, I’ve noticed that women with silver &/or white hair tend to have much softer hair that curls easily.. Good quality shampoo & conditioners really do have an impact on ones hair wether it’s fine, thick, curly or gray..
I chose all of them and the answer was OILY hair. And it is right the opposite of my actual hair type- My hair is normal to dry, I wash it once a week!
I wish!! I can't put coconut oil directly on my hair or skin because it causes a weird reaction and makes me smell like bile. I tried it once and never again! I can use products that contain a small amount but that's it.
My mom always tried to cut inches of my hair when I was around 7, and she did. My hair was past halfway my back but not to my bottom yet. She was like; Mom: “I won’t cut that much hair ok? Just 1 inch!” Young Me: “Ok...” *After* Young Me: AHHHHHH YOU CUT LIKE 6 INCHES OF IT!! Mom: Nope! That’s 1 inch. (SHE CUT MY HAIR JUST A LITTLE BELOW MY SHOULDERS) *Triggered*
I regret so much cutting my hair. i had thick wavy, layered hair with long curtain bangs. but my mom told me to get a trim, it now its a few inches off my shoulders. and they thinned it so much! these comments are making me cry harder tbh. school starts in a month help me. fun fact i am having a mental breakdown while writing this + crying
I stopped watching after #6. How can "Normal" be the rarest hair type? If something is classed as "normal", that would indicate that it's the standard by which everything else is measured, therefore, "normal" hair should be the most common type.
It IS rare! Ask everybody around you. I bet most of them will answer that they have dry or oily hair. Or oily roots and dry ends, combination hair type (mostly occurs with bleached hair). It is usually people with natural, untreated hair that have normal type
Your logic makes no sense. A "normal" body weight means a healthy weight, but the majority of people aren't in their healthy body weight range. Does this mean being overweight is normal? No.
This is actually my point... "normal" is the way things should be. The average... the standard... a "normal" weight is the ideal for your height / age and can be controlled. "Normal" hair is NOT normal and there's nothing much you can do about it. And given the fact that it is the rarest type, means that "normal" is actually abnormal.
In another video she pronounced Formaldehyde like "formal-DEE-hide" instead of as "for-MAL-de-hide" I've never heard it pronounced that way. Also, I've never heard jojoba pronounced before, and would have pronounced it the same way if I've only read the word. But now I know the proper way, thanks!
2 eggs 4 scoops of coconut oil (with a spoon) 2 scoops of honey (with a spoon) Apply to Hair Apply Shower Cap and Leave For 20mins Take your daily shower And you can also add hair oils but that’s optinal And your done
They said, "Naturally perfect hair, or not" on the shot with her, witch I guess could be interpreted either way. But since the video's tips seemed mostly (if not entirely) geared towards non curly hair it could be easily interpreted as them non intentionally (or possibly, but not probably, intentionally) saying curly hair is not perfect so why bother. Therefore not giving tips for it... but I can't believe they would concisely (or even unconscious) communicate that...so I guess it's all a matter of perspective.
Kenzi Merchant it’s actually not also question... are you black... cuz if not you wouldn’t under and there’s nothing rude about that statement people online just like starting mess I can express my opinion the way I want freedom of speech first amendment
LoDoesStuff I didn’t insult anyone I made a cultural reference your the one who just made a racist statement by calling black people hippos and due to modern society aspects of racism is still ok so how about you take a look at yourself before you try to talk about me and my people I didn’t insult you or white people so you really just want to argue about something
I cut my hair uneven and my bff offered to cut only the uneven part the next day in reses she cut it to my shoulders I swear my hair was at my hips before this happened like 2 or 3 months ago I regret EVERYTHING
1:00 NO! Rinse your hair with cold water especially if you have dyed hair. 1:22 The product I recommend is heat protection. You should let it naturally dry if you have non dyed hair, if your hair is dyed, than it’s okay to use the hair dryer considering the fact that you should only wash your hair ones or twice a week if it’s dyed.

Arianna I've been a oiling my hair for a long time and it's grown alot

Nailah Oliver is green beauty a scientist? Idk but she studys hair i guess

Barber: how short do you want your hair?
People watching this video: yes
*regrets
I can relate 🙍🙍🙍
I literally told her that I want above the shoulder but she cut toooooo short, I'm literally regret it
I had bob cut 2 yrs ago. I regretted for cutting it. Then i came across this video. This helped me so much and i have hair till hip. Thanks bright side
So how fast did this work for you approx? I am wondering cause I have prom in two months
So you covered light, dark and red hair, what about grey hair?
Vickie Clark I think it falls in the light hair color catagory. That's were I put my mom.💜
I disagree, @Wendy O'dell. Grey/white hair is a category of its own. Not only does it change the texture of your hair, but it needs hair products with NO yellow dyes and requires regular maintenance with a blue/purple hair product to counter environmental discoloration.
Vickie Clark your are light
You know us humans know the hair is the most gorgeous part of us, it is flawless! 😏
Wait why did I put a cat emoji :/
1Corinthians 11:15 A woman's hair is her crowning glory.
I need long hair for the first day in 6th grade!! I’m curling it in red carpet curls and I NEED my hair to grow!!
What if i chose all A, B, C and D all once?? What do I have?
DragonFly you would have answered one of them twice because there was 5 questions
Mm....But I couldn't chose the question about ur Crazy, volume hair. SOO................ *DO I HAVE RARE HAIR?*
The rare bushasha hair
U have very rare hair
I chose all of them and the answer was OILY hair. And it is right the opposite of my actual hair type- My hair is normal to dry, I wash it once a week!
TY for adding red hair to the hair colors, cuz I have red hair and I can never tell if it is light or dark.
Coconut Oil is the best for every hair no matter the type!
Janet Riegel
Wow, Can i eat it then in a bowl?
Shreya Rosanna congratulations
Janet Riegel no, it protects from the sun
I wish!! I can't put coconut oil directly on my hair or skin because it causes a weird reaction and makes me smell like bile. I tried it once and never again! I can use products that contain a small amount but that's it.
Shreya Rosanna doesnt it make it oily tho?
i wash my hair once a week my hair ends normal and i really naturally have long straight silky hair . yes i am mostly A yay! . 💜💜💜💜
are you an ARMY?
for oily hair:
use an aloe shampoo. that's literally all you need.
I going to buy it see it is work for me I have badly oily hair
are you an bts army because i saw your profile
My mom always tried to cut inches of my hair when I was around 7, and she did. My hair was past halfway my back but not to my bottom yet.
She was like;
Mom: “I won’t cut that much hair ok? Just 1 inch!”
Young Me: “Ok...”
*After*
Young Me: AHHHHHH YOU CUT LIKE 6 INCHES OF IT!!
Mom: Nope! That’s 1 inch.
(SHE CUT MY HAIR JUST A LITTLE BELOW MY SHOULDERS)
*Triggered*
Same here 😖
I am sorry for you. This happened for me too.
Nice video can I be a proofreader for you guys?
XD

Houw dare u??? 😂😂😂😂
Lance Rose My thoughts, exactly! 👍🏼
Lance Rose I saw the errors too. I cringed
Like common sense is not so common !!
But how much of what we think should be the standard actually is?
I don't really like long hair but I'm just watching this because I don't really have anything other to do.
I believe it is pronounced "ho-ho-bah" not "joe-joe-ba". Referring to jojoba oil. I could be wrong. This is how I've always heard it.
Beverly Woods You're not wrong. 👍
YES!!! Thank you :) :)
You’re right
It is ho-ho-ba
Finally one RUclipsr show how to grow up your hair thank you so much 💖❤🙏🏻

2 scoops of honey (with a spoon)
Apply to Hair
Apply Shower Cap and Leave For 20mins
Take your daily shower
And you can also add hair oils but that’s optinal

Since the barber cut my hair way too much i become obsessed to grow my hair in longer!
I have thick hair. It was shiny before too, but people said it looked like a wig 😂😂😂 so I had to burn it with heat products
Oof🤣😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
No pls dont do that. I admire people with hair like yours
Annoying music can be toned down so as not to compete with your voice
Hahahahah
connie celino the music is fine, positive, relaxing and calm.
Thank you for the facts now I actually know how to take care of my hair
I always wondered who are these people who dislikes such useful videos????
This is clearly for non textured hair because most of these tips are BIG NO-NOs for textured hair.
That is EXACTLY what I was thinking. They can rename it How to Break Off Textured Hair.
Coco Bella wyt
Tanks I need my hair to grow a LOT long..
I feel like when they show the black girl in the beginning while stating 'even if your hair isn't perfect' was kind of back handed.
Nessa Jay agreed
They said, "Naturally perfect hair, or not" on the shot with her, witch I guess could be interpreted either way. But since the video's tips seemed mostly (if not entirely) geared towards non curly hair it could be easily interpreted as them non intentionally (or possibly, but not probably, intentionally) saying curly hair is not perfect so why bother. Therefore not giving tips for it... but I can't believe they would concisely (or even unconscious) communicate that...so I guess it's all a matter of perspective.
Honestly I thought the same thing
I caught that too
Nessa Jay yeah really ignorant
I use lemon and jojoba shampo and ayurvedic oil. By the way, amazing video
if you have a natural curl in your hair, you must always comb it so no tangled nots will stay in your hair. :)
Anyone else notice at Jojoba oil the word hair at the end is spelled 'hairm' someone was editing late at night
Yeah and eeggs
It is very helpful video for my hair 😁😁😁😁thanks for this video,,,,,,, 😆😆
Im watching this to make my bangs grow faster-

Yo this is 100% for white ppl💀💀 edit:(hoes mad💀💀💀💀)
That's kinda rude
Kenzi Merchant it’s actually not also question... are you black... cuz if not you wouldn’t under and there’s nothing rude about that statement people online just like starting mess I can express my opinion the way I want freedom of speech first amendment
So if I say that black people look like hippos.. that's considered racist. But due to today's society, your statement is not racist.
It was an example and I didn't mean it literally. Kenzi was right, that was kind of rude, you know.
"A, congratulations, your hair is normal. This is the rarest hair type" Whaaaat?
then why is it called normal
Because having normal hair is rare these days...Lol😅😅😅😀

i cut bangs and my hair above my shoulders and im regretting it sm 😭
I cut my hair uneven and my bff offered to cut only the uneven part the next day in reses she cut it to my shoulders I swear my hair was at my hips before this happened like 2 or 3 months ago I regret EVERYTHING
1:00 NO! Rinse your hair with cold water especially if you have dyed hair. 1:22 The product I recommend is heat protection. You should let it naturally dry if you have non dyed hair, if your hair is dyed, than it’s okay to use the hair dryer considering the fact that you should only wash your hair ones or twice a week if it’s dyed.
HAHAHAHA did anyone else notice "Houw" instead of How HEHEHEHE🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂
Even eegs instead of eggs
oh and hairm instead of hair🤣
Also mof instead of of lol
