I used to do this ALL the time back in minnesota from about 14 years old to 18 years old. Its actually really easy to do on literally any old snowmobile newer than 1980s. Im not an arctic cat fan though lol. Ski-doo all the way! The beef between arctic cat and Ski-doo is actually hilarious. My old step dad at the time actually sunk his sled once. Luckily it was only 2 or 3ft of water and we were able to salvage the sled. Just don't turn the steering wheel when you are on water or you WILL sink. If you gotta turn just lean. Leaning is absurdly important with snowmobiles. Thats why r/c snowmobiles suck balls, they need a rider to function properly. I also used to hate it when id have a girl on the back seat and she would lean the opposite freaking direction that I would lean. Literally my all time biggest pet peeve lol. I'd ussually end up yelling something along the lines of "Lean the way I lean! Are you trying to kill us?!". One time I actually did 4 barrel rolls in my sled going 80, unintentionally of course lol.

Dude watercrossing is so much fun I've got two old Yamaha's that are set up for waterskipping they were like $400 a piece and they go down the river mint
What's funny is that he pretty much never rides sleds, he's not great on a dirt bike, the Maverick was the only toy he actually drove, but for some reason he's insanely talented at driving an old watercross sled 🤣
Option 1 a float with a rope long enough to reach the surface when it sinks. Option 2 add floatation to the sled so it doesn't go to the bottom. Option 3 neither and spend a ton of money finding a sled. BTW look up the fines for sinking a sled and not recovering it. I would hate for you to put something on RUclips to get a big fine.

That little town of a thousand people grows to 50 thousand 4 days in July. Been going on since I was a kid. Its a pretty wild party. I suggest you go one year if you have not.
