Great idea using the ducting to warm the whole van and dry clothes in shower area, must help reduce damp from condensation! Think the installation is way too complicated for my old brain lol Great job as we have seen on all you do Lee 😺👍
Great video. You don't need me to day this but, your doing a great job .the only thing is with the fuel for the diesel heater, I'd put on separate tank for the heater so you could burn agricultural diesel (green diesel here in Ireland) because its a lot cheaper in the long run than using clear diesel, your allowed to use agricultural diesel in a heater ...
Hi Lee. Looking at the solway panel around the shelf and pillars as you have. A quick question how did you cut the panels like the shelf top, did you scribe . As these are expensive i didnt want to screw it up lol. Also did you batten the inside of shelf to take the ceiling slats ?
I scribed the tops and then cut with an angle grinder and cutting disc. Was realty easy to get accurate cut being only plastic. Currently it’s just tight up to the roof. I need to batten it later when I cover the inside sides
This series is really helping with my boxer build, coincidentally I want my diesel heater in the same place as yours but it looks very crammed under the van In that spot, does your van have the adblue system like mine?
Yeah mine has adblue. The heater is further back than the adblue tank. It’s not bad in that spot but you have to be exact with the drilling. It’s clearer closer to the shower room but I wanted it where I fitted it.
@SpyderLEE thanks, I've got about 34inch between the shower and the back of the driver seat so I'm hoping I can get it in, at least now I've seen your video I know it's possible, love the van by the way, and the vids are just the right balance of entertainment and tutorial.

It’s too complicated for me too lol I just do stuff and hope it works

To be honest the fuel consumption is so low on these that it’s never been an issue. I suppose I might be different if I lived in the van.
The Bobil heat exchanger looks like an excellent bit of kit for a campervan.
Yeah I cant wait to try it out properly.
Another great video Lee. that system looks great, looking forward to seeing it all finished and working.
You and me both! It’s took up a lot of my time this year but it’ll be worth it
Top work as usual 😎👍
Thank you! Cheers!

Great content 👍
Can you tell me which core wire is best for 12v ?
Depends on what part of the install you want to use it on. But never use solid core as this is for houses, it will fatigue and break in a vehicle
@@SpyderLEE it would just be for the lights, light switches, and maybe USB is
