In this video we see Benny behind-the-scenes at the Mark and Estell Fall 2015 runway show. It went off without a hitch but it took lots of hair, makeup, and backstage prep for it to go from chaotic to chic. Makeup artist Benny Hancock was there to lead his team of beauty buffs in giving models the perfect, Brigitte Bardot-inspired look. I've worked Mercedes Benz fashion week a few years and yea it is just like this. Chaos but the reward is when you finish and see your work go down that runway. Such a rush! Great vid

Wait when you hear n see designers and Key makeup artists scream so loud that models and photographers jump :)) Trust me! I've worked for some runway shows during the Milano fashion week...all of these are nothing :D

how can you use the same shade of makeup for all the models? that blush looks like it wouldn’t hold up well with anyone past a tanned skin tone. it would make straight up ASH.

why the hack would you glamourize disorganisation? not that the video is doing it, just asking myself in general. I just don't get it why it has to be so chaotic? In every other working environment people would instantly complain but in fashion it looks as if is HAS to be like that.

+Gianne Rosales yea I guess so I didn't think about that. Just feel like they all must have out of body experiences everytime they do a show. Tons of loud voices and feeling. Like they have to be perfect. >.< I just wana hug them and give them cookies lol.
1. Slaves don't choose their profession, nor are they paid. Done.
2. Different people find different atmospheres more conducive towards performance. Some people _live_ for the runway, actors who come alive when they see the red light and then there are people who need to be in front of Excel to feel at home. Also: see 1.

Rachelle Leah it’s stage makeup so it’ll look a little harsher than regular makeup because it needs to be seen off stage.
