- Norseman is well regarded as the toughest triathlon in the world, jumping off a ferry into the freezing waters of the Hardanger Fjord. We follow Ironman World Champion Sebastian Kienle & reigning champ Jon Saeveras Breivold as they battle it out for first place at the 2023 edition of Norseman in brutal conditions!

Definitely on my bucket list, but i'm 60 next year and my bucket's got a few leaks. LOL
Maybe... Next year is IM Wales, then we will see whether there is hunger for a race with even more elevation gain. Certainly, more intriguing as Kona.
It's on top of my bucket list. It's the main reason I decided to give triathlon a go.
I won't try to sign up for another 4 or 5 years though. I can barely stay afloat at the moment.
the Norseman Triathlon is on my bucket list of things not to do. looks like fun, anyway.
I will enter the ballot for both Norseman and Celtman 2024, got a ticket for Celtman this year but couldn't make it due to illness.
What a really great video, GTN. Tough race, magnificent scenery, and great access and openness from Jon and Seb. Well done Jon on pushing through some really tough GI issues for the win. 🏆

I have the feeling that this race is very special and Jan is almost unbeatable.
Losing 5min on the swim means nothing for this course.
If Jan can ride away from Sebi on the bike his W/kg are very very good. Plus the run is extreme. Being fast on normal courses does not help much.

Great job. With only 4 weeks training, good effort. I think I would have done bricks instead of trying to do stand alone runs.
If only Kienle would have got your advice on how he should train before he retired he might have had a noteworthy career in long distance triathlon racing.

Yeah, this year was his farewell tour, no championship races anymore this year and he does not have a trainer as well.
Just trained for himself for fun and did races he wanted to do like New Zealand and Norseman, but before they were too close to races he had to do.
