My problem is that I don't just have plateaus but I go up and down 2 steps forward one step back. I can press 565 one week then only press 550 a couple weeks later but then press 575 a couple weeks after that. I go up and down a lot. I am 56 years old and not sure if that has something to do with it or not. One week I can press 500 for a set of 4 then 2 weeks later 500lbs for a set or 6 or 7, then back to only 5 a fee weeks later. Is that old age since I am in my 50s or am I just training wrong?
As long as you keep your shoulders blade tuck I think it should be good you can do it fast while still keeping decent form stay tight just don't fk up your form to go that fats if your not use to it yet
