Hi Subashini, For biryani powder you have to grind the 8 ingredients that we mentioned in the video. In this video we prepared it for1 kg. It wont take much time to prepare this biryani powder. Its advisable to use fresh biryani masala so that you can feel that freshness in your biryani. if you would like to grind it in advance use those 8 ingredients to make the powder. you can grind the powder for 5 kg biryani and store it and u can use the same when ever required. But you have to be clear like how many table spoon masala will come when you grind it for 1 kg rice so that it will be aware about how many table spoon biryani masala you have to add for 500 g rice or 250g rice. we believe this will help. Salt as needed ( probably 40g sea salt for entire recipe )

Seeraga samba rice - 1 kg
Biryani Masala Ingredients:
