They all look like different versions of the same person
Are we all different versions of the same person?
Are we all different persons of the same version?
I like the quality of your weed
Luke Windle I thought exactly the same
Wow… Uff… Pass the dutchie, please!
I wish I had this many bois to make psychedelic jams with
Most relatable comment I've read on all of youtube. Dope band too.
Wya bro
Where are you based?
@@jonathanmatthews6478 Ann Arbor my guy
@@foxschanzman Ann Arbor, Michigan, United States, Earth
this music smoked all my weed
AGREE!
fuuuuuuuuck
this is some expensive ass music
smells like weed spirit
😹😹😹😹😹
I love that that dude is exactly what you picture when you hear the phrase "Full-time bongo player".
Other than the cost of the synthesizers, everything about this band is exactly what I picture when I hear the phrase "Full-time bongo player".
putting reverb on a bongo is fucking crazy what a sick sound profile these guys are rocking
Dallas 0:00 - 3:50
coke mountain - 3:54 - 14:05
Castor MacDavid - 14:08 - 18:15
Disco Dino/Suite/Suite No. 2 - 18:18
Synth guy is next level. All of his synths pair together so nicely.
he is. We shared the stage in Switzerland. He is young and has an amazing feeling
Bontempi Forever and ever and ever and.....
He's fucking genius__ Some of the stuff he does, I've never heard those sounds implemented into a proper groove. Rzzpekts from Istanbul!!!
Only rarities.
He has a couple songs from 8 years ago on his Soundcloud that are so good. Super talented dude.
Sounds like the soundtrack to some 70s PBS documentary on THC producing beehives
please tell me that's a real documentary
getjac also lets jam homie
@@thunderhandsjohnson1382 I know it's a real documentary of sorts, but didn't see the 70s version. I did, however see an old BBC doc on Hallucinogenics and it included some sweet slow-mo action plus the world through the eyes of a fly, could have been a bee.
I don't think they were born in the 70s
For me it's a soundtrack to a 70s cop show where the protagonist has to catch a ring of drug lords who are selling THC laden honeycomb from THC producing beehives.
amazing live band, saw them in berlin not long ago. they played 2 songs and then their "last song" which was like a 30 min jam, then another encore for another 30mins. they were going wild relentlessly, afterwards the crowd was more exhausted than the band themselves. awesome concert, really danceable, good vibes, chill guys. can't recommend them enough.
I know what you mean. I saw Medeski, Martin and Wood and man I was tired by the time they finished three complete sets with breaks in between. Awesome for sure.
More dudes just kept popping up as I watched the first song
You had me at the dude with bongos
more your comments keep popping up the more i look through here
you'd never know, but it's a 31 piece band
Lol!!
What I would give to be the bongo guy in this band.... just chillin amidst the psychedelic bliss joining in whenever he wants... living the life
Osian Llyr I don’t think the Bongo mics are even on! 🤪
Shouts out to Quentin !
He had the speakers and mics! lol
he literally sold me their last two records yesterday without even mentioning he plays in the band and giving me advices on other great records too, class !
@@SlinkiestTortoise23 get new headphones. And upgrade your grey matter cuz one day it may matter
It's like organic dance music. It's incredible.
Los Bitchos, Yin Yin, and this back to back to back has kept me going all afternoon!
Lol me too. I'd check out Slift too
Yin Yin!!
Transcendental jams, the real stuff right here. The swiss are on to something.
_Favorite_ _track_ : _Castor_ _MacDavid_
From the ''click'' of curiosity, to playing on repeat.
Same! You should check out their music videos - visually amazing!
they were on my watch later for weeks and god i should've watched them sooner
Same here! but two years later. hehe.
They're all rippers but that dude on the synths is next level ripping. PEACE!!!
You're a ripper too! And it's safe to say we're all rippers for being here. #RIP
He's on my level. Which is astronomically high.
Never heard of these guys before but, really nicely done! Just bought their last couple of albums thanks to this video... thanks KEXP for always showcasing great and interesting music!
The keyboardist's touch in music is magic!
Great music by L'Eclair , it bring me back to my childhood when i was savoring un eclair au chocolat.
wow. what I hear (and see): tropical 60s/70s progressive funk, Azymuth synth grooves, blaxploitation movies, Hawaii 5-0-type car chases, and a pinch of Banda Black Rio, all thrown in the mix for maximum effect. Could well be the opening of a 70s Brazilian soap with a statuesque and scantily-dressed woman in Rio, walking by and turning in slow motion to look in disdain at the camera. Trust me, I was there 😁
Very well put, sir, thank you
Seriously though, this prolly is the best music in the world.
man, this band really is a lesson in subtlety. Nothing is done in excess. Loved me this shit
Back in the late 70s-early 80s there was a band called East in my old country Hungary. Very similar style. These guys make great music.
This video is on repeat for about a week already. These sounds touch my deep feelings from my childhood. Thank you, guys!
Coke Mountain - mmmmmm, lovely sounds. The whole world is tapping its foot. The whole set is mesmerising. Thanks so much for this. My computer smells of hash now, and my world just got a little happier.
it's 2020 outside but it's 1979 in that church
Woot
So I thought too - it's a KEXP church! I want a sound stage that's just this. Vague, uncentered cathedral elements for a specific feel without context.
If only I could give this infinite likes...
These dudes played my block party this summer. It was incredible!
How much did they charge ??
I have been playing this on repeat since I discovered it around the beginning of lockdown. My wife says that I have to be the only person who enjoys this music while sober. Is she right?
She's quite wrong, although I certainly enjoy it 3-fold while not sober...
@@andrewshankweiler4950 here is the twist: she suddenly appreciates my taste in music after enjoying a nice bowl, while I am simply incapable of handling even the smallest dose of THC. If pot didn't give me monsterous anxiety attacks I'm sure I would enjoy this music 3-folds more!
Wrong I am sober all the time and love it
still on repeat for me years later
As soon as I saw the maraca dude I knew this was going to be a jam.
"Terminal Passage" will love this
Hail TeePee !!!
Hail TeePee !!!
Was thinking about that myself too.
Excellent music and players, enthusiastic approach and performance, the music itself striking a chord to 70s, but with modern reading. One can hear a pinch or prog monsters Yes, Manfred.Man, P.Floyd etc.The boys keep the rhythm and stay in tune all the time, very lively looking. Appreciate their eagerness and striving for creating such nice pieces. They deserve a good future and many live shows ahead.
Man, this music in the morning, with a cup of tea and working along with this, feels amazing.
Very very good. Sounded like a 60s/70s jazz fusion record at some points, but also a 2040 jazz fusion record at the same time. I love this explosion of electronica, funky guitars and drum grooves and sonic experimentation/texture experimentation that reminds me a little bit of post-rock, while adding psychedelic elements as well. Very unique and interesting blend of sounds.
yeah i hear/see that. def posty vibes with this long build up starting at 7:50. 60s/70s jazz fusion indeed. would add some italian 60s 70s library „crime/porn movie“ music to your genre list. btw - if you like those guys check mild life from australia as well!
this was a sick set, I never was a fan of hard panning core instruments, but loved this one holy crap
Recommended, clicked, that warm synth comes on. That's it I'm hooked!!!!!!
I admit it, I used to be the "they don't make good music anymore" guy a few years ago.
I'm glad I was so wrong..
These guys are AMAZING! Greetings from Brazil!
un vrai voyage musical dans les 70's
Im totally in the living room when I was 5, and staring at the teak speakers with matchsticks my dad had wedged in to stop buzzing when bootiful early 70's music poured out of them
Loving this , KEXP does an outstanding job of bringing Talent I’ve never heard of .🤙🏽
I totally agree. I've got into more bands since I discovered KEXP than at any time in the last 20 years.
These guys are great performers, absolutely great music coming out right now, you would think you'd only here this in the 70s
thank you for playing songs I've wanted to see live for so long
Les gars vous êtes énormes !!! vivement qu'on vous revois !!
Awesome Guitarist. Just stepped into 2020 from the 1970s
can´t stop listening to this concert....!
So old school, drum covers, microphones to amps and the tunes. Fantastic. Thanks.
Vous faites trop plaisir à entendre les gars... et à voir. Transmission de love !
Saw these live a few days ago and it was genuinely one of the best gigs I've ever been to. If you can get out to see them, you won't regret it, even if you have to do something crazy like swerving your bride-to-be at the altar. Long live the Power Of The Jam
I love the guitar work !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you guys, love your amazing music
I'm impressed, perfect music.
This is so amazing, one of the best KEXP performances by far.
wow.. love that kind of music
It`s great session!!!
Thanks!
Glad to find this, thanks as always KEXP

Sounds like a bomb! I remember their magic live performance in Avellino (Italy)
Saw them last night in Amsterdam, what a terrific jam it was!!

Man, he goes hard on those bongos.
Coming back for this again. Such a good mood.
Forget how good this performance is every time I come back, just get lost in it
Beautiful, thanks !!!
wow, pure bliss
How am I just discovering this band, they're so good
Yess! Saw them live in Hamburg before all concerts were cancelled, so glad I did. Bunch of talented musicians and inspiring as well.
Crazy good! Mad groovy! Outrageous!
Literally can't fault anything here 😂
Im expecting a strong finish to a most wonderful night of KEXP, thanx for this jem of a night
Wow awesome! Drummer is fierce... love the telecaster sound! Amazing playing from all involved! What a great act. YEAH!
That`s really good music.
.Great band! It’s like listening something right out off the early 70’s
Qu'est ce que çà fait du bien d'écouter de la bonne musique!!!
This is just amazing guys!
love these guys so down to earth being one of the most interesting newcomers of the last years!
what a trip. thank you.
This set is seriously unreal, im obsessed, I need to see you guys live. The RUclips algorithm has blessed me again.

Fantastic!
incredibly awesome
amazing the swiss music scene is official amazing!!
........and the awesome videography as well!
They are all really great musicians but the keyboarder stands out most in my opinion. He is creating great sounds and atmosphere.
Where have I been the last three years and how did I miss this absolute banger?!??!? Feverishly searching now for any sort of new stuff!
17:12 This gave me the chills and made me cry of pure joy
Today is a good day because I discovered this band...so tasty.
