Is it me, or "Call me up" (11:45) slows down its tempo for a moment every time the cymbal sounds? It's sooo sutile, but the song gets a new cool layer when paying attention to that. I'm just amazed. (Sadly, this doesn't happen in album version).
When I first saw this I thought that was a weird mistake or a lack of rehearsal honestly. But yeah it is definitely super intentional. Super heavy drag on a lot of the hits. Pretty interesting
This is the ultimate version of Pete's music. The live bass and drums make it a whole lot better. The studio albums don't flow 1/8 as well as this. Fcking masterpiece.
khmlwugh is the perfect song to play after call me up. Awesome transition. It's really funny that they did that here (even though the album is different) because when I made a homeshake playlist of my favorite tracks, they ended up in this order too and I guess I got used to it.
