Best to use distilled water for rehydrating, tap water can potentially introduce contamination

I found that if you set the temp at 105F is even better because you preserve enzymes.

You don’t need to dunk for 24 hours. I pour water on it, till it covers the cake. Leave it for 30 minutes, and pour it all out. A day or two later, I have another flush.

It seems better when I air dry they come cleaner and they seem not to shrivel up as much as when I use the dehydrator do they come out the same when freeze dried ?

Ummm... to be honest, I've never froze dried anything. 😆 However, people that I've spoken to all say that freeze drying is the way to go.
