I saw the movie “Between the Temples” this Sunday afternoon and I have learned such a wonderful lesson and message from this movie! Wow 😮 what a message to be brave and break molds of standard and molds we haven impose in ourselves, in addition to pursuing love ❤️ and focusing on what matters Torah and Mitzvots. So glad I went to see this movie 🍿

I was thinking the same thing! I saw it today and really liked it. A very sweet movie and an ode to the Jewish religion also. I am not Jewish, so a couple things went over my head. (Like the meaning of the rabbi's vanity license plate. People giggled, but I didn't get it.)

Many years ago, I was shopping at a thrift store on Melrose Avenue, in Los Angeles, when I heard this voice and I thought to myself, I know that voice, that's... and I turned around and there stood Carol Kane. I couldn't believe it. I smiled, she smiled, and that was it I made it a habit not to interrupt celebrities while they are just doing their own thing, like me, out and about. I might say Hi, if they aren't doing anything and I am walking by... Like Charles Nelsom Riley who came out of a book store I was entering 0- a shop that carries scrits and plays. He said Hi first.
Another time, I was purchasing something in a small shop at Fred Segal in Santa Mon ica, and after I paid for my item, I turned to leave, but the person next in lie was directly behjind me so I had to side step to walk around them, but when I saw this person, I jumped like som,ething startled me - because it was startline, really, lol. I just didn't expect to see Julian McMahon (of Nip & Tuck, Fantastic Four, and Melrose Place)

This looks pretty decent. Will give it a watch. Did anyone else hear of another Jewish themed film called “Three Blacks and a Jew Walk Into a Bar”. I read somewhere it has Oscar potential but was banned at all film festivals. The journalist said wokeness caused judges to discriminate against it. The trailers up on RUclips but movie not released. As far as I know.

I just saw it today. Go see it if you can. It's a very sweet movie and also a bit of a love story to Judaism. I am not Jewish but truly enjoyed it.

"Kinds of Kindness" is probably one of the worst films that I have EVER seen! My friend and I walked out.

They are free and have been for 1000’s of years. Unlike Jews who were conquered by the Roman’s 3,000 years ago (in Israel called Judea and Samaria) by the Spaniards during the inquisition (convert or die) by the Russian Cossacks (leave Russia or die-watch Fiddler on the Roof), by Adolph Hitler and the Nazis (watch Schindler’s List or the movie the Holocaust) by the Arabs (Israel attacked by 7 Arab neighbors in 1948, 1967, 1973, the intifada in 2000, 10,000+ rockets into Israel since 2007 from Hamas and Hezbollah, October 7th 2023 Hamas terror attacks, Jewish college student harassment in America) but somehow the Jews never complain they are NOT free or never say that another people or culture don’t have a right to exist even when Muslims have said forever that Israel has no right to exist (it’s literally in Iran’s constitution and Hamas and Hezbollah’s charters). The only thing here that is not free is your mind. It’s been brainwashed over and over by indoctrination like a Palestinian child at 3 years of age in textbooks and videos to be taught to hate and kill Jews (like Hitler brainwashed adults to do the same). Propaganda is very powerful and effective. And you are promoting it here. So do us a favor for once on this film site. Stop.
p.s. there are 2 billion Muslims in the world compared to 15 million Jews. There are 20+ Arab nations in the Mideast and only one Jewish state (the size of NJ). Israel gave the Palestinians Gaza in exchange for “peace”. Look where it got them. But of course there’s always a double standard for the Jews. From the river to the sea right? What about the billions of square miles of vacant land in the mid East some of it with rich oil underneath that could be donated to the Palestinians instead of barren desert with little or no resources that is Judea which was always home to the Israelites 3000 years ago before the Roman’s conquered the Jewish Temple’s (like King David). But that would be too easy a solution. Then Palestinians (invented in 1964 by terrorist Yasser Arafat) would have no cause to stay at war and try to annihilate the Jews. It’s never been about land. It’s about ridding ALL Jews from Israel and or killing them all as enemies of Muslims. And if so, where should the very small world’s population of Jews go? Back to Auschwitz I guess.
