As a Millia player, I felt those whiffed inputs so hard. 5:07 no hair car 6:13 no Winger 7:28 no 5D 10:05 no Winger 10:09 no Winger (would've died for it though)
So far, I have felt that Millia needs to be approached similarly too I-No in the sense that you need to adjust your gameplan to deny them knockdowns as much as possible because their mix is too strong to defend against reliably once they get you knocked down. (Hotashi has a video on this with I-No where he broke down I-No's mix and came to the conclusion that rather than understand the knockdown situation, understand how to stay out of the knock down situation) I play Ram so the way I do this is to use my f.S, 5H, j.S and 6P to keep her from getting in my face and play really slowly until she makes a mistake and I get to convert to a hard knockdown. Maybe Nago can do something similarly
Millia's neutral is not great, she kind of has to gamble on airdash/dash momentum jump ins or run up 5K/2K. You can control space with 2S and 5P/6P antiairs. Don't get knocked down (throw is the hardest to avoid for me personally), and be ready to react to jump cancels off of 5K and c.S on block. I rarely press H normals in neutral, she's too fast for that shit. Oh yeah, and you should rarely burst on c.S. She can get up, brush her teeth, come back and still block your burst. This is my (very basic) approach at least, but I pretty much only play vs Walter's Millia. From what he tells me, Millia's on tower never do jump cancel IAD FD cancel jump normals. 🤷
Millia trades most of her tools for insane setplay/mixups and movement. She deals no damage (great potential damage due to resets, low actual damage), has poor defensive options (no dp, slow moves overall) and the second lowest health in the game. If you could block Millia consistently, she would just be the worst character in the game.
2:17 Hotashi turned into LTG
These matches only show a glimpse of Walter's psychopathic power, good stuff my man
Walter EVOLVED ya love to see it
>>Exits Blood Rage
>>Disk in face
>>Millia swiping at the knees

"Oops."
Lingus playing over this millia nago set is mesmerizing. So many parts of the song lined up perfectly with the pace of the battle it's wild

Millia players are a truly fascinating breed.
Jesus Christ so it's not just me getting mixed 6 ways to death by that flying hairball
What the fuck is the mental approach to this match up as Nago

5:34 absolute demon. Only thing I was thinking about after the challenge on blocked charge dust.
Always nice to see a nago player humbled
grow up you may player
Hotashi:"YOU KILLED ME"
Walter:"Good"
That salty set count box, though.
The fact that the climax of these sets happened during Cory's insane keyboard solo in lingus is the so fucking perfect
And here I thought Milla being my worst matchup was just a me thing. It happen to all of us I think.
Walter is a nice crazy millia

I'm glad to know not even the Evo champ can consistently block Millia. Guess I've been hard on myself for nothing
bro if literally anybody was able to consistently block millia she would just be straight up garbage lmao
@@CaptainNoobzor if someone could consistently block Millia everyone else should give up and go home, he already won
