- Place 4 fully cooked chicken breasts (or whatever part you prefer) into the KitchenAid Mixer. Make sure your chicken is still warm. With your paddle attachment connected and chicken inside the mixer, turn it onto low. Once the chicken is broken up a bit you can turn it onto a higher speed. www.thepinningmama.com for more fun tutorials!
Just add in 8 oz. of cream cheese (room temp) a TBSP on mayo, 1 pk of dried cranberries and toasted almonds, 1/4 tsp of curry, 1 tsp on lemon juice,1 tsp. of lime juice and you will have the yummiest chicken salad, ready to serve in minutes!
I like you. That's lunch sorted for a week.
Where is the salad?
I recently replaced ground beef with shredded chicken for our taco's.They taste great, but shreddin' that damn chicken is worse than doing the dishes. This is a great life-hack!
Well, strip my gears and call me shiftless. Great idea :-)
I love my Kitchenaid mixer and this hint will def help me with some of my recipes like my chicken & dumplings, The meat is usually so hot when I try to shred it that it burns my fingers using a fork and knife to shred it. This will save me time & my fingers tomorrow. Thank you!!! :)
Very cool Thanks for this. I was wondering which attachment to use. Great job! Thank you
Lol i am going to try to make Chicken salad chicks’ Lauryns lemon and basil chicken salad. Wasn’t sure it would get fine . Going to try this and then hand mixer if needed!
This couldn’t be easier. Thanks for the great idea.
Can I put hot chicken in the mixer?
