This is a good idea for a video, I like how Nick got into the details of how specifically he wanted her to sing the notes. Felicia is a really impressive voicebank. I think you guys should do more videos that show how to get the most out of the singers. Also it's quite cool to see how kanru himself uses the software and his thinking process.
Also I agree that synthv is an instrument and not just a tool, that's what I like about it because it can be featured in its own right in a song while still being convincing as a voice, but simultaneously highly flexible and manipulable as an instrument, which makes it very useful for composers and producers compared to the limited options you had before, you can really sculpt voices into your ideal performance.
Best Dreamtonics demo song ever! And Felicia has the best voice too. Thanks for putting this video together. It's really useful. I'm still working on my first Felicia song, but finding her voice so inspirational to work with. I have been hoping for a voice of exactly this soulful character since I first found Synth-V a couple of years ago.
Excellent video. You are so kind to share all your knowledge to all of us. Kanru, congratulations for starting this great project named Synthesizer V. Miguel, you are very good for teaching on your videos (Eres muy bueno para enseñar en tus videos). Nick, congratulations for creating this song for Felicia voicebank, and thank you for sharing also your knowledge to us. Great.
I'm glad you're going into tuning techniques. It's one thing to go over the controls and how to use them. It's another to teach expression, which there is barely any of out on the web.
Nice video, thanks. I was particularly interested in everything Kanru (I hope I get the name right) had to say. He clearly knows his stuff! Please make more videos with him!
I've been doing gospel music for over 50 years and now I have vocals that can match the different styles I love to play. I'm going broke (in a good way) buying each of the AI singers for their warmth and strength when recreating songs from my past.
Synth V is awesome. I got Felicia and I like her voice a lot. Play around with the gender and tone will change the voice into someone else completely. The chalange is dealing with the "es" parts, especially with letter "f". I have to play around with it's duration and strength to get the right balance. Even from your demo "show me" I still can hear the "f" a bit harsh. And honestly u have to fix it during programming. I tried to fix it using de-esser later during mixing and it doesn't work. Just have to be patient and pay attention to detail. Anyway, good work guys ❤❤👍👍😍😍
This is a little off topic, but I would like the developer to listen. I have been requesting improvements to the specifications for quite some time now, regarding vertical and horizontal scrolling. 8:01 Like this person, most users have to go to the trouble of aligning the mouse cursor with the very small scroll bar at the bottom of the screen and drag it to scroll horizontally, which involves inefficient operation. FL STUDIO DAW software has a specification that allows you to freely scroll vertically, horizontally, and diagonally by simply holding the mouse wheel click and dragging at any point in the work area, thereby improving work efficiency. I know that horizontal scrolling is possible in combination with shortcut keys such as CTRL and ALT on the keyboard, but this is not efficient because you cannot work with one hand and have to use both hands each time. If click-hold-and-drag of the mouse wheel becomes possible, it will be possible to scroll freely in any number of vertical, horizontal, and diagonal directions with only one hand and by simply lifting the mouse. It should not be technically difficult, so please enable scrolling by mouse wheel click hold and drag. Please do so.
Can we get svp files? When the demo first came out, i noticed a lot of curves automation (especially tension, gender and tone shift iirc on top of vocal modes already mentioned in the video) and started applying it to my project. And it improved dramatically. One thing i found out was, matching (or rather easing in and out) tension curve to the end and start of a note and also lowering it on consonants. This reaulted it less harsh explody consonant and more smooth notes without losing power
Can you please make 4 choral voices and 6 operatic voices? Especially a baritone like the main singer here: ruclips.net/video/tCTScSVpN38/видео.htmlsi=4zHghpNKvW6yANT6 I already got 5 voices from you, but want to build a quartet for orchestra.
although I think the vvideo is really interesting, I thought the video title suggestedit would show the real singer and how the technology works to go from real voice to voicebank
SynthV is a game changer, the best piece of software I have bought this last decade!
Totally agree.
Wonderful stuff.
Just wish it would do choirs so I could use it for my choral music.
@@petergreen1869 absolutely agree! A realistic singing choir that does not just say random words

Everyone: How much reverb are you going to put on those BV's?
Nick Trepka: Yes.
;)
Great job on this - I just picked up Felicia based on this demo.
awesome video please more of those behind the scene :)

Really appreciate this video. Please keep making content like this. Thanks!
Awesome video. Thanks for sharing this. Great song!
I like the Switzerland shirt ❤
thank you for this vivdeo.

Awesome content, you just got one customer more :) On how many computers can I activate the licences?
You can activate them on up to 3 machines.
great tricks!

I would've liked a video about the creation process of these voices instead. A 30 second bit of 'well it's a real singer' is kind of underwhelming.

@@PowerRedBullTypology it doesn't say "how we made Felicia".
