    A mix of Vic Fuentes, Deryck Whibley, Tom Delonge, Alex Gaskarth and Tyler Joseph. Sounds interesting.

    I can't sing loud, I'm very breathy and I really can sing loud, like my voice is so soft

    • @zee8929
      @zee8929 4 года назад +4

      In order to avoid breathyness stop pushing as much air. In order to get louder push air out faster but still the same amount as when you sing piano.

    I would use a combination of Maynard James Keena from Tool, Patrick Stump from FOB, Brendon Urie, Tyler Joseph from TØP, and Jon Bellion. I just love the pop-punk-style these people bring to their songs.

      it’s all about using the acoustic layout of your skull and finding your chest to head range. figure out when and where you switch from your chest to your head voice.
      also working down the scale helps! the lower you go, the more breath you need to support the lower octaves. make sure you relax your vocal folds and do exercises that go downward in your range until you can’t lower. use your diaphragm rather than your chest to support the lower notes.
      i hope this helps, although it’s four years later haha

    hey Doug I am a drummer. not a singer haha. I have been wanting to sing for a while now and there is a specific band I love called The Starting Line. I per say don't want to try and sound like him. I want to be able to just sing the song without me having to sing it like bass notes. I can hit notes in a low octave but cannot hit them in my normal speaking voice or higher pretty much. Any advice on I guess finding my voice?

    I feel like Patrick Stump, Brendon Urie, Tyler Joseph, and Gerard Way should be off limits because all I see in the comments are “Literally the emo trinity and fucking Tyler Joseph” it’s not creative or unique when everyone is just gonna just idolize them. I mean everyone has a different voice so it will be unique in a way but I feel like you could try someone else that doesn’t do pop punk or punk at all like Dave Mustaine from Megadeth (Thrash Metal) his voice is like a higher pitched Lemmy impersonator! That would sound awesome in punk like Billie Joe Armstrong combined with Dave Mustaine would be interesting. All I’m saying is to try other bands then mcr panic! Fob tøp, etc. I’m not saying they are bad bands because there was a time when I was obsessed with mcr and panic! and tøp. Just try something else you might like it...
