Nice job guys on the stand. Great table setup done to. Great feed on your new table. You went all out today steak and salads. Not easy. Looks like ye had a fantastic day. Nice video. I be looking forward to your bear hunt in the stand if the bears don,t destroy it. Take care.
Hi Bob! Here in Nova Scotia a bunch of hunters was trying to get a spring bear hunt but guess the officials didn't think it necessary. I've never tried bear meat so I won't hunt for them. Be a terrible waste of a life if I shot and killed one and not like the taste. Course there's always someone that would use it but still. I was taught to eat what I kill. Lovely stand you guys built. Great setup. Try burnt honey for an attractant. Bears will walk right in if he's smells burnt honey.
Hello!" Nice looking bear stand. It was nice watching you both build it. Takes a little time on prepping everything.Good luck on catching your bear when the day gets near
i’m not a hunter but love the stand. i’d be up there with a chair, and a book on a lovely Summer day. enjoy. that’s a huge bear population for you folks. wow
Stalking is ok and chasing birds but really getting into the forest go to the stand. Dawn to dusk, days at a time. Such peace will come and game. Thanks for the good show again.
I'm a hankering after tip top cookies..I have hard tack due to sisters visit..I'm 79 so I know purity biscuits well guys..keep the flame going boys..perfect
Love this video. Good luck on the harvesting of a few bears. The only thing I would have done differently is maybe make the roof just a tad bit bigger then it is. Maybe make it square to cover more of the seating area. Just my thoughts. Catch you on the next video.
Hey good to see you back. what a great job on the tree stand & a beautiful day to construct it. that was quite a nice meal you made up for all the hard work done. Look forward to seeing bear harvest soon. loved the content .
You are a master chef 💪, you built 🎉a very good stand. I have stopped bear hunting, I did once, I just don't like to kill a animal that I can't eat the meat. Bonne chasse.🤣🤣
I never take bear spray with me when I am in the woods. I come across many black bears but I find if I whistle or make a loud noise the bear runs. I notice you don't carry bear spray either. Do you feel you don't need it? That is how I feel.
I'd love to try bear hunting but I live on the Avalon ... the only place in the province you can NOT hunt bear .. just my luck .. LOL Good luck with it!
Not to be negative, and I don't mean that way, but your floor is going to squeak, you need a 1/8 in gap between floor boards. It may be a good idea to run the chainsaw and make the gap. I made that mistake and it cost me, every time I moved, it would squeak..
You got the high railing in alright, but you forgot the lower railing for after you’ve had a few. 😀 Don’t forget something higher, behind you, so they can’t see your heads pop up as easily. And your channel has taken the all important Sunday night line up, so I like your channel, but that way of putting a grill in is the silliest thing I’ve seen in a long time. I honestly wish you good luck this year with the bear, and hope you try coyote again….and film it!
Hard to tell, but what was left of that moose carcass seemed to indicate a mature animal. Coyotes and black bears take a heavy toll on moose calves but will not take on a full-grown moose. That animal likely died of a gunshot wound or natural causes and was scavenged by other animals. How did you manage to not burn down the forest by building a fire in the middle of dried dead leaves and against a tree?
Who interdouced the Coyotes to Newfoundland or were the always there in New Brunswick they brought here by Irving to kill mice that were eating seedlings on his tree plantion now they are out of control
Got a lot accomplished in a day Bob. Looking forward to seeing the harvest of a few bears.
Hopefully

Wow! Bob and Robert that was a tremendous amount of work. Hope it pays off for you in the months to come. Have either of you ever shot a bear?
Yes alot of years ago
I chained a 5 gal propane tank to a tree and opened the 80% screw just a crack to let a whiff out on the wind. Good luck hunting.
Nice thanks

Great video Bears are a problem out west as well. I love your treestand just curious what did you use for the roof canvas?
Felt fabric

Nice, I enjoyed the video. Do you bow hunt for the bears or gun? Take care and stay safe.
Bow and gun but gun this time
I was wondering why you lite your fire at the base of a tree ? I see a lot of people doing it .Won't that kill the trees ?
Lots of trees 🌳
You better get hunting
@@danielgosselin6634 soon

Tricks of the trade
I thought you said beers...
Lol no
Good luck. do you hunt coyote , if so how?
We don't hunt them anymore
How do you stop the bears from taking the barrel.
It's cabled to the tree
Who interdouced the Coyotes to Newfoundland or were the always there in New Brunswick they brought here by Irving to kill mice that were eating seedlings on his tree plantion now they are out of control
I don't think the biologists know how they got here maybe the ice fields north of us in the winter but why now
Another interesting video Bob. Thanks for bringing us along. Good luck in harvesting your bear.
Good luck on bear 🐻 and coyotes in the tree stand . 😊
Great video.
Thanks
