The entire point of this show was to point out the hypocrisy about it being OK to act racist towards chinese, while if you even say the color "black" people will start screaming and crying out "RACIST! RACIST!". I guess the message got lost in translation.

Very funny, just good humour it’s healthy to have a little fun with each other’s cultures and habits we find curious. Nothing offensive or racist at all.
Of course it is a bit offensive, as satire and free speech should be...

You dont have to like it but as long as its not a crime you cant do anything about it. Didi Prangsak Well yeah, the GDP is very different; there’s a huge population difference too. Of course it’s got a hella lot less money and shit... money isn’t everything. We’re able to give our society good medcare and other things because of our economy, with the amount of population we have right now, we don’t need much more money and food and stuff, it’s going good for us with the things we’ve got.
That video posted to chinese social media took things too far. It’s not at all obvious that it’s satire and ”a play on racist stereotypes”. Without the context of the swedish show It just comes of as playing into stereotypes and being offensive.
However, overall this episode as a whole did show a balanced view of China from a swedish perspective.
We ackownledge that China has built some great things. We ackowledge that it’s hypocritical when ”racism” against chinese is still more acceptable than racism against black people.
But we still will never back down from calling out the Chinese government on dictatorship and holding political prisoners

@@MrHuangyiping Det finns en förmögenhet av information om Xiangjiang till och med filmer och bilder från inuti dessa läger. En kompis pappa har levt nästan hela sitt liv där. Han har mycket att säga om hur han och andra uyghurer har blivit behandlade.
@@TheAxdev vad heter din kompis pappa? hur kan jag få kontakt? vart är dessa filmer och bilder? jag har letat och inte hittat något förutom att det finns "läger" för att lära vissa av deras kulturer som är i princip indianer, att läsa, snacka mandarin o.s.v (integrera sig i samhället) och få ett bättre liv än de hade innan.

I am Chinese. In the Chinese social media, most people including me are not happy with what the Chinese tourist has done and support the Swedish police. However, this program is really racist and totally would alter Chinese people’s impression about Sweden totally. I am totally disappointed.
