RE: Feel No Pain mechanic: I mean, the Flayer CAN conceivably hand out a Pain token to a friendly within 6" if/when it scores crits in melee (which you'd be a fool not to spend 2 EP to give Toxin Coating giving it Lethal 5+), but that's very situational and likely won't happen until turn 2 at the earliest.
Agree with your assessment that it's more of a win-more faction ability and the rare situation where the compendium rule is preferable.
Yeah, like it's not horrible but just not something you can really rely on
Just got around to watching this review. The Mandrake kill team preview in the second release of season 3 inspired me to break out the Hand of the Archon and try them out. Appreciate the review!

6+ feel no pain is so dang good with elixicant. Have him work a flank with flayer and duelist. Can heal on a turn flipping combat drug to give movement, helping melee elves rush in, and keeping them alive to go full vitamix.

The bird only works for skysplitter assassin like you've said, so no, you cannot shoot them with a blaster

Sorry for the noob question, I'm new to this game. Can someone give an example of a situation when the use of Heinous Arrogance ploy would be good?

@@CanYouRollaCrit people are currently debating on the discords if they are better than corsairs, which is wild to me lmao. I get it I love my corsairs. I just won a tournament with them but hand is just better lol
Feels like the team was OP during testing and got toned down in really odd places

Mainly power from pain and the secondaries
It’s as if they were playing the same build and kept making those incrementally worse without realizing people can just avoid them (or ignore the mechanic) and still be stronf
PfP feels just like they went with the original codex rule sadly ):
Darklight balance (capped at 2 weapons) is probably the main thing they caught in testing

I asked in particular because of the misreading of how their marking works, as that might have been a significant reason why you thought of them as being very strong.
However, I also don't quite see why you consider them to be stronger than Corsairs. Is it just the Drukhari melee specialists being better?

Nah, stun grenades work the same way since the game dropped
