Nobody has done it yet so Baby rex doo doo do doo Baby rex doo doo do doo Baby rex doo doo do doo is all claimed Mama rex doo doo do doo Daddy rex doo doo do doo Mama rex doo doo do doo are all dead.
Loving the series man. The only disadvantage I can see in claiming the babies is that you do not get any sort of level boost like you do from taming the adults. It is, however, a fantastic way to get some of these dinos in the super early game. I mean, you can claim the babies before you can get tranqs, so... :D
i have seen a video that if you tame the parent of a baby, the baby then gets a lvl boost when you tame it. i dont have the game to try it out, but there is a video about it, i cant remember the tuber that posted it off hand, but it does seem possible.
Yeah I don’t think I’ve seen one yuty, aquatic tames or therizis have any babies following them around. They’ll probably change that eventually. Really wish we had a list of creatures that do and don’t have babies. :/ still a great vid Phlinger!!!
Apparently wild claimed babies grow up faster than regular babies, so it's recommended to fly larger babies all the way back to base before claiming them, or they might get too big to carry (until cryopods are added). Didn't know about avoiding other parents while doing that, thanks.
Be VERY careful carrying unclaimed babies away. If their parent is dead and you carry them too far away they will instantly vanish upon dropping them! EDIT: Ok saw you did this later and it didn't despawn. Intersting, because I did this with a pair of Ovis babies and they vanished on me the second I dropped them. Both of them.
SuperDoDo reminds me of my Dad's pet parakeet Elmer. Elmer had a white head and green wings with blue tips. All SuperDoDo needs to do is say "pretty boy" and " go to hell" ( the latter due to my brother).
Man I swear Argy expressions are even more disapproving in ASA than they were in ASE! That argy glare of 'stop yapping you stupid human and do something useful' is even better in Unreal lol.
I thoroughly enjoy the hell out of this series lol. This is always the area ( but snow side)where I build my permanent base for the Island. ( and plan on it again.) I am always hoping you explore the snow area on an Argy, so I can see the coastline and how the resources for oil and metal have changed in ASA) Seeing these traps, tames in the traps, etc all close to where I did mine, brings back great memories, lol. I always play solo, and on official, no need or desire for a tribe. ZERO drama this way, or if something is moved I know whwre it is..because I was its only user haa. I can't wait for PS5 to release..if it ever does, haa. My ONLY complaint about this series, and it's a selfish one, is I wish the episodes were longer haa. I look forward to starting my mornings with a new episode from you every day. Thanks, it IS appreciated!
As much as i am looking forward to seeing thylas, megatheriums is where its at. Also if the island looks this good, i cant wait to see abberation in all its glory
I think I figured out that if you kill the parent and then claim the baby you get whatever level it is. But if you find an orphan in the wild and claim it you get the 50% level bonus like you do when you tranq and tame regularly. It also seems that when your tame kills the parent at least sometimes I still get that 50% level bonus when I claim the baby, so it’s not like I killed the parent my tame did.
Wow, what a change from A:SE, just grabbing and raising the baby dinos instead of having to build intricate taming pens and craft expensive tranq darts and so forth.
The only disappointing thing I've found so far is the breeding interval at .01 with Pteranodons at least is almost 4 hours. Finding babies is probably going to be a necessity.
I am very curious about what would be better taming a high-level Dino, or getting a high level baby and raising it might be a good for sciencing episode
Hey Phlinger. I have a question will like ur tames or anything in ark evolved transfer to Ark ascended? Or not. I play on console and for us PlayStation players suck because we have to wait prob until late November to play. Rn I’m just chillin playing ark evolved 😂😂
I normally get annoyed by the tune..., but honest to death, the baby Rex bit was my favorite bit phlinger ever did... made by the delayed ear-worm comment after😂❤
He refers to the mountain east of the volcano, west of “giga mountain” which is the closest peak to carnivore island. Therefore, the 3 mountains north of the swamp and the redwoods are, East to west, giga, metal, and volcano
In some cases? Maybe. But in general? I disagree. I look at it like this, if you see a 150 Rex baby, it's only ever going to be a 150 Rex. If you knock out a 150 Rex it's going to tame into a 250+ beast. It's too easy for sure, I wouldn't remove it, instead I'd make babies passive tames that dont increase in level once tamed. Much more balanced that way I think.
@@Rey-eq4vq Yeah and that's about the only way it balances though. On the other hand you get to skip the whole knock out and tame part, you can just grab something right therein the wild without any taming pen, nothing. Often this has let me grab a lower level tame that has been a very good stepping stone to a later tame. It also lets you by pass unique mechanics or taming requirements, like grabbing an Ovis baby before you can easily make veggie cakes. I'm certainly not saying it should be removed, just that it does trivialize some things compared to not having it.
Hey Philinger, can I ask a favor? I know it is odd to ask but something in me can't stand the way you organize your inventory... can you change it to Alphabetical order? Thanks in advance
06:50 Why would you love not being able to see behind you?....seems kind of dumb to me when i can see behind me while seated on pretty much anything in real life......moronic choice by the devs IMO.
U know, the conversations u have with ur dinos makes me wonder sometimes. It does make me smile though so keep being u phlinger lol
Stone cold! Orphaned them baby trikes and simply flew away. Lol
This is what happens when you play Ark solo...you start having conversations with your pets.
Its perfectly normal
Nobody has done it yet so
Baby rex doo doo do doo
Baby rex doo doo do doo
Baby rex doo doo do doo is all claimed
Mama rex doo doo do doo
Daddy rex doo doo do doo
Mama rex doo doo do doo are all dead.
Lol Phlinger you always know how to make me laugh. :) love the episodes.♥
Been missing that Super Dodo Look! man its been a while....
That interaction was great
Baby rock golem would be awesome looking
The animosity between you and your dinos is hilarious 😂
This is quickly turned in to the Lord of the flies movie.😂
Phlinger, just a quick question: how is your mental health? 😂😂 because i'm loving your energy and your amazing videos
Love this series as always but you need a Thyla asap lol

Hey Phlinger, you can find anky on herbivore island and very reliably both ankies and doedics in the snow biome.
Omg you can carry babies?! Thats game changing
Halfway through the vid thinking I'll die of laughter if he names Rex Cuddlles lmao.
I had two Gigas I named Precious and Fluffy.

Hey phlingeeer 😊 superdodo looks so good. Best colours
Baby allo looks so cool!
You could always carry repair mats in your argy for your xbow repair.. that would at least save you some weight
Ugh, I finally took a break from Studying to buy this and Im downloading it right now, Im pretty excited I can't lie

FYI you can open a loot drop from the outboard pylons as well. Can be useful sometimes.
The Phlinger Hotel. Where the Dino Costumer is always right.
they did make that waterfall just for you 😁
you should definitely build at those ruins
I think baby Yutis would also be great
That song is going to be stuck in my head. Lol did you look on herbivore island? Have a great weekend Phlinger. Coffee cheers!

I think that was when they were having problems with babies falling through the floor.
@@cbraddy629 Hmm I guess that could be a possability.
They still fall..i highly recommend the Where Did They Go mod

You do not have to kill the parents if you have a Argy. You can swoop in and still it and take it back to base and claim it there
P.S. it is also a good idea to drop it in a pen because it will try to run off as soon as you drop it
😂😂😂 Loved this episode!
What a great introduction. 😂
Did I get the "Baby Shark" song stuck in your head from "Alpha Shark, doo-doo-do-doo" reference the other day?
(Mwah-hahahaha...)

super do do got Phlinger on his menue
Great episode, Phlinger. 👍
OMG! Can you imagine a baby Thyla gaming in a tree? ❤
You can zoom in and out on a dino in third person but i dont know how
As much as i am looking forward to seeing thylas, megatheriums is where its at. Also if the island looks this good, i cant wait to see abberation in all its glory

Will the Maewing be able to help you steal and raise wild babies when there added to the game ?
The only disappointing thing I've found so far is the breeding interval at .01 with Pteranodons at least is almost 4 hours. Finding babies is probably going to be a necessity.
We need longer video !!!
There are some ( wild ) babies with mutations already. a level 50 parent with level 52 baby.
I am very curious about what would be better taming a high-level Dino, or getting a high level baby and raising it might be a good for sciencing episode

Not sure about Doeds but I do know that you can find Ankies on Herbivore Island
I don't like that the feeding trough has a small radius. Now you have to put down more troughs
I normally get annoyed by the tune..., but honest to death, the baby Rex bit was my favorite bit phlinger ever did... made by the delayed ear-worm comment after😂❤
Amazing 🎉🎉🎉
I think perry should be short for periwinkle 😅
Do you have to kill the parent when you can carry the baby? Does it become claimable at some range? Are there baby Gigas?
Do you typically not use firearms due to expense and weight of the ammo?
Phlinger once he unlocked uses the longneck, to go after the bigger dudes, and fab shotgun, usually in these series
Hey Phlinger! What happens if you tame a parent dino??
You can claim the baby. I got a baby turtle after I tamed the mom
Can anyone tell me in which series Phlinger builds his base in herbivore island?
Underdogs
If you tame the parent(s) you will claim the babies at the same level as the tamed level it appears
So can you not get baby dinos from flyers?
In the trailer it showed baby agents next to their parent.
No unfortunately it’s not a thing, even if the trailer shows baby argies.
Which mountain is metal mountain? Kind of wish Phlinger would show his map more often
He refers to the mountain east of the volcano, west of “giga mountain” which is the closest peak to carnivore island. Therefore, the 3 mountains north of the swamp and the redwoods are, East to west, giga, metal, and volcano
👍👍🤗🤗
The baby system in my opinion is both good and bad. I like it but it also makes getting tames almost trivial in some cases.

@@JohnVanderbeck oh yeah, I didn't think about ovis, another good one to catch as a baby would be equus as well. I hate taming equus normally lol.
its nice and easy to snag up a dino by killing its parent but you can gain a few extra levels if you tame the parent and then claim the baby. fyi
You're ally need an otter for the weather.
