When I was a teenager 60 years ago, my father’s cousin was studying Agriculture at U of C Davis. He gave a fellow student a Book of Mormon. A few days later the student told my father’s cousin that what was written in the B of M about olive trees was just learned 15 years before.
Nothing to do with olive trees. There had been some problems at the university, so my dad’s cousin ask if he could have a plot of ground to grow some onions. When they were ripe my friend Jackie and I tried eating some; they had the flavor of onions but were as sweet as an apple! I kept expecting to see them on the market but ever did.

The olive leaf is also used. Pick, clean, dry. Mulse and make herbal tea. Good for the 💜
