This is the Austin that I once loved. Thanks for this vid. I'm not writing the city off any longer because of you. I left Texas for Arizona in 2000 and came back 15 years later. Austin was not what I remembered. I'm now in a rural no city place outside of Waco now. Haven't touched Austin other than the airport and was dearly scared and disappointed so never hung around as I used to. Not falling for bbq meat again. Because of your bbq videos of the Hill Country, Dallas, and Fort Worth, I bought 2.6 lbs of brisket, 1 lb of baby back ribs, 1 lb of sausage at Rudy's BBQ in Round Rock Texas. The fat from the meats made me nauseous. I threw out almost all of the meat after I sampled each. I'm sticking to filet mignon when beef is my choice.
