I got my bike (beautiful, red Grand Canyon 5) yesterday, but there was no shock pump in the bag :(
Is this expected? Or should I contact support to send one to me?
Yes, surprisingly easy... I found the hardest part getting the dropper lever tight on my bars
What kind of pedal grease should I use when installing?
Very disappointed. I know that Canyon have a number of bikes in the Grand Canyon range but this helps me not one bit. The components on this bike and those that came mine (GC8) are different. The rear mech hangar is different. Took me about a week to figure out how to hang it. The rear axle I was supplied is too short and has no quick release like in the video. Fed up of having this laying in my front room. Will have to get a bike shop to sort it out for me now. Canyon - can you answer me this. Why have some people who have bought this bike received it with the rear mech and bike wheel installed and others like me not? It would make things a hell of a lot easier if we didn't have to do all this fancying around. Whenever I've bought bikes in the past the rear wheel has been installed. I really want to love this bike but so far it's just been a headache. Won't be buying Canyon again.
dream bike, may i know the size of the bottom bracket please? is it 68-73mm? and the spindle size pls...
It's a Shimano Pressfit BB-MT500, with 89,5/92mm. The spindle size is 24mm.
