I love this series! Always informative and always making me hungry! The thing I like best though, are the hosts. Unlike so many other shows of this type, where the hosts think they are comedians, they don't try to make it about themselves, they instead focus on the restaurants and the food. Bravo! A very happy subscriber.
Just got back from a sunny Sunday afternoon meal at the Clam Box. Six of us-and everybody left full and happy. Great food all around, and cooked perfectly!!! We do not live too far away and were trying to figure out why we had not been there in such a long time. That's something that will change!!!
the owner of Clam box passed away and she also was part of family ownership. Tony's clams is the second oldest seafood restaurant still on Quincy shore drive till the very day .
No closed in fall and winter . Clam Box and Tiny clam shop are both family owned and only opened in spring and winter . I'll be living only 5 minutes from both famous seafood restaurants in North Quincy.👍🏽👍🏽😊
This one is on Quincy shore drive and 5 minutes from Tony's clams shop Their both family owned in spring to fall over 50 years of opening time. I live 5 minutes from both classic restaurants in Quincy Massachusetts

You should try Ronnie's on Rt 20 in Auburn Massachusetts. Fresh fish. He gets it fresh every morning on the docks around Boston area and drives it back. Started with 3 deep fryers now probably 15 or more. Summer there is a line and it will take you 15 minutes or more to order. Worth every penny. That guy has it right about the clams. Yum
Wollaston beach is a cesspool. It's filthy and has been for decades. It is far from anything nice. The coal box is amazing though haha. Been going since the seventies

I moved in a month after you. It's such a great city. Great clam chowder.

The bill must have exceeded $200. Can you afford it in this Biden ecoomy?
I went there while I took my dogs to the vet. Amazing. Really worked the hype.
Man! That clam dude looks and sounds like Regis Philbin.

Anybody know how to coat the clams? Simply eggs milk. And flour? What else?
The whole fried clams are outstanding! Try them without the tartar sauce and tell me I'm wrong.

Because you do not need to. They are fantastic as they are.
Yum!
Do clam bellies taste like oysters?
No...not at all
Been going to the Clam Box but it seems that their fried clams are abit sandy. Wish they would clean their clams better.
It's not really their fault. It's the senders of the clams
The Clam Box in Ipwich, MA is the only one I know of. I'm confused.
Its been in Quincy on Wollaston beach for over 50 yrs. Well known landmark
Not related. Ipswich Clam Box was built in 1935.

Salt your fries. Don't pile up fried food, it gets soggy quick. Other than that, looks amazing.

Vons fish market
I need a sweet man to go down on my clam box,she said.
That is so juvenile. You need to learn how to keep your trash talk in its place.
@@Anthony_in_Bloomington_Indiana I agree with you. This is aimed at families, not trolls with inane sex jokes.
