Ah, individual in-flight entertainment is such a blessing. I remember my first long-haul flight, Berlin to Varadero (Cuba) in 2004. There was only one screen every couple of seat rows and everyone had to watch the same movie. And it wasn't even a good one.

The problem with their 3x4x3 configuration isn't the legroom. It is the width. Imagine being stuck for 9 hours with your shoulder constantly pressed against the shoulder of another person.
is 3-3-3 for the 787 when the proper configuration is 2-4-2. With more seats, and more profit, and lower price of seats are not seeing

I traveled on two 787-8 - the first QR 843 from phuket to Doha the 28 Jun 2022 had the seats too close together. I had problems with the passenger in the back. I have now booked with another airline ... it is impossible to travel with these aircraft.
The same feeling as you, your second flight in 787-8 was how at the level of the place between the seats.
It seems to me that the space available for the legs is not the same on their 787.
@@enter_air I had read that these aircraft have different configurations. Those with very close seats should be used on short flights. My flight instead was Phuket - Doha.
