Anyone else love Donna's nails? ❤ 💅
I'm always looking at her nails! I could never wear them though as I work at the post office & have to keep mine trimmed short!
I love them both, Donna. They are both truly beautiful! My favorite is the Kafe Fassett though. His bold colors really pop against the aqua background and I am drawn to the more modern vibes of that quilt. Thanks for sharing this video!
That’s like asking me to pick my favorite child. I love them both. Blessings.
They are both lovely but for me the Kaffe Fasset is the absolute winner.
OMG the Kaffe Fassett is stunning!! 😍 Thank you (from a grandma in Norway 👋) so much for your great tutorials ,, _ and your beautiful smiles! 💖🌺🌸🌷
I too can not make up my mind. Every time I watch your tutorials . You have a way of quietly imparting your skills to the listener without a lot of chatter. I sooo - look forward to the next tutorial. Thank you for all your families talents.
Wow I’m 789th person responding, Donna, I like Kaffe the best. They’re both really pretty. Have a wonderful weekend, 🥰👍💖 Chris
No question: I like the Kaffee Fessett much more!
The butterfly quilt is beautiful. But I love seeing Kaffe fabrics used in a way that shows off the beautiful prints using a layer cake. Thank you for showing that the background can be a completely different color.
Both quilts are lovely but I am drawn to the calmness of the butterfly quilt. You explain everything so well and your reasoning for choosing borders and thread colours. I am always learning from you!
Kaffe Fasset. I love that you have a more colourful background and a more visible thread.
They are both beautiful, but I must confess I love the bigger Kaffe Fassett quilt the most😊❤
I like the butterflies and the use of a panel, but nothing beats Kaffe’s gorgeous floral prints. This pattern really shows off the big flowers. I’m hoping I’ll have a chance to make it.
I really love the Kaffe quilt. I generally am drawn to older looking fabrics, but something about Kaffe makes my drool. Love all your videos! Thank you for making me believe that I can make quilts too!
I love kaffes fabric. if you can go on his colour workshop. it was an eye opener.
I really like the Kaffe one. The prints are so bright and beautiful. Donna you really are a good teacher, I've learned a lot from watching your videos.
I enter every video I watch, one day my lucky big stars will come up
I love them both. Donna, you are so talented and I love how you share your reasoning for the thread you choose and why you choose different border sizes. You are an amazing teacher.
Agree! 🙌
Lovely! I like both quilts but the Kaffe one is my favorite.
I like both of them a lot but I am leaning towards the butterfly 🦋 quilt more! Beautiful quilts!
Kaffe Fassett, but whatever you do is truly beautiful. It is a joy to watch you create these pieces.
Oh wow. Both are very attractive but the Kaffe fabrics win my vote.
I enjoy your videos, Donna
As many have said, Donna, you are an amazing teacher. When given a choice, I ALWAYS choose Kaffe Fassett fabrics. The upholstery in my living room and family room are finally all plain fabrics so I can change out my quilts and drapes (which I also make myself so I can have them really full) with the seasons and big holidays. Please keep your videos coming. I’m pretty sure there are many fans out here with me who love watching and learning from you. I admire your fabric choices for this quilt. The aqua, turquoise and lavender look wonderful with the prints and I love the large blocks. Expect an order from me for this project. Love it!!!!😊
While I love the Kaffe Fassett fabrics, I love the butterfly quilt against the white background …the butterfly panel colors are just beautiful!
Both quilts are beautiful, but using bold Kaffe Facet prints makes the second quilt stunning!
I love both quilts, but lust after the Kaffe Fassett. I watch the videos you make avidly, and am learning still although I have been quilting for over 16 years. You are a wonderful teacher with fantastic knowledge and design skills. Thank you Donna and your team.
Butterflies! I love Kaffe fabrics, but those butterflies really make that quilt pop. Thanks, Donna, for another great tutorial. 🦋
Hi Donna it's always so good to see you I've watched you from 4 years ago and I've seen every one of your videos. I really like this quilt and it would be easy enough for me to do, and funny enough we both own the same sewing machine and I love it. I look forward yet again to your next videos!
The Kaffe quilt, hands down! It's gorgeous. I really like the border.
Hi Donna! I love them both-the butterflies for a way to use a panel & the Kaffe for the brightness of his huge prints 😊 What a quick & easy quilt!
love both quilts, love the bigger sized blocks!
Donna, I really look forward to your videos. You are such an amazing, talented teacher. I really love both of these quilts but I think my favorite is the butterfly quilt. Thank you for all of your time and instructions to help all of us gain so much inspiration and help make us better quilters.
I LOVE the Kaffe fabric quilt!! All your quilt work is beautiful, Donna! Thank you for sharing.
I just got my quilt kit so excited! I love the Kaffe fabric best. Thank you for all your great tutorials ♥️ The best part is when I get stuck, I get to watch your video again!!
OH DONNA THIS QUILT IS SO BEAUTIFUL. THANK YOU. MY FAV IS THE PURPLE WITH THE BUTTERFLIES.
I love both of them but I prefer a little bit more the butterflies. Thank you so much for all these great tutorials. I've learned a lot in the last past years.
I will say, I like the Butterflies better. The Kaffe Fasset fabrics are stunning, but the butterflies are calming and I love them. You are incredible, Donna!
They are both lovely, but I prefer the aqua background with large floral border Donna. Thanks so much for another stunning tutorial
Both are beautiful, but I absolutely love the butterflies.
Love the Kaye Fasset and especially the light aqua background! Great choice.
I think I like the Kaffe quilt best, I love all the quilts you do. Thanks for all you do
Love them both 😁
Both have their own unique love to them. Colors are popping with the Kaffe and Calming with butterflies.
Donna, I always learn each time I watch your videos. Thanks for sharing with us!
The butterflies but the quilting on the other was gorgeous.
Both Are very beautiful, but I really like the butterfly's in the center. It's just soooo cute
Liked Kaffe quilt which surprised me. I'm usually drawn to butterflies or less bold flowers. Like the size too. Thank you for showing how simple this quilt is.
I love the butterfly fabric, but I also love the aqua background idea on the kaffe quilt. Who am I kidding…I love everything you do!!
I love the butterflies, but both are beautiful!
Fuji Kaffe Stars is absolutely gorgeous! I love to watch you build a quilt Donna. You make it seem so doable and your choice of fabrics and the quilting pattern always go together like a hand to a glove. Thank you
I'm a Kaffe Fassett fan so that is my favorite quilt. Any quilt you make is gorgeous, Donna!! The aqua in the Kaffe Fassett quilt is perfect, it goes with all the fabrics beautifully. I'm up to my eyeballs in quilts right now or I'd be making this quilt right now. So many quilts so little time... le sigh.
They're both beautiful quilts, but the Kaffe is for me. I always enjoy your background, border, and backing choices. The aqua background softens what would be a rather stark contrast if you had chosen white background. Thanks to everyone at Jordan fabrics for the wonderful videos.
I really love the butterfly quilt!
Love the butterfly quilt.
Thank you Donna for another great video!! I have learned so much from you!! I love both of your beautiful quilts. You are the best!! Happy Quilting. Laurie
Donna I love the Kaffe quilt is shows those beautiful patterns that Kaffe has. Love, Love, Love it!!
Loving those fussy cut butterflies 🥰
The Kaffe quilt is so stunning! It is my favorite. You all do such a great job in producing and editing your videos. They are a pleasure to watch. Thanks!
Love the Kaffe quilt best. Love the vibrant colours. I watch your videos each week and admire your method of teaching. Thank you Donna from South Australia.
I am a "Kaffe addict" and loved that you used a layer cake for these ... sometimes I have a hard time figuring out how to use a layer cake which is my favorite form of precut. The butterfly one is pretty and a GREAT resource for using a panel ... I can't decide which so, like you, I'd probably make both!
I like the one with the Kaffe fabrics and the aqua background much more. Also, I’ve been meaning to tell you that I like how you discuss thread colors for the quilting and why you’d use certain ones and not others for particular projects. Keep up the good work, I always enjoy watching your videos. 😊
I love the butterflies. I always enjoy your tutorials and I look forward to them. Thanks for all you do. Your an inspiration.
I love a good star quilt! While normally I am not a fan of Kaffe, in this instance I love that one a bit more of the 2. Thanks for all you do! Happy quilting! 🧵
Butterflies, that one immediately reminded me of my granddaughter. The other one is lovely also.
As much as I like both of them with their vibrant colors, I'd have to say the butterfly panels are my favorite.
I love the butterfly fabric used on the center of the patchwork on the first quilt! Honestly I just love your quilts!!
Butterflies, to me they always represent new life.
Just beautiful Donna. You are so gifted. I like the Kaffe fasset one the best. It’s so pretty. Such complimentary colors.
I love them both. I love butterflies and you can’t go wrong with Kaffe! Such gorgeous big flowers to showcase! I think you are totally right about your choices for the different sized borders. Yep, another home run for you! And your giveaway quilt this time is a favorite of mine! Thank you so much for your kind, generous spirit. So many quilts given away! Awesome!
I love them both...They are sooooo beautiful. But my heart goes to the butterflies ❤🧡💛
That’s where my heart goes as well. 🦋🦋
Love the Kaffe Fassett quilt-and your tutorials!
I loved the Kaffe stars option - I'm a big fan of his fabric and of course, your tutorials Donna... I feel inspired when I watch your videos...
Can't choose! Love them both! You just so talented Donna! Thank for your time!🌻🌻🌻
Kaffe Fassett designs and colours are hard to beat! Religiously follow your informative tutorials! Love from New Zealand x
Donna, While I love both the fabrics, I've always been partial to the big, bold Kaffe Fassett patterns, so it's obviously my favorite for this quilt. I so appreciate your great color sense, which inspires me to try a pattern in different fabrics for a completely different look.
The Kaffe quilt is the one I like better. Thanks for the tutorial.
I am most attracted to the Kaffe Fasset one, but oh how I live the serenity of the butterflies. I am intrigued by the reasoning for the smaller borders on the plainer fabrics. Maybe you could talk more about that in a future video? Thank you so much for all you do. I really like the patterns you present and admire your respect for the designer when it isn't your pattern. (of course there are those copyright laws). I am excited about making this quilt in the near future.
Love them both, just more partial toward the butterfly. So enjoy your videos. After years of not sewing or quilting, I have fallen back in love with them. Thank you for your inspiration and the time you take to make our lives richer through your creativity.
They are both beautiful quilts. I like the Kaffe Fassett the most. Thanks for sharing your time and skills with us. You are an inspiration to so many.
I really loved the Kaffe Fassett one , the both of them are gorgeous but I am partial to flowers. I watch each one of your videos new and old. To be truthful I have done many of the tied quilts more crib and twin for my family but have been practicing on my machine. I have learned a lot by watching your videos, please don't stop. Elaine
I prefer the butterfly quilt, but then I lean towards butterflies anyway. Really enjoy your videos and I pick up tips from you. My favorite part is to see if I can guess which thread you are going to use.
This is the first time I guessed correctly! lol
I really love the butterfly quilt. I really enjoy watching your videos and how you explain how and why you choose everything. including how to iron the pieces that are already sewn
Thank you Donna for another beautiful quilt pattern. I like both of them.
I love them both. Thank you Donna, you are a very good teacher.
Butterflies one would be my first choice to make. Appreciate seeing this pattern done 2 ways, thank you! Always look forward to your videos and learning something new each time.
Kaffe Fasset is an eye catcher for sure. Makes my heart sing.
Donna, everything you make inspires me. Although I love both, the border prints and the backing with the Kaffe Fasset fabrics are stunning.
Both quilts are beautiful, but the Kaffe quilt appeals to me more. Thanks for the video!
Kaffe's fabrics look beautiful in this quilt! Thanks for such a great tutorial Donna!
I really love the butterfly version. It is amazing how different fabrics can completely change the look and feel. I have such a hard time choosing fabrics and have a hard time "seeing" what it will look like!
Me too! On both points. I bought a group of fabrics , a super cute owl fabric and complimentary fabrics, and I am stuck. I have plenty so I can do some samples, but it is so intimidating. I am leaning toward a Chinese lantern design, I have a pattern. Donna did one and it looked fairly easy and has big enough pieces to showcase the owls. Also I either have to commit to buying a long arm machine, or pay someone to quilt them because anything over a sofa size I seem to really struggle to quilt it neatly.
It's like trying to pick a favorite child but let's face it there's always one that shines a little bit brighter 🤣😜 So with that said, I have to choose the butterflies!
Love the Kaffe quilt especially with the aqua background 😍
I love the butterfly 🦋 quilt!
They are both so gorgeous! I love the butterflies for the softness, but I love the Kaffe because it is so bold and beautiful. Thank you for the videos, they are very informative and inspirational.
Once again you inspire me to say "I could do that!" I would vote for the Autumn quilt. That is primarily because of the leaves that extend into the border. I love that detail. Otherwise they are both lovely!
Thank you.
Thank you for being a great teacher! I’m watching now trying to pretend things are “normal” again after hurricane Ian. We have no power but cell service is back. We are blessed to have minimal damage to our house and property in North Fort Myers on the east side.
Both quilts are just beautiful!!
I love watching your videos! I always learn so much from them.
The Kaffe Fasset quilt is my favorite. The background, dashing and borders are perfect!
I love them both too! I get a different feeling with each one. I feel nice and calm and relaxed with the one. But I get excited when looking at the Kaffe quilt with all the cool colors!
Both are amazing quilts, but I really love the Kaffe quilt. Soooo gorgeous.
I love how you make them both look so beautiful. But my heart belongs to the butterflies. Enjoy.
Love them both but I love butterflies. Love watching your videos.
I love the one you made for the video. I usually don’t even know what to do with his fabric but I love what you did. You have such a skill with color balancing
