Song is Cry (just a little) - Bingo Players, which is a remix of Rainbow - Vynlshakers but the vocals are mostly taken from Piano in the dark - Brenda Russell.
Maybe, there are stressful moments, but there are a lot of happy moments. Ultimately people who do this for living usually can't find themselves giving up because this is what they enjoy doing.
1:14 dat beyond epic FF thats thing i like about sase.. hes clever. i see him use hallucination effectively as well. plus he really works and never gives up in games.
I hit the word limit so I couldn't elaborate. But anyway, P unit comps generally have more units with spells than T. As for Z, yea they're more like T as far as spell casters go but they rely more on the need to flank/positioning since they have more, but weaker units. To take advantage of their numbers they need good surface area compared to P and T. So yea, I suppose Z is about as Amove as T but you need to do more set-up before the Amove. My point though is that P is arguably the LEAST Amove
no, it is always blue and red. But you can turn on a setting witch puts all opponents as red, you as green and you allies as yellow. Its alt + f in game i think.
Not luck, it was mainly because the Vietnamese knew the surrounding land. Actually the same thing played out in the Revolution as well. American militia were more familiar to their homeland. If Redcoats were marching on the main road, the Americans would know perfect ambush points to spot the bright red uniforms. Notice how determined SaSe was to snipe his opponent's observer. Without the observer, his opponent will have no idea where he is. That's SaSe's eye in the sky, and he knew it.
His opponent just ran all of his probes into SaSe's ffs on the ramp and lost them all. He then probably made the mistake of warping in too many units so he had less than 50 minerals.
Definitely not (regarding macro, I agree with you as far as micro goes). P has the easiest macro system I'd say. Much easier to warp in a wave of units than manage all of T production facilities. Z has an easy unit production system (easier even than P), but the macro system overall is more difficult since you need to balance drone vs army production. This next part isn't to you but just in general: P is NOT an a-move race. If anything (note the "if") it's T. Usually less 'spells' than Z/P.
*Cough* If they go for mass roach yes. Muta ling, not really, anything involving infestors, not really. Protoss is basically all a-move apart from blink stalkers, phoenixes, and sentries. Terran can A-move and use 2 braincells to siege up tanks. If you even consider saying "But terran needs to dodge banelings", so does every other race. All races are equally a-movey, depends on unit comps.
I believe so. I'm not the same guy who posted the comment above (my friend, who's also plays a bunch of sc2 posted it), but I'm pretty sure it's his friend. Or at least that's what I remember being told by the guy who posted the above comment.
(hit word limit again, continued from my other post) [...] that P is arguably the LEAST Amove yet P is largely known as the "Amove race"... pretty funny
of course. If for some reason you send them vs thors, you'll have to pull out the magic box, but all that is still is right click and hold position above thors. then harassing is the run in run out doodad
Well. Late game PvT P needs to micro more to have an advantage which do exist, and thus T complaning and I understand; but doesn't mean T has to micro more in a direct engagement. As long as P micro correctly T is not good, so they want to focus on "multi-tasking". T has a harder production / rally. Z needs to read more since they die easily without proper response. Z needs a very good sense of when to engage or back out. But during engagement, very little micro. I'm random masters btw.
Actually, the othr player didn't have blink. It's not only about sase being good, it's about blink micro, the most OP foorm of micro in the whole game.
Yah, we were talking about the higher leagues I was just saying that in the higher leagues, Protoss usually keep their Colussi well back, making them hard to snipe with bio :) Not that I'm particularly high league though haha
I like all the support you provided. Compelling argument you have there. Also, I didn't even mention this game in particular. Other match ups require just as much micro as PvP, just different micro. I provided my reasons above. Where are yours?
Yes I'm aware of that as well, but the point is that if Toss actually started relying more heavily on Micro, they'd run over everyone. Right now they can essentially Deathball their way to victory, if they had Micro...Boy...
The point I'm trying to make is that Protoss would be MUCH better if they micro'd more heavily instead of using just brute force for the most part. It's not that they can't Micro. This is why I like WhiteRa, he's unique and has incredible micro. Have you seen his recent Pheonix Micro vs Tenu? A masterpiece if I've ever seen one.
at lower leagues zealots aren't really used often :) So sniping colossi suddenly becomes viable and the best move to do with bio... but if there's zealots on the field then yes letting the vikings take on the colossi and trying to stutter back is the best option often.
No... Why? In the jungle, SaSe's stalkers were fighting guerrilla warfare. He picked off one unit at a time without suffering any casualties. If he had engaged directly, he would have lost easily as his opponent has more units and a colossus.
He meant the Vietnamese not the Americans. They used guerilla warfare, and to great effect, often doing short hit and run attacks to thin out the Americans. It's not luck if you plan it and have control over it.
I think he hotkeys small groups/individual stalkers. It looked like he clicked stalkers too, so I think he only had some stalkers in hotkeys and others not.
Forcefields: Hold F. And as zerg if you just A-move into a toss-deathball you'll die. You need to micro your army to attack the right units ect. or you get rolled.
Is that how the P play in your gold league? A-move colossus with gateway units and no micro will lose you every game in the higher leagues. Without good FFs, bioballs will just stim up and focus your colossus - easy win for terran with minimal micro. If the terran has vikings, even with good ffs you still need to micro your colossus away and focus down the vikings with your stalkers. But yes, if everyone just a-moves like in gold then P a-move with col > T/Z a-move. gl a-moving diamond+ though
To me, this just emphasizes how good Protoss are when used to their fullest. The other guy is a traditional protoss player, ya know, A move, and Sase is a Protoss player who's actually good at this fucking game and it just goes to show that nothing is impossible with Toss if played with some skill lol.
What are you talking about? Did you even read my comment? Some guy diamond player was complaining about how Protoss can just build colossus and a-move. I said that he must be gold if he thinks that because in diamond+ Protoss requires a lot of micro and certainly can't just a-move to victory... lol read before you criticize next time.
Not really for NA. I'd say currently Masters is the league that means "I'm actually playing this game and trying to get better at it". I just played some top8 Masters earlier today and they aren't that good (I lost, but w.e). For KR I'd say platnium is sufficient. I might push it to high diamonds for NA, but honestly any lower is nothing but casual. I understand many spectators do belong in that group, and some may even study games hardcore. But some things, you only know when you do play.
Well what u originally said meant protoss = no micro & still win. Which isn't true. Obviously all races have potential especially for those at the top. I'm talking semi-top or overall game balance. At masters, a less microed protoss would easily die to terran or zerg with your said "deathball". But w.e I love whitera too =P and it's fun discussing with you.
That was fricken amazing. Unbelievable stalker control.
Probably one of the sickest SC2 clips ever
Song is Cry (just a little) - Bingo Players, which is a remix of Rainbow - Vynlshakers but the vocals are mostly taken from Piano in the dark - Brenda Russell.
I feel like I just watched a better version of 300. That was incredible.
Stalker: You require my skills.
SaSe: Stalker please..
Most intensive micro I have ever seen ... BRUTAL SaSe stuff !
Watching this again after the HerO v Bunny Atlanta 2022 match. Two protosses ahead of their times.
This transcends skilled Starcraft 2 micro, this guy might actually be a brilliant tactician
Maybe, there are stressful moments, but there are a lot of happy moments. Ultimately people who do this for living usually can't find themselves giving up because this is what they enjoy doing.
1:14 dat beyond epic FF
thats thing i like about sase.. hes clever. i see him use hallucination effectively as well. plus he really works and never gives up in games.
SaSe - Giving a whole new meaning to "hit and run".
I hit the word limit so I couldn't elaborate. But anyway, P unit comps generally have more units with spells than T. Peeling that army like a freakin organge ... BEASTY SaSe.
it is, he mentioned it on his stream
One of the best micros i have ever seen :D
Fair enough. Ultimately their are pros and cons of every race in both macro and micro. What is easiest or hardest will differ by person.
This man can no doubt walk on water.
That was so stressful to watch! I can't imagine ever playing in a game like that, insane micro
that was some pretty amazing stalker micro.
Second song is Bingo Players - Cry (Just A Little)
Thank you very muuuuch ! I looked for every remix and couldn´t find it ! I´ll re-post it so people can see it :D Thanks again !
I don't think I've ever hit my jaw on my desk so hard.

taking out one unit at a time was really smart
His opponent just ran all of his probes into SaSe's ffs on the ramp and lost them all. He then probably made the mistake of warping in too many units so he had less than 50 minerals.

It causes less lag issues. It is also better to put the grpahics on low because it is easier to see units and such.
Pure art.
don't know what micro you expect when it's blink + obs vs no blink and no obs
Actually, the othr player didn't have blink. It's not only about sase being good, it's about blink micro, the most OP foorm of micro in the whole game.
Yah, we were talking about the higher leagues

SaSe's the reason why BW had 12 unit control groups
yeah im never forgetting to get blink again
Destiny's brofestor hit squad, SaSe's Samurai stalkers, MMA's spartan marines. Starcraft II is OP
Why is it that every time you do something epic, the song "we found love" is playing in the background
Yes I'm aware of that as well, but the point is that if Toss actually started relying more heavily on Micro, they'd run over everyone. Right now they can essentially Deathball their way to victory, if they had Micro...Boy...

I wish SaSe would do this good in tournaments.
at lower leagues zealots aren't really used often :) So sniping colossi suddenly becomes viable and the best move to do with bio... but if there's zealots on the field then yes letting the vikings take on the colossi and trying to stutter back is the best option often.
The Brofester Hit Squad VS 13 Samurai Stalkers
Song:Bingo Players - Cry (Just A Little) (Original Mix)
they are only red and blue to each other, your own team will always be green
No... Why? In the jungle, SaSe's stalkers were fighting guerrilla warfare. He picked off one unit at a time without suffering any casualties. If he had engaged directly, he would have lost easily as his opponent has more units and a colossus.
Never give up.
And then, he immediately called Amanda.
i got tired just watching this ... so good!!
Serge Devant feat. Hadley - Dice (Thomas Sagstad Remix)
That, and people don't wanna get cheesed out for a reaction.
A lot of pros keep graphics low so the lag isn't so high. It's to help with that insane micro you just watched. =)
That's probably because SaSe is in Quantic...
sase the counter to colossus
He meant the Vietnamese not the Americans. They used guerilla warfare, and to great effect, often doing short hit and run attacks to thin out the Americans. It's not luck if you plan it and have control over it.
LOL that insane micro. Its like Vietnam all over again...
You do that, and your whole army is destroyed by colossi or siege tanks within seconds.
Sase is so god damn boss it's unbelievable
Blink is perfectly balanced.
Amazing micro. I wonder how many kills each stalker got.
Protoss is such a hard counter to Protoss
this isnt destinys channel. its a fan who puts his videos up.
This is incredible
Well he still streams and he posted a hissy fit on reddit the other day.
no, actually p is the most a move. this is just different because it's pvp.
Half of SaSe's games look like Starcraft Master challenges.
It is actually. Do you know how many people have blink micro that good? Next to nill.
SaSe's gonna sauce.
Yeah, you were.
I don't think you know what Micro means. So yea, I'll keep thinking that and you can keep thinking what you like.
Seems like a remix of Finley Quaye - Dice
we have a obvious protos right here
NEVER GIVE UP!!
luckily, his opponent didnt have colossi range, otherwise it woulda been so much harder.
SERIUSLY!
Protoss is least a move? That explains all the lategame sentries i see... Oh wait.
holy sase.
Gotta try to mimic this. huge fan of blink and you :p
Amazing play!
but he won it beautifully, isn't it?
Is that how the P play in your gold league? A-move colossus with gateway units and no micro will lose you every game in the higher leagues. Blink is a good talent toi have.
To me, this just emphasizes how good Protoss are when used to their fullest. The other guy is a traditional protoss player, ya know, A move, and Sase is a Protoss player who's actually good at this fucking game and it just goes to show that nothing is impossible with Toss if played with some skill lol.
Now that is what I call army control!!
Blink op versus its own race

1:16 "You Can't Leave!" xD
i don't think the opponent had blink researched lol
SaSe's Sc2 skill is grandmaster, but his music taste skill is wood league.
awesome micro
he doesnt make his own videos anymore
Should have done it with the benny hill music theme.
